We came for my sons birthday they put chocolate coins on the table for him sang happy birthday. Also he got his meal for free. The food was fantastic and so was the service.

What a great experience. The food was 1st rate. The staff were customer focused. The establishment was spotless. It was first rate. This is now our go to take away.

Plastic chips as they cooled down - never had a chip go crackly with in 5 mins of eating food - very bad cooking oil

Had the absolute pleasure of going to Rumbles fish and chip bar the other day, and can’t speak highly enough. Firstly there is plenty of selection for food and the general feel of the fish and chip bar is clean and fresh. I came in with my partner and our baby, and when the baby became restless my partner began to comfort her, upon noticing this, the staff took it upon themselves to offer to keep my partners food warm for her, when she was done feeding our baby and I took over so she could eat, the staff returned her food warm and with a fresh load of chips instead of the ones she originally had. Not only that they asked if we needed the doors shutting to keep the baby nice and warm, and regularly checked to make sure everything was ok. An amazing experience.

Ask for a Special Burger with Lamb, AKA the Super Special 4 Animal Burger with cheese.... 1/4 pounder, Chicken Fillet, Bacon & Lamb chunks. Without a doubt, the best and tastiest burger that money can buy!!! Super friendly staff, the place is clean as a whistle and the potatoes are absolutely lovely too!!!

Really nice sausage and chips from this place. Personally I never had the fish but I have no doubt it is nicely cooked. Well worth a visit if you are a lover of this kind of food.

Have been visiting Rumbles for a while now, both eat in and take out, and its always a pleasure. Cash only, but thats not a problem as there's a cashpoint outside. Staff are always welcoming, great with the kids (and patient), and most importantly the food, which is why we keep coming back, is always delicious.

Best fish and chips Staff so friendly Spotlessly clean A lovely lady came from behind the counter today asking everyone if they where ok and that there meal was ok She then brought out some little tubs with Turkish delight in and gave them to all the customers The staff make sure you have everything you need before you start your meal Nothing is too much for them We come from Northampton and wouldn’t dream of eating anywhere else Highly recommend you try this establishment you won’t be disappointed 🥰♥️

What a find! I was waiting for a friend who was running late and went in to warm up. So glad I did! It looks so lovely and the young man on the counter was immediately welcoming. I had a chip butty (with a toasted bun) and it was delicious. So reasonably priced for sitting in too. A massive thank you to the cook and counter guy who were both brilliant. I will tell everyone I know in the area and will so be back.

Just had lunch at Rumbles with my family. The place is outstanding! The food was great. The menu was large and the prices were very reasonable. The restaurant is clean with good seating. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area.

Just returned from a great dining experience at Rumbles. Been planning on trying it ever since it opened and today my friend and I decided to treat ourselves to a f&c lunch there. So glad we did, lovely welcoming smile as we entered their clean, spacious, nicely decorated establishment. Chose our table and went to the counter to order, f&c x 2, mushy peas and curry sauce and a couple of mugs of tea to wash it down. It was served to us very quickly and looked scrumptious. It was all piping hot, freshly cooked and smelt mouth watering. Getting down to the business of eating, the chips were lovely golden brown, the fish was fresh and white like it had just come off the boat, with a beautiful thin layer of non-greasy batter and complimented by the lovely curry sauce and mushy peas, washed down by strong, piping hot tea, lovely jubbly! It was a generous portion, a proper gut buster but so nice I didn't want to leave any, think I left about three or for chips, didn't want to make a pig of myself! :) I asked for another cup of tea after my meal which was delivered promptly and was told it was on the house. To complete our dining experience we had some home made complementary Turkish delight brought to us, delicious! (thank you mum!) A cheery wave as we left made the whole experience delightful. Thank you Rumbles, we will definitely be back again. Irthlingborough, you are very lucky to have such a great eating establishment in your village. Don't just take my word for it, give it a try.

Great fish and chips served here and service with a smile. Liam was so kind when my son left his mobile phone in the fish restaurant. He posted it and wouldn’t accept any money and we were so grateful. Thank you Liam! ☺️

Really friendly staff but most important the food was first rate, couldn't fault it, premises so clean.

As a food safety manager with a gluten intolerance I'm always aware of my choices for eating out... Rumbles was one of the cleanest and friendliest places I've visited in years and no problems with gluten free (really crispy batter)

Fantastic chip shop. Great food and customer service. We use Rumbles on a regular basis And have never had any issues. Liam is fab with the customers..Always friendly and goes over and above.

we often have fish and chip meals when out and about so are amateur experts. This is one of my top 3 chip shops. Towards the top as in my home town. The service is a model of genuine customer care, the food so tasty, good portions, prices are great. You have no excuse for not trying them and soon. Thank you Liam for being so great!!

Greasiest, slimiest chips I’ve ever had! Chips dripping with grease, not a single semi crispy chip to be seen - terrible quality. I binned most of the chips. Quite surprised at this as the reviews on here are great….! The positives were that the service was good and the potion size for a small chips was pretty much a large, just a shame about how bad they were!!

Rumbles are the absolute best .. let me please share with you what transpired on Saturday 25 June 2022 … I was in a state of shock after hearing of a sudden bereavement, which left 2 children . As a church we decided to put food together for the following day service, so we could fellowship, eat and grieve together. I decided I would purchase 30 pieces of chicken from Rumbles however, I did not have any cash on me nor did I have my debit card as this was misplaced and I was waiting for my replacement. All I can say these people went above beyond Customer service. They saw my meltdown in my vehicle, came and handed me the chicken and told me to pay when I could come in. It still reduces me to tears. How wonderful to know humanity, kindness, empathy and love is not dead. I can not thank these wonderful people enough. Not only is there’s the food and service impeccable, they are kind and loving to the core. They make a difference ❤️ Forever grateful Jacqui x

This fish and chips shop deserves high praise. Firstly the welcome by staff is exemplary. Kind and courteous. Then and perhaps most importantly the food is cooked to perfection and has flavour. The fish has a thin crispy batter and isn’t greasy. Despite being far from the sea, the fish has flavour too. The chips use a good quality potato and are cooked to a golden colour. You can also eat in. The facilities including rest rooms are spotless and the ambiance is pleasant with fresh flowers on the tables. Lastly this is great value chip shop. Prices are low and I am amazed how in current times they manage to achieve this. Overall a great chippy….

Wow! What a friendly place, I visit here for the first time on whim and I came away a very happy customer. I only wanted a single meal for me and requested what I wanted, the VERY friendly and polite gentleman on the counter took my order and advised me there would be a 17 minute wait for the items I wanted, then without hesitation offer me an alternative which I gladly took up on the offer, a short while later my food was ready and I have for an unknow reason to me been given what I can only describe as a bucket of food "fried chicken" which wa ls clearly valued at a far greater value than the cost of my meal. Not only was my portion generous the food was packed with flavour and I would say is definitely in the same league of not on the verge of passing it's high street and big chain competition. I will certainly be revisiting this outlet and advise any fried chicken lovers in the area to do the same.

I visited this beautiful chip shop for the 1st time, oh my god, what a beautiful shop, friendly staff that look like they love there job. Now the food. Chip- very very nice, fresh and no grease. Fish- the best I have ever had and iv had a lot, fresh and succulent, crispy batter, no grease at all. Battered sausage- not over cooked crispy. Cheesy chips- the best I have ever had, the cheese is so nice and no oils from the cheese. Coleslaw- this is the best tasting one that I have ever had, i could of eaten a bucket of it. Hummus- very nice indeed. Well done keep up the great work, you have now got me there ever time I want take out.

We are regular visitors as this is the best chip shop in the area by far. The chips are always fresh, the fish is a good size whilst being crispy and not greasey! The staff are also super friendly and very accommodating!

Worthy of 5 stars, great fish and chips

Excellent fish and chips. They say you can't beat the seaside for freshness and taste, I would put these up there with them and better than some I've had. Size of portion is more than ample and cost is very reasonable. Staff are very polite and cleanliness is outstanding. A real must go to.

We arrived as a Club and could not have been made to feel more welcome. The friendly staff served us at the tables, everywhere was spotless and the fish and chips were delicious, the best we have tasted in a long long time. We will definitely be back
