Best chippy in town when they read the order correctly. If u order chilli sauce u want chilli sauce. Have also noticed that the large cod is no longer large. Come on Jeff. U built a good strong business at ocean blue but things r now starting 2 slip

Having recommended Lords to friends on numerous occasions, tonight was really disappointing.Large fish wasn't a good portion and large chips tasted warmed despite calling 15 minutes prior to collection to ensure fresh. Scampi okay but no better than Lidl at half price. Quality and quantity disappointing. Couldn't recommend on tonight's offering.

The absolute disrespect to what they have just delivered to me. Took no care in what they were delivering to me. Just through it all in a bag and it was everywhere when I opened it. Never going to this place again.

We order from here regularly since moving into the area, and the delivery service is very prompt and quick. Portions are very good too, no complaints whatsoever. Fish is good and Battered sausage for our son, which he loves...

It's a chip shop no frills just tasty food when you want it and salt and vinegar with your chips if you want it. Friendly staff.

Not a bad bit of Grubb for quickness - when wanting somthing quick and simple For our monday dinner this place is perfect Only slight issue and that's they serve the fish cakes burned on 1 side from sitting under the light a while ! rather than chucking them away ! And cooking fresh My only fault

Ordered a bulk order for a fish and chip supper, half the order went to the wrong address and the other half was missing. Delivery driver could not care less and sat in her car chatting. Avoid if it’s for a function, very disappointing.

Order nearly every night sometimes twice for other late coming home family and been impeccable food but tonight's was terrible, large cod broken to bits in box and certainly not large and chips were not great. Very disappointing indeed.

Very thin kebab meat but ok flavour and not packed with high fat content. Good size portions but was on the toilet for a while straight after consumed, may be serve fresh meat rather than pre cut older meat.

Only like fish and chips but its the only place I've found not to have greasy fish. The chips are excellent too and generous size portions. I'm sure all thier food is but I just stick with my favourite fish and chips.

An excellent cod & chips from Lords Chippy. Fresh fish in a light batter, tasty cheesy chips all cooked in clean oil. The best I've had from a Rushden chippy and I've tried nearly all of them. Top marks!

The owner is really nice here. Ordered from here a few times during the pandemic 😷. I would definitely recommend this place. I really like their Mexican Burger very filling and enjoyable.

I order a small fish and chips online most Saturdays. Always ready on time, always tasty and always served with a smile from Megan !

Chips are soggy, greasy, and undercooked and its the same for the onion rings, they are so pale.. I wouldn't say it was a great experience.

If i could give this zero stars then i would do that in an instant, when i ordered my food i specifically ordered it without salad on two of the items, i also ordered a kebab as a small, so when i got it delivered, i noticed that both of the items had salad, the kebab came as a large so when i called to tell them they sent the order wrong i was told it was me that made the mistake and i know i didnt make the mistake and to add salt to the wound their app doesnt allow you to see your order, so all in all the customer service was horrendous, the people that run the place have no clue how to deal with bad orders half the food came cold so ive now got 40 pounds worth of food sat in the bin.. Thanks lords.. Thanks for taking my money and in return serving me useless junk honestly do not attempt to buy food from here theres plenty of places better, i recommend red cafe or wishbones or even ocean blue

Really disappointed with this order, twenty minutes late and cold. Not what I expect from Lords. 01/05/2021 Didn't really need the sarcasm from the delivery guy, takes time to get to the door due to mobility issues. Customer service skills lacking.

Ordered mixed kebab of chicken, lamb & kofte shish kebab. It was inedible. All the meat was tough and burnt to a frazzle. The chips were weak and soggy. The only thing they couldn’t get wrong was the salad. Will never order from them again. A rubbish inedible meal and waste of money. Don’t order from them.

Very poor indeed spent £30.00 on four large fish and chips that turned out to be completely awful ! Fish had a twang and also dark brown bits in it and the batter was tasteless will 100% not be returning any time soon 👎

The chips were really nice however I felt the quality of the meat let it down and the buns weren’t toasted they were very wet

Went here last night, they were so busy with online orders but my haddock was cooked to perfection, fabulous chips good portion too. always friendly, as have been here before. Great service, well done. Keep up the good work

Brilliant chip shop, kebabs are lovely and the service is always great. Always on time, fresh and hot. (Chips could be a little crispier but that’s personal preference haha) thank you! Would definitely recommend and we do still use again and again.

I understand how hectic things are at the moment but i am truly disappointed with the whole meal, waited nearly two hours for cold overcooked fish, never again chicken as tough as old boots. Mushy peas were liquid never again

Just had fish and chips for our evening meal delivered to the door. It was absolutely fantastic. Huge cod with no skin and really crunchy batter, really hot, obviously freshly cooked. I cannot think that there would be any better fish and chips anywhere.

Went into this chippy no one waiting to be served ,we stood there waiting to be served 2 people behind the counter, no acknowledgement to us,all they where doing was the delivery orders,so walked out very rude

Always takes nearly 2 hours to get here. And had at least 3 occassions where some.of our order was missing. Gone downhill. Never ordering again.

Placed order online at 6;19 pm confirmation said would be delivered by 7:19 pm. At 7:44 pm still not received delivery. Made 25 attempts at ringing to chase delivery but phone line kept coming up as busy. Still not got delivery. Go to Red Cafe instead, better service and keep customers updated.

Tried this establishment a few weeks ago for the first time. The business is run as a partnership by a couple of young men who are very friendly and welcoming.The fish was juicy and fried to perfection with crispy batter and the chips were again fresh and crispy.Next to try is their kebabs. Highly recommended.

First time I’ve tried it tonight. Best piece of fish I’ve had in a long, long time. I’d say even years! Very tasty and fresh with very light batter. Kids also rated the burgers 🍔 very highly. Will definitely use again 👍😊

Used the delivery service a couple of times now and each time it’s been fantastic. Food is hot and tasty and service with a smile. Kebabs are great and fish is the best in town.

On this showing we are still searching for a decent fish & chip shop in town. Yes the portions were very large,but big is not always beautiful. Summing up,we will continue our search for an enjoyable chip shop locally.

Great food, decent prices. I liked it a lot. Been there two days in a row because I had a job nearby. Very friendly stuff and portions have broken me and my friends (so much food). For a 'fast food' place - I will be back if my work will take me to Rushden again.

This shop sells fresh beautiful food must be the best for miles cooking oil is fresh not twangy or stale best chips I have tasted in years great cooks great service polite and friendly I would recommend this place to anyone looking for quality food always hygienic worth a visit

Order three times so far each time the food has been fantastic we have had fish and chips fish was perfect chips were amazing very fresh we have also tried the range burger which was very nice and the kebabs are fantastic perfectly priced and taste amazing and nothing is greasy I 100% recommend this place the service is perfect and so is the delivery time

I had severeal meals, fish and chips, and everytime I ate here I felt I was served fresh, fried fish. So the Fish and Chips kept a good standard in my view. The employees was friendly and proffesional. Short preparation time. I waited maximum 7 minutes.

The fish & chips were freshly cooked to perfection. My cup of tea was served on a tray with a jug of milk and a small bowl in which to put the teabag. The whole place was clean and tidy. The service was top notch, I shall certainly be visiting again.

We ordered for the first time yesterday and the food was lovely best kebabs we have had in Rushden and they are the only place we have found that does lamb and chicken doner meat the chips were good sausages were great kids meal was the perfect size and not too much food fast delivery will be using them from now, everyone enjoyed the food. In Rushden this is the only chippy tgat can cook haddock in my experience without the fillet being too thin, or soggy batter.

Had to wait for food to be cooked from scratch, like chips?? Battered sausage, stuff you'd expect to be ready

It was well, OK as the one in Brighton was worse.... Ok, pass through the area love my chips so decide to take on the nearest Chippy. Time around 13:30 on a Tuesday. Well, the chips looked dry but nothing some salt and vinegar couldn't soak a bit, but as that's all I had not much more to say.

Big portions and nice wedge of lemon with the fish it’s a great touch. You have to wait for items to be cooked but it’s worth the wait. Food is always good and they staff and friendly.

A good local chippy very friendly and helpful staff. The haddock is always fresh and flaky and the regular portion of chips is very plentiful . They take telephone orders and will deliver. Lord's only take cash payments but are worth a visit.

Very friendly welcome as soon as you walk in. Great tasting and very large portions. Succulent juicy white fish. What more could you ask for.

We have now enjoyed the exceptional value of this traditional fish and chip shop on a number of occasions. In our case this involves a 20 mile round trip but the quality and portion size more than compensates. Prices are comparable to those in surrounding areas but the portions are at least 50% larger. In the evening parking is usually within a few yards. The food is cooked perfectly and the service is friendly and helpful. These people are obviously professionals and take a pride in their work.

Lord's High Street Chippy is as it states in Rushden high st. They do a great value senior citz fish/chips peas for only £4.00 . Other items also well cooked and tasty.
