Good quality fish and chips,not the cheapest but I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Very poor food the pie was cold by time I got home five minutes away the chips hard dry don’t think il ever use again been there a few times with the hope things mite improve you have to give the benefit off doubt but sadly over all rubbish food for the price save your money

Clean tidy freshly made food not just kept warm good portion sizes and for a reasonable price

Friendly staff. I ordered Lunchtime Small Cod and Chips with Curry Sauce(£8.90). A generous portion of chips. The cod was a bit flat but very nice-I did ask for small. Fish slightly greasy but maybe as all freshly cooked and served. Very good-I’ll use them again.

I'm really sorry to say this but my daughter have food poisoning after having food from you. I think that you should be more careful, everyone's health is different lucky hers wasn't severe according to the doctor but she did suffered with it.

I had a sausage from here and a couple of hours later I suffered from food poisoning because it wasn’t cooked properly

Used this chippy for years....3 weeks ago ordered a large portion of chips, they were great for large portion spot on. Following week same again...hello hello... not so many.. Give them the benifit of the doubt went in again tonight for the same....even less, just an average portion size...well next week will not be coming back as I would expect the downward trend and wouldn't get any chips for my large portion.... Come on Ocean Blue.. liven up...A large portion of chips is what it is....Organise your staff get a grip on your chips. .Serve your customers well or you loose them ... terrible.. I'm gone.

Got tonight 2 chicken burgers. It was just bread and a slice of chicken burger. No ketchup, no salad, not a single slice of tomato or anything else. Just bread and the chicken.

Very poor food the fish was absolutely disgusting lots of black bits in the fish and also totally full of oil and fat definitely will not recommend or be visiting again.

Staff here are always smiling and friendly, I travel a lot around the UK so I've tried my fair share of chippys 🙈 but this is my local chip shop and I've not needed to go anywhere else since! Great food, always piping hot and keeps me coming back every Friday evening 🤭.

First timers here and we ordered 2 haddock and chips and was absolutely delish! Super hot still by when we got it home and batter was super crispy and good portion size without being a crazy amount. Definitely will return :-)

It's great. I would almost go as far to say that the food is perfect. But it's not quite perfect in my opinion. They go through the trouble to keep the food as freshly cooked as possible (thumbs up to that) My only grudge is the chips could do with a little longer. They're far from burnt, ruined, soggy or under cooked. My preference is to have a slight crisp to the chips

Been coming to this chip shop since 1997. Recently moved back into the area and tried it again the other night and I wasn’t disappointed! Brilliant chip shop food, excellent large portions and the staff extremely friendly!

As im pescitarian wanted to know if its possible to get oil changed for fish. Man spoke very very rudely saying it would cost him too much money! Extremely rude would highly avoid!!!

Love this takeaway, there cod and chips is delicious, the batter is very light and the cod cooked just perfect. They also do a lovely donner kebab . Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

This chippy has been open for as long as I can remember. I first moved into Rushden when I was about 6 years old (I'm 28 now) and it was open then! It's always been a family favourite and whenever I come back home now to visit family in Higham, this chip shop is a must! Good chippy food and the service from the girls behind the counter is always friendly, they always have a laugh with you!

By far the best "Fish & Chips" this side of the equator ...And the consistency is also key here. The fish is also very flaky and the batter is supreme... The chips are all so plentiful... ;-)

Good fish and chips, their kebab meat is amazing! Not greasy and oilly like other local takeaways. We use every Friday at work for our religious fish and chip lunch. Their meal deals are a bargain too 100% credit to the staff and owners

This place can be touch and go, sometimes good sometimes poor but last night I popped in for a bag of chips and they were spot on. The staff are always friendly here and prices are good along with portion sizes.
