As a large group (19 in total) we were apprehensive what the service would be like, but we had nothing to worry about - service was excellent, the food all came out very quickly and everything was delicious. We will definitely be booking to come again.

The worst Chinese I've ever had. This was once one of the better Chinese takeaways. Tonight thought I'd revisit. The sauce was runny & tasteless. Chips were thinking, dry & inedible. The rice was completely tasteless & the food overall was lukewarm. Don't think I've ever been so deflated in my life. Especially not after spending close to £40. Only good point was service speed.

Bank Holiday Monday. We turned up 7ish and there was space for us to sit and order food. The menu is a good selection of starters, mains and deserts. The pies looked big, otherwise the portion size was medium, my pesto chicken was very tasty. The food arrived in a sensible time (not too quick and not too slow). All the food was well prepared and presented. The deserts were quite large, I had the cheesecake and it was a struggle to finish. We were all pleased with our choices. The staff were friendly and efficient. The bill was a pleasant surprise and we gave a generous tip.

For years, I've been popping into Mickleover for a pint around 5 pm straight after work on a Friday, and until last year, it was always the Nags Head but I got fed up of there not being enough staff behind the bar and a long wait to be served so I go to the 2 pubs across the road instead. Thought I'd try again yesterday, but it's got no better. And £1.80 for splash of Lemonade? Cmon, guys, this isn't on. I paid less than that in London last week. Other tables made similar comments. Cmon, guys, get it sorted. In the meantime, we'll stay across the road

Absolutely incredible meal. I had a butter chicken with medium spice which was extremely tasty and my other half had a hot chicken tikka masala and he said it was the best curry he’s ever had. Service was also excellent and our food came out quickly. We will definitely be coming here again!

A great local Chinese conveniently placed in the middle of the village so ideal once you've had a few drinks in the local pubs. Always great food and speedy service and now open later than it used to be! 👍🏼

Good- pleasant environment and nice seating area. Staff very attentive and chatty. Food average . Carvery was warm rather than hot but we ate at 14.00 so i guessing end of service. Nothing particularly great about boiled vegetables and thinnest pieces of meat offered . Gravy very good though which covers a rather bland meal. Reasonable priced for pub food and menu was very limited only offering carvery or burgers Bad- seats were uncomfortable and you sank into the seats! High chair difficult to get small child in and out again. Worried we were going to take him home in the chair lol Ugly- N/A

The portions were not even half of the container.. It maybe cheaper but it does not feed one person.. I had a meat biriani there were just very tiny pieces of meat.. almost shaving and the vegetable curry than came with it was just two spoonfuls not worth the money.. do not buy from this restaurant.. you are better off paying slightly more and getting a portion instead of half a portion.. is a rip off

food was awful no flavour left over from a previous evening.never had a garlic nan with a base that couldn't be broken.lamb saag that tasted more like wet cardboard and butter chicken that had a full bag of sugar poured over it in a vain attempt to give it some kind of flavour
