Rondhon in Derby

Avoid! I would recommend The Robin across the road. We didn't receive the order we orderedand them when they rang them, they insinuated we were lying. We ended eating what we didnt order and sub quality.

The most simple thing should be order, delivery pay? Not that simple. They use phrasing I've never heard of before and I had 4 attempts to pay. Stick with what you know. I only live 200yds from the restaurant 🙄

Unbelievable curry! We have been going here for 5 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. The service is fantastic as well. If you haven't tried it yet please do you won't be disappointed!

Food over hour late. Didn't realise after paying, food cold had to re heat. First time late food. (Benefit of the doubt) Everything used to exceptional. Don't know what has happened to this place. Will not order again. Sorry

The guy that supposed to serve you at the front was sitting down on the sofa on his mobile phone, minding that and the quality of service of him forgetting The order and as well as having a bad stomach after I totally do not recommend this place one bit stay away

I stopped off at this fantastic establishment as I was dropping someone off from Manchester, a cosy little takeaway and lovely food and the staff were great!

I have raved about the food from here for years but i'll never order from here again now. The Tia Masala was weird, like a tin of Heinz tomato soup poured over some old re-heated chicken. I never received the naan bread, instead they sent a bare pizza base folded in half and some dry garlic slices in the bottom of the bag! Delivery driver was REALLY creepy, after i took the bag and said thank you he stood for a long time at my door, smiling weirdly and looking me up and down. Such a shame a place that was so great has turned into this

Ordered the hot and spicy pizza which we normally love, however tonight it was nothing like the usual we ordered. It was over cooked and had pepperoni which we have never had before. Doubt I will go there again after that experience

Amazing value for money, delicious food and nice people doing what they can to make you happy.

Quality was OK for the price, I had a fairly basic order with Korma and naan, staff said they had overdone the naan and asked if I wanted them to remake it. Naan was not at all burnt so I took it as it was and tasted fine. Nice they offered as some takeouts would say nothing and serve you a burnt naan (from past experiences) I would order again from here.

I’ve been going to Rondhon for years at various addresses and it’s always been brilliant, though this year it’s gone downhill. Most times I order it’s late, but I draw the line at being shouted at down the phone by a delivery driver ordering me to open my gate and shouting asking how long I’ll be. Funny that the order was late on this occasion but he decided to shout at me for not teleporting to the door to collect. Not ordering from here again, I’ll find somewhere else.

First time going here and it was lovely. Very tasty and meat was tender. I will be going back again.

2 hours to deliver cold food which obviously been stood for a long time which was ordered upon opening time midweek... items missing upon delivery and when rang to complain put on hold for 10mins so gave up, don't use if you want deccent hot food delivered on time.

Since moving to Derby over a year ago we've really struggled to find an Indian restaurant/delivery service that cooked lovely food, delivered it hot, and adjusted the seasoning for us. Rondhon ticks all our boxes, the garlic mushroom puri starter is to die for!!

While I was collecting my food, I had noticed that the food hygiene certificate was out of date, the star rating was out of date.

APPALLING! DO NOT ORDER! Ordered food on a 60 minute delivery. 2 hours and no sign of it. Driver called and mumbled that he couldn't find our house number after 1.5 hours and never showed! Refund refused. Lesson learned will never use them again! Should you wish to discuss this review please call me as I cannot reply to your post. My husband and son went to your shop last night and demanded a refund....they returned with £25 cash 2.5 hours after I had ordered. Clearly your driver was utterly clueless...he said my house number didn't exist. I have only lived here 21 years!!!

Have been using Rondhon for 10 years always been pretty good have there off weeks like every curry house but the last 3 orders for home delivery over a period of about 6-7 weeks have been terrible was told on all the occasion the curry would be delivered within the hour all of them were between 1h.45m to 2hrs before we received them and last night was the final straw 1h.50m and cold reheated the food was poor will not be using them again

Lovely 3 meat kebab. They will do whatever meat you require.

Never ordered from this takeaway before lived in the area 12 years.amazing super fast delivery the food was absolutely delicious I ordered tia masala and lamb Bhuna it was made to perfection not oily or overpowered with chilli.it will be my regular takeaway from now. 5 out of 5.

Excellent food, quality and service. We ordered online to collect, was ready in 45mins at peak time Saturday night. We chose two chef specials, naans and rice and all were fabulous. Generous sizes, great taste and I wasn't left dying to need 3 pints of water. Thank you Rondhon. Ps. Recommend the Rangpuri 👌

After waiting an hour for delivery, we were extremely disappointed to find that the entire order was incorrect. Just two out of nine items were correct. We immediately contacted the shop to address this, only to be told they had no history of the order ever having existed. They told us they would call us back as soon as they had traced the order, only to never contact us. We had to contact them after 15 minutes of waiting, to cancel the order completely. There was no sense of urgency or apologies communicated. The delivery driver finally returned to pick up the incorrect order, more than 40 minutes after the initial delivery. This was our second order with the Rhondon that was incorrect. We will never order again. Abysmal.

Lovely food, piping hot, freshly cooked and great taste. Friendly service too. Highly recommended.

Waited over 2 hours for an order they said would be an hour , total liers avoid at all costs , food isnt that good anyway

Great guys and as always even greater food!

First I asked for small chips and then you said it only takes two mins I was waiting an hour and when I looked at my chips they seemed to be dry and they tasted dry. Also the chips was £2.25 I gave you £2.50 and got no change change back. The last thing is that your counter was dirty and when chips had fell out the box because you had over filled it you placed the chips back in my box. I will be ordering else where I do not recommend people going here it’s not what you would expect

Called at 7.30 to order dinner. No answer. Not a great start. I'll be ordering from elsewhere from now on I guess.

Love this place.... the food is so tasty!!!

First two times we ordered were brilliant. Since then we have ordered twice on Friday nights and been very disappointed. Tonight’s was the worst curry I’ve ever had. Horrible peshwari naan, no salad or sauce for onion bhajee (45 minute wait when asked for some) and took 70 minutes to arrive. Shame because it had become our new favourite.

Just finished a takeaway from here took a while to come but worth the wait even my husband had nothing negative to say and he’s fussy will defo recommend

Great food. A great variety of menu to spice up your evening. Try Bangladeshi cuisine.

Lovely food. Consistently good, in fact on the rare occasions we try another takeaway we are always dissapointed. Just about to order a whole Chicken Tandoori which my 14 yrs old has chosen for his birthday meal treat. Sorry Dominoes you missed out

Ordered mixed grill and it was rubbish boiled chicken not even tandoor cooked. Please don't waste money. Nothing more to say, doesn't deserve any stars really. Fu#%^ng sh#*t.
