Food delicious and great portion size Requested bbq base instead of tomato base on the app and they did just that.

Ordered two family size pizzas they arrived burnt and with hardly any topping on , couldn't even see any cheese on the Margherita pizza .

Been ordering from Pizza Kitchen for the past 6 years. The food used to be heavenly! Sadly today was the last time I will be ordering from this place... the food has gone down hill, they have changed the pizza sauce and it has no flavour other than herbs, the chips have changed and are dry and taste like cardboard. The cheese in the crust is horrible, it sticks to the roof of your mouth and has a tacky texture. Barely any cheese on the chips also. Food was cold on arrival and delivery girl was quite rude. Let's put it this way, the food use to be full of flavour and they put alot of love and care into the food for a takeaway, the chips were like McDonalds fries covered in cheese (heaven) and the pizza had so much flavour! Now you have to put so much dip on the food just to get flavour.

Put an order in for £77, think it was disapointing that we didnt get a free bottle of pop or anything, 3 chefs order £15 free bottle, wont be ordering again.

The pizza is great, but that's it. I have tried the burgers, not the best at all, no seasoning and the cheese is tasteless. the desserts are even worse unfortunately, I paid £6 for "cookie dough" it's the same "cookie dough" pie you can get from ASDA for £2.50, tastes rubbish and cheap, and very misleading as its described as "3 pieces of warm cookie dough", it isn't 3 pieces just one rectangle shaped slop of cheap dough, also it is meant to come with ice cream but I didn't get any :) the milk shakes are at best just watery milk with chocolate in them. I don't normally write reviews but I had to with this one, please focus on the pizza as they are really nice and great value, but the desserts really need to be looked at because they are so cheap and tasteless! P.S please read your order notes, and speak to your drivers when they get arsy with me because I haven't answered the door when the status still shows as "preparing", even when leaving a note on the order to "KNOCK ON THE DOOR" as my door bell doesn't work, somehow every time they fail to do it... again it's a shame because their Pizza is so good.

Asked for pizza with chicken tikka on it, it came with plain chicken on it. Pizza tasted disgusting, had 2 slices and gave up with it. Fries are nice but were cold.

Didn't supply items I'd paid for as a delivery as they were out of stock and are refusing to provide a refund. They say they can only give me a credit note - this is theft. I have paid for goods they agree they haven't supplied - a refund is due.

Absolutely disgusted with the large. Arrived Cold, Should have also been 14 inches, but was 12.5 inches, their excuse is that it shrunk, tasted burnt too.. rang to complain but got no where fast. Rival pizza places don’t have this problem. Never ordering for these again!

Dont order on thr app takes your money processes order but dosnt show on their system,2h wait to be told sorry can you wait another 40 minutes.not even offered to take off delivery charge after nearly a 3h wait to then not even get the food in the end.Terrible customer service terrible owner place should be avoided at all cost not worth your time and money

I've always Been a loyal customer to pizza kitchen for years . I've never complained infact it's the best pizza in derby , 2 weeks ago I ordered and didnt recieve a bottle of Fanta or plain chips, I tried to ring straight up to slove this matter but after 33 attempts to get through on the phone I gave up n thought ill just wait till later as it wasn't a big deal ........when I finally got through the manager was rude and ask why I waited 3.5 hours to notify them (wasn't that long) I told him I couldn't get through so just ate what we had before it went cold .... he then said that he would have to check cctv to check that the driver didn't take the pop or chip n call me back next day but 2 weeks on n no phone call ...... I was made to feel like I was lying over a tray chips n bottle ov pop seriously I was only going to say to add it on next time i ordered........ I could understand if I was saying I was missing a whole pizza or chicken but a tray of chips n a bottle pop

Is pizza kitchen still open? I've tried a number of times lately to order food as this is our favourite pizza takeaway but the phone is never answered. we have ordered from another takeaway. Shame as we prefer these guys. Very disappointed.

This place is always so confusing.. order food to be delivered ASAP end up waiting an hour and a half, order food to be delivered at a certain time(hour and half) but it gets delivered within 40 mins. Food is good that's why I have gave 3 stars but there is always a problem forgets drinks and delivery.

Rude staff called Emily Coates I made a complaint on Facebook and was met with sarcastic replies and rude comments back if that is the childish attitude of the staff it says it all

The order had an hour and 10 before it was to be delivered. It was still 30 minutes late and the driver walked on foot so the pizza was cold... And then after I showed the driver the app that said my order had been completed at the time it was supposed to be delivered he denied using any sort of tracker and he definitely didn't say it had been delivered when the shop told him to have it delivered by

Just had pizza delivered for the family with extras and some drinks and gotta be the best pizza I've had that I have not made myself couldn't be more perfect the base was fresh sauce had plenty of flavour cheese was nice jalapenos had fire absolutely bang on

Have used them regular but this time i ordered for delivery took 1 hour and 50 mins to arrive i hour after delivery slot rang the shop to be told was leaving the shop it took 45 mins to arrive and was cold

Sorry to say but just tried this place to see how good it was and I’m afraid it’s the worst pizza I’ve ever had from a so called specialist Pizza takeaway. I ordered Italian base and this was definitely not..!! Far to thick and looked like it had been made by a small child playing in the kitchen at being a chef……pathetic effort with no quality at all. If you like pizza then go elsewhere.

Terrible. Worst experience and pizza delivery I have had. Ordered at around 25 past 8. Originally, the estimated delivery was between 5 and 25 minutes. It was then estimated between 5 to and quarter past 9. After food hadn't arrived at 20 past, I asked for an estimated delivery update 3 or 4 times and received none. More time went by and I rung the takeaway, being told "it'll be at your door any second now." 10 minutes later, about an hour and a half after the order was placed, the food arrived and was freezing cold and didn't taste like it would be nice, even if it was warm. Definitely will not order again and won't recommend to anyone. Didn't even eat half of it before throwing it away.

Standards have improved, food came about 10 mins after ordering on uber eats. Food was piping hot and didn’t taste reheated. Driver was good too🙂 Fastest delivery I’ve had!

Used to be a regular until food came wrong and cold and when we called back up we got told we were in the wrong and they wouldn't be sending the correct order out or refund us. Staff are very rude and accused us of putting hair on food when the pizza came boxed up. Wouldn't even give it a 1 star rating to be honest with you. Gone completely down hill!!!!!

How is this place still operating? Paid twice for our food they said it was my card error when infact it was there system error, manager with no back bone refused to speak to me or refund me , all staff rude, will definitely not be returning to be scammed out of 80 pound for a second time.

Asked for a well done pizza it was floppy benefit of the doubt I ordered again very well done to burnt please ...still the same as if I hadn't asked the bottom of the pizza not cooked not listening to customers shame as ingredients are so fresh and tasty .this was ordered as a thin crust Italian pizza.

Food is great but delivery is an absolute joke and they often get orders wrong . Last pizza I had took 1 hour 45 mins to arrive. I won't be ordering from here again unfortunately as delivery just take far far to long !

This place has gone down hill for me recently. They used to send amazing food within a quick delivery time. Now? They send the wrong food, greasy and poorly cooked food, they forget items and delivery is so long we have to phone to find out where it is and the response is always 'It's on the way'. Don't think we'll be ordering from here again... what a shame.

Please take my advice don't buy anything from this takeaway. I have recently purchased a pizza and small fries and the food arrived at my address completely cold. I ordered from here on Tuesday 12th November.. Not only did the delivery take over an hour to be delivered but when it did the food was stone cold.. Had large chips and cheese with mayo which I usually really enjoy.. The food was so cold that the tiny amount of cheese I had, had turned to rubber and the mayo was non existent.. I used to love going here but I wont he returning after this.. The food was disgusting and inedible

Order two pizzas , chips and chicken, hardly any ingredients on the pizza so rang up to complain and spoke to a women and she was very rude and then spoke to the manager he was also very rude , very disappointed as I order from here a lot and won’t be ordering again

Prices are not particularly cheap but the toppings are always fresh and it's always cooked to perfection. Better than Domino's and Pizza Hut in my opinion.

Rang up as our order was wrong. Wasn’t annoyed at all, I just wanted a simple apology and a new pizza. Instead I got a rude sarcastic girl asking me what I wanted them to do about the situation. Always loved the food from here but this is very disappointing.

I ordered food to my address at 8pm. At 9:15pm I wondered where on earth my food was so I called up to find out that they had delivered to somebody else. They said they'd bring the food to me straight the way for their mistake. I get a call from them saying they are outside at 10pm to find out they were just winding us up. They then tell us they've gave us the food and told us to ring just eat. I'm absolutely furious. We've waited 2 hours for them to never deliver our food. We even gave the driver a detailed explanation of our adress and a code to get in.

Poor Go a couple of doors down to dominoes. Better food, better service.

Great pizza, a good menu, plenty of other dishes to go with your order. Sadly no jalapeño poppers, but the cheesy chilli bites made up from it. Wait time wasn't too bad either.

Probably the best pizza in Derby, certainly the best value. Always fresh, quality ingredients and always delivered hot and within the specified time frame. They also work out the best deal for you, you never actually pay full price.

great pizza however bit disappointed and disgusted by the fact the person who delivered my pizza then added me on Facebook. Absolutely an invasion of privacy and they are lucky I'm not taking it further! Definitely not ordering from there again.
