Perfect Chicken in Derby

They are either closed for renovation work/ maintenance or close for good as there is a collection of mail inside by the door and the windows looked blacked out or there's just no equipment in there now. Can't say I'll miss them if they are closed, the quality of their food had been on a steady downward curve for a while, which is a shame as they did do some good chicken and fries at one point, but at the same time, some burgers I've ordered has shredded lettuce just plopped on top of the bun as if they'd forgot it and couldnt be bothered to put in inside, or if your ordered a calzone, it would arrive pre chopped into 12 or so bite sized bits, with the filling spilling out into the box. So again, I won't miss them. (For a good calzone, go time Letz Eat next door.

Chips taste like bricks and Spotted a human mole that got fried and stuck to my chicken pieces. Absolutely disgusting, avoid at all costs

Wish I'd not bothered. Chips were already cooked and simply put back in frier to warm up. The chicken was similar I suspect but was cold in parts and disgusting. Guy serving clearly didn't want to be there and his top was covered in god knows what. Avoid like the plague

Uber Eats description says food is "served with salad", ordered a kebab in a tray, received chips with donner and sauce, there was no salad at all. There is no option to select if you want salad either and the notes are disabled as well... so food is definitely not "served with salad", misleading!

Ordered food at 19:59 food arrived at 00:49 Texted the driver number they gave which turned out to be the owner at 22:23. He said they already sent the order 2 hours ago, which they did not. Then he rang me at 22:36. Which he tried to say my food was delivered an hour and half ago which it was not. he said he will send the same driver to me and will arrive in a few minutes. Texted him 30 minutes after and he tried to say it was delivered a while ago which it hadn’t. Then my partner rang up, the guy on the phone was saying “well a woman took the order with a kid and she was wearing a pink tracksuit” I don’t have a kid nor do I own a pink tracksuit then he was saying “well what do you expect me to do” and after more talking he said he’d resend the order. Still haven’t received the order. Partner tried to ring again but no answer. So I’ve just texted him asking again where my order is, after speaking he clarified that the driver must of made a mistake and delivered to the wrong address and he apologised, and rang to apologise also saying that the food will definitely be sent out. Food finally received at 00:49, texted the owner to let him know I got it and he was glad and apologised once again. Nearly 5 hours to get food, obviously the owner wasn’t at fault, he sound exhausted bless him. It was the driver at fault. I didn’t receive my dips either which cost £1. But This is absolutely ridiculous, I’ve ordered multiple times before and never had a delivery issue. I’ve had issues with the food in the past not being very edible but that was a one off. The fact that their takeaway is only around the corner as well is beyond the joke. Sadly I will not be ordering from here again. And I see I’m not the only reviewer that’s had this issue. Bad takeaway that really needs to be addressed. Giving a two star instead of one, because the owner was polite and he was as stressed out about the situation as I was. And the food was piping hot and nice.

Food was cold and was not what I ordered complete waste of money. Apparently this is a large donner and chicken kebab supposed to be on a naan not a wrap.. left salad of one kebab. Also asked in the notes for no sauce as there was no option not to have any but obviously they do not read thoes. Definitely will be telling people to avoid this place

When u make an order and u put down for the driver to ring when near or outside our bungalow and they don't do it. So I've made a complaint

ordered 50 minutes before closing time through uber eats, spent £20 and they said the order is on the way after we called them, 2 hours later, no answer from the phone and no delivery. Shouldn’t be a business and they are very unreliable and a scam. Do not order from these scammers.

Not the worst but could be better

Terrible all round. We ordered 2 chicken fillet meals and waited nearly an hour to then receive 4 cheese burger meals and deep fried potatoes, I called up to ask where my food was and was met with an angry staff member shouting at me telling me to shut up and listen to him while he fumbles his way around and eventually saying that "perfect chicken" has ran out of chicken. Truly terrible and will never order there again

Had a meal 4 peace chicken and chips grecey chicken undercooked and u found a hair in my meal not going back here again.

Burnt and tasteless pizza, doner kebab was like shoe leather, it was meant to be deep pan but clearly it's not, overpriced for what it is, won't go there again.

Awful experience at this place. Delayed delivery, soaked packaging, cold, soggy and hard chicken. Not worth waiting for at all. Definitely won't order anything from here again.

Highly recommended one of the best takeaway in Derby

Awful food, asked for a chicken fillet burger and chicken strips, the burger was soggy and somehow the chicken was overcooked at the same time. The strips came in a box with plain chicken one side and the breading/batter on the side unattached to the chicken. When queried I was given only bad attitude and excuses. Terrible customer service and even worse food. Absolutely appalling.

I wouldn't even give them one star they are very rude, they came with the wrong chicken wouldn't change it or refund just got a load of verbal over the phone

Left me waiting 2 and a half hours then they cancelled the order. Was left starving and everywhere else had closed as I waited to get my food from them. Wish I had a photo to post but obviously can’t 😂 Don’t take the order if you can’t produce the food. Glad really anyway, heard the quality here isn’t very good 👀

Just ordered from there about 30 min ago And the food was just disgusting cheese burger I’ve cooked chicken fillets burger was so thick it looks like chicken breast didn’t tast right had too waste it in the bin. Rang the takeaway up to see if he can do something about it he said it’s no his problem and he does care.. Wow what a good customer service and also he said his the owner si looks like he doesn’t give a dam about what his serving to ppl. No quality Discussing food never going back..

Food lovely piping hot everything made for you while you wait had pizza & calzone both lovely.

This was a truly joyous experience. I had a double chicken burger and it was beautiful. Perfectly cooked, lovely spicy coating, just the right amount of salad and sauce. The bun to meat ratio was spot on. I cannot fault it at all, the name Perfect Chicken is well earned!

Absolutely awful customer service we ordered food from here with two bottles of coke they sent the food with no problems but forgot the drinks so I rang up and they began to argue with me on the phone saying we never even ordered them even though I had the receipt right in front of me then continued to put the phone down on me so I spent money for something I never recieved I will not be ordering from this place again.

Poor customer service. Food arrived hot and on time. Problem was I ordered i chicken wrap not a chicken tikka wrap. So I call to ask for a replacement. After explaining to the first guy he passed me to someone else, explained to him he passed me to a third chap. Explained to him that the menu says chicken wrap not chicken tikka wrap he says they don’t do plain chicken and if you order a chicken wrap it comes as a chicken tikka wrap. I explained I don’t like chicken tikka so I would have a refund he laughed at me said it wouldn’t be happening and hung up. I had to put a complaint in to just eat to get a refund. I gave it two stars because the other food was good.

Stay away!!!!!! Very regular customer here and love the food. Ordered midnight Wednesday got my food it was cold and my kebab was wrong. Called at 1.05pm they said theyd re do it but itll be an hour and i didnt want to wait another hour so they said they would re do my food if i ring up another day, Okay great. Rang up saturday told to ring back in a hour, rang back and was told ring back in a hour so i did. 2 hours later no manager in still and was told to ring another day and given a mouthful of abuse. Rang just eat they rang the takeaway and they told just eat it was left on my doorstep as i didnt answer so thats why it was cold. I paid cash so its obvious they didnt just leave me free food! Just eat are investigating it and ill get my refund but i shall never be a returning customer and i will be reporting them. Absolute disgusting attitude i hope they end up shutting down.

The best fried chicken in Derby. Always reliable. Ordered from them over 20 times now and they’ve NEVER let me down. The food and customer service is unmatched and they’ve never been late for a delivery. Would recommend them highly.

Perfectly well disguised I guess as I didn't go in there or notice going past it. I think Google thinks I live in Skyrim or something, I don't actually randomly run into every building I see in real life.

Not sure what happened here. Simple cheese and tomato pizza looks like it's been slammed inside the box and spun in the passenger seat on the way here. Didn't even taste nice either, dough was undercooked and falling apart. Plus side the one slice missing in the photo which I took out was the only good one.

Absolutely disgusting customer service, tried to cancel my order 10 mins after it’s placed, was yelled at and told the foods already left the restaurant, which was impossible and untrue We waited outside for 15 mins, called the restaurant again and again were repeatedly told the driver was outside. I was told by the man on the phone that he simply can’t cancel the order and he will send the food and leave it outside somewhere or with my neighbour if I am not at home Appalling customer service Shouting and yelling. Will never order from here again.

Delivered food to wrong address and left it on a doorstep. When rang to ask about it they told me they left it outside in the pouring rain and they wouldnt send me out new food. Worst place ever

Perfect chicken is the worse takeaway ever. Doesn’t even deserve the one star. It’s an appsolutely last resort. Soggy chips, doner like leather, what bit there was of it. Arrived cold. Avoid this dirty place to save urself disappointment

The customer service from this place is disgraceful. When our order was delivered we rang to say we had missing items it took another phone call and 30+ minutes for them to be delivered by that time the rest of the food was eaten. Will not be going here again
