Nice bar with plenty of room. Decent pint & food looked nice. Went as a group of couples & had a good time. One of the group, 'Mandy' went for a large poo & said the women's toilets were nice & clean. It took 3 flushes to go but went eventually. Her husband Martin is a plumber & said the pipework was fantastic. Would recommend

Called in last night and it was extremely busy. There was a young lad working on his own behind the counter. He was really helpful and polite, despite the crowd queuing. He deserves 5 stars! The food and drinks were lovely too.

Always greeted with a smile and a friendly face. I've had many meals from kebab, burger, lots of pizzas đ. The value box's are great, you can sit in, pop in and get a takeaway or ring in and collect your order. They also deliver.

Went for afternoon tea, food and staff were lovely, cafe could do with a touch more cleaning, (I put my long coat on the back of the chair and it got black marks on it from the floor.) The staff were very attentive however, and food was incredible all homemade, very impressed with service and food, will definitely return.

Myself and a colleague visited Desi Tawa Derby 03/11/21 whilst staying in the area for an exhibition, weâve walked past it to other establishments several times and now we wish we hadnât, nice greeting straight off good explanation of the menu and suggested dish for us to share and O yeah it was goood !, we had the Tawa share platter for 2, bahjees, chicken wings, sheek kebabs, naans, chips, a lamb and chicken curry, it came with some taste dips too, we left fulfilled but not stuffed, they donât do alcohol or offer corking we didnât care the meal was that good, try it you wonât be disappointed

I called in to collect a family member from a regular activity ran by one of the fantastic groups operating from the Derby Dance Centre. Ahead of my schedule, hungry, I took the opportunity to branch away from the homemade cake faire and coffee and order from the simple but extensive memory. I haven't eaten a fish finger sandwich for decades, but the thought of acid tartare sauce, vinegared chips swayed the choice in this direction. Without a real clue about what was to be presented from the chalkboard, I ordered at the counter, quickly served and was served at the clean table! A delicious bloomer sandwich, buttered tatare, crispy salad filling to flavour wrap the 3 fat fish fingers, rocket salad garnish and skin on fries. It was delicious, filling and great value for money at ÂŁ6.50 having been made to order. A large flat white at ÂŁ3 complimented the lunch. Lovely staff keep this venue bubbling along with intelligent conversation and a personal responsibility invested in the DedĂĄ dynamic.
