First time ever been here can’t fault the service tables best iv even played on clearly looked after staff friendly prices very good for a city centre establishment defo be coming again

Don’t spend your money here , you will find John at reception who will pretend as if you they are doing charity here. You want to come to spend quality time here it’s better to spend your money somewhere else and don’t waste it here.

Very bad , Attitude, specially john trying to be racist , we order table as we do in routine , today he try to threat and over charge per person, even we are club members , he is such rude

John is the most rude person. All other staff is helping but whenever he is there he tries to create an issue. It looks like i made a mistake to get membership here. I was coming twice or thrice every week and was booking snooker for three hours. Will go somewhere else now and spend money there.

The prices are cheap but it's always so cold. Now the weather has turned, it hasn't got any warmer inside. Okay in the summer but you want heating on now. I found it too cold to play darts.

Great place for a game of pool and few pints. Only complain is they made me get a years’ membership to play pool which is okay but I got no receipt for it or proof of membership

I recently had an extremely unpleasant encounter at the Corn Exchange Derby that led me to cancel my membership. My experience with one of the staff members, Tom, was beyond disappointing. He treated me in a disrespectful and demeaning manner that completely soured my impression of the establishment. During my visit, Tom's attitude was unprofessional, rude, and completely unacceptable. Instead of providing assistance or addressing concerns, he chose to speak to me in a manner that was condescending and disrespectful. As a result, I felt humiliated and disrespected, leading me to promptly cancel my membership and seek a refund. I believe that every customer deserves to be treated with respect and courtesy, and unfortunately, this fundamental principle was severely lacking in my interaction with Tom. Such behavior is not only discouraging for patrons but also reflects poorly on the establishment's values and customer service standards. I hope the Corn Exchange Derby takes this feedback seriously and implements measures to ensure that no other customers face similar disrespectful treatment. Improvements in staff training and a commitment to respectful customer interactions are crucial for any business to thrive.

Great club if you're into pool, snooker or darts. Reasonable priced bar

Only been going an handful of times but really enjoy it. Staff are always very friendly, special shout out to the girl with the long black hair. Parking around the back free, tables are cleaned and looked after. Can be cold during winter time but the place is so huge it would be hard to keep it warm these days with the cost of living. Altogether a good place to play pool for a few hours.

Went here with a group of friends and have never felt so unwelcome in a place before. Nor have I been spoken to so poorly by a staff member in my life. If I could give 0 stars I would. Everyone had to sign in with their details and pay £1. If you didn't sign in and pay, you weren't allowed in the pool table area at all, just the bar area. So if you didn't want to play, you couldn't even sit with your friends. The bar woman with the longish black hair was aggressive and extremely rude. Some of us hadn't been there before, so were confused about what we needed to do. Partly cause she was essentially barking information at us, instead of actually explaining. We were quite uncomfortable about having to leave our personal details just to play some pool. The bar woman was clearly aggravated that some of us were taking a few minutes to decide what to do, so she quite rudely asked us what we wanted to do. She was trying to hurry us up, and not even attempting to be polite about it. One of my friends didn't want to leave their details, and the bar woman, asked, with quite an attitude, So you're just gonna sit there then? It was like she was having a go because they didn't wanna pay and leave their details. Not long later, after that friend had left cause they didn't want to stay, after being spoken to like a piece of dirt, the bar woman snapped at me to ask me where my friend had gone. As if it's any of her business. She'd be able to see if they were in the bar area. Completely unnecessary attitude and question. I felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable. I would never go there again because of that employee. Horrid attitude. Ruined the whole vibe of the place. Her negativity filled the room. She needs to be trained on how to speak to people. Her awful attitude has driven us all away, some of whom have been going here for years. Her attitude is a business killer.

I haven't been for a while but from past experiences it's amazing and the staff are great. But my question is do you still need to be a member to play? The last time I came I had to fill out a form

Not great. Expensive considering it's mostly pool tables, which are facing each other so you get people bumping backs whilst setting up/breaking, music tonight was a hefty mix of roadman and chav classics with the N word thrown in often with expletives, not exactly music you can enjoy whilst playing, unless you're still living in your mum's place wearing hoodrich. Also the prices arent really that good considering Roxy's in Nottingham is similar prices for tables that are better spaced and why have tables with the same ball return for the white ball, you spend half your time fishing for it. A lot of the cues are also missing tops so you're limited for good quality cues, no real incentive to be a member of you have a mate who is. It's alright for what it is, I guess.

Nice place and staff but some disappointing advertising, there's a loyalty card poster where 9 visits gets your a free hour with a loyalty card - it doesn't exist ....and then adverts showing it's £5 an hour, it's not, it's £6.

Came to play snooker. We asked politely to turn the music down and instead they only slightly turned it down which was very distracting. Eventually we asked them to turn off the music and then they put the sport channel on very loud, very disturbing while playing. Terrible service. Been coming here for 14 years +! Very disappointed after today.

Had a lovely time here on Sunday, it was such a memorable evening! Came with some friends! This lovely girl was working the bar and served us, black hair and had some lovely cargos on! She was very polite and it was great quick service!

Best place in derby to play pool . Very friendly staff and the table can't beat beaten for quality . 3 hours for £10 and it's well worth it

Great place for cheap pool on good tables and nice beer at a good price. There is one member of staff who is rude and obviously needs training in customer service. But this doesn’t. bother us because I get beer and pool!

First time visiting and our expectations were exceeded. Very clean and great value for money. Food was great and staff were lovely. Good quality pool tables and plenty of them, so we didn't have any troubles getting a game. Will definitely be visiting again.

Good to play pool table, snooker. £5 for an hour is quite affordable. Environment is bit lively. There might be a wait time of around 20 minutes during peak times. The food is bit costly inside.

Found this to be an ideal spot to watch the Champions League Final recently. Huge high quality screen, decent bar, ideal for what we wanted. On the pool, snooker and darts front they've clearly spent some good money doing the place up since the days when I used to go down as a teenager and play a few games. Really quality looking establishment with decent tables and some nice looking boards to chuck a few arrers on. If what you see above is what you're after, this will hit the spot for you for sure.

The best place to play pool in Derby city centre. There plenty of English style pool tables which seem well maintained along with a few snooker tables and plenty of darts boards if that's your thing. The table prices are very good, and they also show sky sports. Can be busy in the evenings.

Way too busy at times to have a good game of snooker...made worse by bad table layout where you have to ask ppl to move their chair so you dont smack their face with your butt (cue also) and tables are fast but poor quality as the balls bounce all over the place....nice to go out with friends for a laugh but for snooker theres better....much better..
