Lovely place; the food is reasonably priced and tastes great, the staff are lovely, and the design is quirky and fun. The Bowling is a lovely touch, and the family had a great time! Genuinely gutted the place is closing, I hope when the economy is back on its feet the owners can do something just as great again

Ordered takeout, order was wrong. Received the wrong dish. If you spend over £24 free beer didn’t get. Collect & you get free onion bhaji didn’t get. Called spoke to 3 different people. Said they would refund, had to give them my address but the lady couldn’t hear me. Gave up & ended the call. Will never go back. The food is edible but nothing special.

The food is good, staff friendly. HOWEVER please check your change. I bought fish and chips paid with £10 note and only received 70p change! £3 short of what I should have received.

Pub meals but nice..Staff are friendly a nice Family Pub

We were so pleased that merrimans has startet take outs again. We ordered two meals which were ready on time, just the right portion size, perfectly cooked and delicious to eat at a reasonable price. The menu is extensive and is bound to be popular with discerning diners. We highly recommend.

We had our second meal from Thai House Takeaway tonight. Another beautiful, tasty and good value meal cooked to order for us. We didn’t know what a treasure we had on our doorstep. We will certainly be regular customers, with the quality of the food, and friendly, helpful staff.” Thank- you again!” For a lovely meal. We look forward to trying other dishes very soon too. The food was ok, must have been a specials evening as not much to choose from. They seemed understaffed and busy, service after we got our food was poor. The chips were excellent, possibly a new season local potato, the desserts were also very good.

Excellent, fresh flavours and authentic tasting Thai food. Friendly, accommodating staff. Very busy, every table was full on my Tuesday evening visit. I wasn't expecting much, having viewed the website and some reviews, so I was thoroughly pleased. The Som Tam was so good, I was tempted to pick up the plate and drink the juice/sauce.

Absolutely amazing! Abit confusing that the sign is still that of the old owners ‘Boston Spice’ but the food was unreal. So reasonably priced as well with a 3 course meal each for both of us and alcoholic drinks, all priced just over £50. Customer service was also top notch. If we weren’t just visiting Boston for a mini break for a few days this restaurant would definitely be a regular! Nothing bad to say whatsoever. 100% worth a visit.

Lovely venue with atmosphere . Repeat visit for our group . Planning and any changes is so easy to organise with the team there . Food great and such a good choice . We had 16 in our group . Food at same time and hot . Team are attentive . Thank you all and we ll be back soon .

We followed the reviews on Tripadvisor and ordered a take away. I found the telephone interaction positive and helpful as I'm not from the area. We got our food but we didn't enjoy it. Mine was a little bland and needed salt and the lamb was tough. My wife's was the same, tough chicken. I guess each kitchen cooks differently and we didn't enjoy it. Clearly others do.

A Amazing 5 nights our host Karen was a font of local knowledge.. Spotlessly clean modern style room, great shower, TV and proper coffee in room (not just a kettle and sachet of instant).... Food... What a breakfast all local produce and large portions.. The Haddock Florentine and Prawn pasta will be long rembered.. wil lwe stay again Oh yes..

This little pub was recommended to us by the caravan site we were staying at up the road, unfortunately the kitchen had been closed down so there were no food, nice selection of cask ales 3No and watching the locals get drunk was the entertainment, local dog friendly pub.

On the night we had food from here the queue was out of the door. This shop has a cafe in the back so service can be a bit slower than usual. They were also managing phoned-in orders and 3 staff absences. CASH ONLY. Cashier took 4 or 5 orders then food was cooked to order. Ours was good not greasy like previous reviewers. Cod £4.95 large chips £2.95 so no complaints about pricing. Would use again.
