Here’s a review tailored for Tappers Harker in Long Eaton, assuming it’s a pub or bar: Review: Tappers Harker, Long Eaton Tappers Harker in Long Eaton is a fantastic, unpretentious gem that’s perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a quality pint or an expertly mixed cocktail in a relaxed yet lively atmosphere. Located just off the main street, this charming spot feels like the kind of local haunt you’ll want to return to again and again. The interior is warm and welcoming, with a rustic pub vibe that blends traditional features with modern touches. The wooden bar, cozy seating areas, and ambient lighting give the place a comfortable, no-fuss feel, making it ideal for everything from a quick drink after work to a leisurely evening with friends. The drinks menu at Tappers is a highlight. They offer a great selection of craft beers on tap, as well as a varied list of spirits, including some fantastic gins and whiskies. Whether you’re a beer enthusiast or a cocktail lover, there’s something here to satisfy any taste. The “Tappers Old Fashioned” was a standout—perfectly mixed with a balanced depth of flavor that showed off the bartender’s skill. The rotating guest ales are always a fun option, and the local beers they feature often make for an exciting tasting experience. Food-wise, Tappers Harker doesn’t disappoint. The menu features classic pub grub with a few unique twists. Their hand-cut chips are perfect, crispy on the outside yet fluffy on the inside, and the gourmet burgers come highly recommended. If you’re after something lighter, the homemade soups and sandwiches are fresh and satisfying. One of the standout features of Tappers is the friendly and attentive staff. Whether you’re a regular or a newcomer, they make sure you feel welcome and are happy to offer recommendations based on your preferences. It’s clear they care about the experience they provide, and that goes a long way in creating a comfortable, enjoyable atmosphere. Tappers Harker is a wonderful addition to the Long Eaton pub scene. It offers a relaxed setting, top-notch drinks, and excellent service, all at reasonable prices. If you’re in the area, it’s well worth a visit—and if you’re lucky enough to be a local, it’s easy to see why this place is a favorite.

One member of staff was more interested in her friend and her phone than the customers. While the other girl was running round dealing with customers and clearing tables. We had eaten our mains ordered dessert they had arrived the table still hadn't be cleared. She was to busy talking on her phone and to her friend. We asked for the to be cleared at which she just rolled her eyes, her friend stood commenting then they went to the room were the glasses are washed and continued pointing at us. When we got up to leave the waitress and friend stood by there table continued there school girls behaviour. We have been long term customers and have never been treated like this disgusting

Stayed over for business. Bed rooms are old and carpets worn in some areas. Beds are hard…very hard! Gym pretty non existent, tiny and old bits of kit Lifts are a real pain and once you have stayed a few times you’ll get to grips with the two lifts and no stairs! Staff are friendly but the bar is expensive … be prepared! As is the food which is average!

Went for the rugby. TV turned off and no one came to fix it. Very upsetting experience. I won’t be coming back for any important occasions…

Afternoon meal in the Billy Peverel before a T20 match at Trent Bridge later that day. The Billy P is one of several thousand Wetherspoons establishments dotted around the UK. If all the lights were turned on in every Wetherspoons in the UK at the same time, when viewed from space, an outline of a sausage and a fried egg would be visible. If you squint, apparently. Still, back to business... It must have been a busy day in the pub by the time we arrived. Most of the plates and glasses were still dotted around the place, waiting for the Wombles to arrive and tidy them away, seemingly. The dreadful carpet was exceptionally tacky in parts and the pub just felt like it needed sterilising. Our food arrived after a medium length wait, a chicken strips meal and a wrap with chips. It was almost hot, but reasonably well cooked. The chips were a tad stodgy but passable. The meal filled a gap and we headed out the door, cricket bound. Nothing to write home about but we've been in FAR worse places.

Absolutely disgusting prices , we ordered two sandwiches one bacon and egg on normal bread and one bacon and sausage and was charged £19.68, we could have a bacon sandwich in the Ritz for this . After ordering the sandwich we were asked to stand outside on a very cold windy day. How rude after robbing us with the prices of a normal sandwich . This is daylight robbery and we will never ever eat here again .They also advertise a breakfast sandwich on ciabatta at £5.75 ?????? . Why was we robbed
