What a hard working team!! Both when quiet or busy, you are treated well and the food as quick as possible. Coffee ok. Prices good. Three sausages in my cob also 😋

I started coming to this cafe in 2018 when I worked across the road in the business park and now in 2024, even though I don't work on the business park anymore I'm still going, both on my lunch break at work and in my free time. This has to be my favourite cafe. Never had a bad meal or experience here. The food, especially the Thursday Lasagna Special, is amazing! Such good value for money and so tasty. So much choice for food, staff are so friendly and accommodating. They have seating, so you can sit and eat in as well as take away. I constantly recommend to all my friends, work colleagues and family and will continue to do so. I will continue to be a regular customer here for many years to come. Thank you to all the staff for everything, they all are incredible.

Ordered food and once ready brought up to us upstairs. Shop was really busy and you have to be careful with your times so that the queue isn't too scary.

Banging food and £5.90 for a full English breakfast including a cuppa!!

Lovely staff, friendly and appeared to enjoy being at work. Nice breakfast, menu said 'full English' but was missing the fried bread & black pudding but I'm sure if I asked they would probably have it somewhere for an extra cost. Was glad that the price for a 'full English' included a drink.

Prices are dearer than what's shown on the menu board, either that or the staff can't add up properly, ordered a sausage sandwich and chips, the sausages were a mixture of being rock hard, or stone cold. The chips (with salt-about 3 granules, give or take 2 granules) were soggy and just warm,before i finished them they were cold....very poor,probably the worst cafe food i've ever had, as i'm typing this the food is turning in my stomach,Never again, avoid.

Just been here whilst waiting for our entry to Lumnarium. Lady before us had her change thrown at her. Tables dirty. Mocha and coffee dreadful. Shall not frequent again!

Average food for ridiculous prices. They are currently charging 10p per salad item (Lettuce, tomato and cucumber) to "spread the increased cost onto the customers". This is completely outrageous as they are clearly just greedy and making more profit from this, it's just not possible to justify a 10p increase PER ITEM when the cost of the amount they put onto each portion probably doesn't even exceed 2p. Personally I find it insulting that they are taking advantage of their customers like this. If they want, I can give them a personal tour of Morrisons and hopefully they will realise you can buy a whole lettuce for 50p (Probably enough for at least 20 average sandwiches, 50 if you take into account their portion size). Probably not be eating at this establishment again until they sort this blatant disregard for their customers. Also, they've stopped the meal deal because the "price of coke has gone up", last time I checked there's more than just coke available in that fridge (water for example) but more on this subject another day.

Only been the once but had a salad box here and it was pretty good! Great location on Sherwood Park, parking outside and the prices aren't too bad. Very friendly and helpful staff. Well recommended.

Great little place tucked away in the business park. If you're looking for a bite to eat to take away or to sit down with something a little more substantial, it has you covered. All sandwiches are made fresh and to you liking with a variety of filling choices. Pastries, hot food and cake are also on offer. They have specials for certain days of the week, sadly not every day. The staff are friendly and very welcoming, making you feel right at home. There can often be a long wait if you go during the working week lunch hours and service can be a little on the slow side in terms of managing it. It can also be a little confusing going in for your first time, so be sure to ask the friendly staff. Overall if your in the area and want a fresh bite to eat that has a home made feel to it at a reasonable cost, you should certainly stop by.

I was very dissapointed with this cafe and the cleanliness of the cafe, plates were left everywhere with boxes piled up around the room. Upstairs is freezing cold and they can't put the radiators on so make sure you take your coat! The staff were very rude and talk to you in a bossy manner, I appreciate they are busy but they are still providing customers with a service. One male manager came up to our tables and shouted at us abruptly as one of our gluten and wheat free friends had not purchased food from there. He was agressive and unappreciative to the fact that the rest of us had probably spent £20+ And the fact that they don't offer any range of gluten or wheat free products! She was told to eat outside in future whilst he slammed his hands down on the lunch she had brought. Also, we couldn't have any of our first choice food as you have to pre order everything. Not a good cafe at all!

Really good fresh sandwiches and salads as well as hot food which varies with lasagne, chips, jacket potatoes pasties etc. Fresh fruit salads and drinks. Friendly service. Can eat inside or takeaway. Bit busy at times but staff work quickly.

We came to see the Frink sculpture exhibition and stayed for lunchGood coffee, excellent soup, great bread, friendly efficient service made for a pleasant experience looking over the lake.One star deducted for the automatic doors directly onto the lakeside path. In summer I imagine that the through breeze may be very welcome but on a rainy, windy February mid-day the blast was cold and blew paper napkins around.We moved to the entrance by the ticket office for our delicious pear frangipane tart and blackcurrant and almond tart. If these are made inhouse I should reinstate a starWe must return in summer :)

Yo en coche a este café cada día de trabajo individual para recoger todos en el almuerzo de la oficina, a pesar de tener varias furgonetas cob_nup parar justo fuera del edificio. Las chicas que trabajan allí son siempre muy amables y hacen un gran esfuerzo para recordar los nombres de personas y pedidos regulares. Ellos muy eficaz cuando se llena y muy organizado y lo que es más importante, sigue siendo amable y educado al mismo tiempo. Las colas son a veces bastante larga, pero no te desanimes como es imposible tomar mucho tiempo para ir porque realmente rápido. El pan es siempre fresco y la comida caliente está siempre perfectamente hecho y muy sabrosa. Cuando tenemos clientes en nuestra oficina, siempre pedimos nuestros buffets de Lakeside, ya que son muy baratos, un montón de variedad, calidad siempre fresca y muy buena. Pedimos un montón de veces y Lakeside nunca nos decepcionó. Nuestros clientes están siempre encantados con la comida. Excelentes precios. Aparcamiento exterior también es nunca un problema. Pequeña cafetería genial y me gusta : visitas )

Lovely location, right in front of the lake next to the University of Nottingham campus. We had tea with a scone and latte with a muffin. Both were good and the price wasn't too high (£5.50).The weather was great and we enjoyed sitting at the tables outside.

No sé lo que es el problema con la persona que nos dio el comentario anterior pero yo cenamos aquí regularmente y siempre he tenido una buena comida si hace calor o frío. En lo que respecta a la parte de arriba de la iluminación le pregunté que el problema es y nos enteramos de que trabajan en un sensor de movimiento que está estropeado y programado para reparación. En cuanto a las colas a la hora del almuerzo, parece que una gran proporción de personas tienen su almuerzo al mismo tiempo inevitablemente la demanda es mayor en este momento. Otra vez hice la pregunta y estoy confiablemente informó de que están buscando personal para cubrir el almuerzo. Botella de vinagre tiene manchas causadas por una marca diferente de vinagre a la normal usualmente tienen y no se podrá utilizar de nuevo. Personal desplazarse rápida y eficientemente.
