Krispy Krumbles (Hucknall) in Ashfield

Usually we pick up but tonight we had a delivery. Took over an hour and 20 minutes, it did say it could take up to an hour, but we expected it to be less than that, as we only ordered a milkshake, a waffle and a sundae. We’ve got a hot takeaway much quicker than an hour and 20! It was nice enough but I wouldn’t wait that long again and would probably pick up in the future like we did previously!

Food was good but service was slow

Took longer than an hour for 2 milkshakes and some donuts, asked for a fruit shoot for 3 year old 3 times, had to go and complain at the counter. After the hour, Donuts came out covered is warm chocolate, WITHOUT A FORK OR SPOON! 3yo had to eat it with hands and it got everywhere! Everything came out one at a time every 5 minutes, staff were ignorant.. only good thing was the food. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Very nice food from here, when I ask for extra chocolate on my stuff too they're do it for me (which no other dessert place has done for me). makes it more enjoyable for me and I'm glad they can do this for me :) makes it my favourite dessert place

The milkshakes were delicious and the delivery came early the estimated delivery was 14:55-15:55 but came at 14:36.

The indulge waffle made me pregnant. It’s that GOOD. I’ve ordered it bare times even when there are grave consequences of spending that much on the little money I have. Absolutely obsessed

Very poor experience. The menus are incorrect pricing when I queried this after paying more than stated on the menus I was informed the menus are old despite them being scattered and given all throughout the restaurant. The manager Taha honoured the difference but told me to find an alternative place to eat next time due to me bringing up his mistake with the prices in the first place. This was incredibly rude as they did not accept their mistake with the menus and were rude. After waiting for 30 minutes the desserts finally came out one by one ever so slowly. My ice cream was missing and Nadia was very ill mannered regarding this to myself, this is not the service I expect for paying £30 for 6 less than adequate melted desserts. Later on we asked for a take out box as we hadn’t been able to finish our churros in the negative environment that we felt extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable in due to the service we had received. We were informed it’s £1 for a box and £1 for a plastic bag. Absolutely ridiculous that I paid more for the churros than expected due to the menus being incorrect and now have to pay £1 for a cardboard box. When I questioned this further the staff became extremely aggressive rude and shouting as this was going on 3 men from the kitchen also came out intimating myself a young women with 4 aggressive men shouting at me. This was an awful experience and I would avoid at all costs. Will not be visiting again as I deem it unsafe environment with arrogant staff!

Been Twice Now. One with my son, one without. Both occasions the food was amazing, the coffees were good too. And the staff are very kind and patient. We had a great conversation about life. They were so nice to my son too. I'd recommend anyone to go just before cinema, like we did last night. Great value for money. Fantastic Dohnuts, Churros and ice cream 🍦 yummy 😋

We had an amazing milkshake and hot chocolate in lovely surroundings

Ok so I'd have scored this higher but it's got bad practices and food. We ordered a latte and a milkshake for the boy and a dessert platter to take home for my wife and other son to share as we had been out all day. Paid near £30 for this yet when I glanced at the menu it shouldve been £25. After quering was told the prices had gone up yet all the tables had the same menu on and online I was informed the menu prices had changed and the new menus would be here next week. Probably should've told me in advance of ordering then. Milkshake was great, coffee took a long while as they had turned the machine off 2 hours before closing and was nothing special like my machine at home (about £4 and it was a generic bean from aldi or lidl which are about £2 a bag). Headed home taking the £20 dessert platter in a pizza style box. With 2 ice creams, pancakes, cake, sweets, churrros it was supposed to be amazing, i didnt check it as it was warm and wanted to get back. It was absolutely drowning in chocolate sauce and I don't exaggerate when I say drowning to the point it was literally all you could taste. Over the questionable microwaved rest of the desserts. So it's getting 2 stars from me. 1 is for the milkshake and passable ice cream. 1 I am forced to give. Will 100% not visit again nor order from. There's much better for the same if not less of the price.

Popped in for ice creams. There is an over whelming smell of dirty frying oil. The waffle cone was soft and some ice cream felt gritty (frost bite).

Order never shown up, will inevitably become a failed business as customer care isn't their priority.

Customer service is poor at best, we were the only people in the shop and the guy forgot one of our desserts. Shop has no atmosphere and the coffee was tepid. Desserts were ok but nothing to write home about

Me and my friend wanted to try this restaurant for the first time and we were really excited! First of all when we walked in there was no one to be seen, so we questioned whether it was actually open or not, then we went up to the counter, as we didn’t know how we were going to be served, after 2 mins a guy comes up to us, didn’t even say hello and just stares at us, I asked how we were going to be served and got a really blunt answer! He left us feeling really awkward so we left, really disappointing! Bad customer service!

Food was beautiful, service was great, I'd definitely recommend eating here.

Usually order from here and have 0 problems. Today they took 2 hours to deliver and when we rang to ask where it was they were incredibly rude.

In the past I have used this shop and the deserts where great. But I ordered a desert at 8-30 tonight, at 8-31 I had a email from the shop accepting the order with a delivery time of between 50mins and 60mins. I phoned the shop at 9-45pm to find out where my order was, no response, no email telling me where my delivery was and the shop has now closed. Now I have to chase the shop for a refund tomorrow. There are lots of desert shops in Hucknall and I will now use another one instead. Very very bad service and a very unhappy customer

Went to this place for the first time yesterday and it was such a lovely experience. The restaurant is really cosy and quiet which we loved. The lady serving us was very attentive to our needs, smiley and very kind and welcoming. We ordered a mix of pancakes, crepes, churros, French toast and a milkshake and every single item was truly out of this world! All freshly made, tasted amazing and we truly enjoyed the food. We'll definitely be back!

Pudding was frozen, asked for replacement, same one was heated up and given back to me. Toilet was filthy

Had a cookie dough delivery from here. It was perfect and not too sickly like most places are!

Best puddings I've ever tasted its just a shame on how long you have to wait for them..over a hour for ice cream is very annoying but can't falt their food

Absolutely amazing this is by far the best desert cafe in Nottingham. The portions are a healthy size and at a good price too. The staff are very friendly and actually willing to help. I can't wait to come back again. You must try this place.

It was really a great place. Something different and fresh. From the beginning only. Last time I was there coffee was undrinkable, no more milk cakes... Totally disappointing

SO I HAVE ORDERED FROM HERE BEFORE AND THE FOOD IS USUALLY VERY TASTY, I ALWAYS ORDER THE SAME PLAIN JANE WAFFLE AS ITS LOADED WITH FRUIT AND THE WAFFLE IS SO SOFT. HOWEVER ON THIS OCCASION NOT ONLY WAS THE FOOD TERRIBLE, BUT THE DELIVERY TIME WAS SHOCKING!!!! IT TOOK 1HOUR AND 40 MINS!!!!!! TO DELIVER 1 WAFFLE AND 1 ICE CREAM SUNDAE!! THE WORST THING WE ARE ONLY 0.6 MILES AWAY, HAD I KNOWN THEY WOULD TAKEN THAT LONG (AFTER ORDERING IT SAID MAX 50MINS) ID HAVE GONE DOWN MYSELF, I CALLED 4 TIMES AND EVERY SINGLE TIME I WAS TOLD - THE DRIVER HAS IT AND HE IS LEAVING NOW, OH THAT WASNT YOUR ORDER YOURS IS LEAVING IN 5 MINS, OH THE DRIVER LEFT 5 MINS AGO AND HAS YOUR ORDER…. ORDERED AT 9.05PM AND RECIEVED IT AT 10.40PM!!! 40MINS AFTER THEY CLOSE…. AND TO TOP IT OFF IT WAS HORRIBLE… MY WAFFLE WAS SOLID AND THE FRUIT ON IT WAS SOGGY. IT SEEMS IT WAS MADE AND HAD BEEN SITTING AROUND FOR A LONG TIME!! VERY UNHAPPY AND WILL NOT BE RETURNING SADLY… ILL JUST USE THE OTHER DESERT PLACES ON OTHER DELIVERY PLATFORMS…

The first time we ordered from this place we where really happy with the food quality, taste and nice and warm, but the last 2 times we have ordered this place has gone really down. Last time the creps where cold . Last night we thought to give a Last try and the food was horrendous, the creps there was no filling inside just folded with chocolate drizzling on top ,one of the creps was overcooked and so hard that it was uneatable we had to chuck it in the bin, the banofee sundae was just uneatable to it was i small banana underneath with on top a massive amount of tasteless vanilla ice cream with a little bit of toffee drizzling on top, the only thing it is was ok it was the brownie churros. unfortunately we will not be ordering anymore from this place. An advice to the owner is to do a better training to the staff as they all do the food in a different way to learn them how do the food the same and that they learn how to do hot food so that customers don't recieve cold food.

Originally I was very happy about a new café open till late. Last time I was there we were served coffee which was very weak and tasteless – what a shame especially that on previous occasions it was really good. Milk cakes, which were really great, are no longer on offer. Total disappointment.

Amazing dessert. 😋 The donuts were fresh and warm, chocolate cookie dough warm and goey, and the cheesecake was the nicest we've ever had. Beautifully packaged too. Big portions enough to share. Def nicest dessert place around!

The chocolate brownie bomb milkshake tasted heavily of strawberries and brownies. The bubblegum Sundae tasty and fresh. What let whole thing down was the staff waitress on her phone while I waited for my food, staff shouting and arguments in the back and language unprofessional.

They brought the wrong order out twice, and waited over half an hour to be told sorry for mixing the orders up, it doesn’t take 35 minutes to make a cookie dough which is all we asked for, really bad service.

The food is lovely and very filling. The probs are quite large which justifies the price. Only downsides today were the little flies floating about and getting in your face whilst trying to eat.

Lovely decor and environment. One of the best milk cake I have ever tried. Highly recommend and will visit more often to try out their different specialities. 👍👍😃

Very pleased to have a cafe/dessert shop in Hucknall which is opened till 10 pm. Very neat and clean. Good ambiance, friendly staff, excellent customer service. We had ordered Milk chocolate cookie dough, Strawberry and Vanilla sundae and Churros served with nutella sauce. All desserts were absolutely divine. Will visit again for sweet treat! 10/10

Ordered the platter from here for the first time tonight. What a rip off half a waffle tasteless brownies 4 small pancakes pic and mix was afew marshmallows cheap rubbish products would never try these again totally cheap mass produced cakes could get better in the supermarket.

Definitely recommend this place as I myself will someday come back again. Went here with my mom and little brother today. We ordered regular churros and premium ones, “Go Nuts” waffles, a cappuccino and a cup of green tea which summed up to under £25, in my book this is an amazing deal considering the size of our order. The staff were kind enough to fulfill our special request and also prepared plain mini pancakes for my little brother. All of the food was absolutely delicious and my mother said that even the cappuccino was surprisingly good. The experience in whole was 10/10, the staff are so nice and friendly, they made sure we were comfortable and had a good time, even asked if we needed the ventilation to be turned off because they noticed we switched seats. The interior of the cafe is so BEAUTIFUL and cozy, it felt very homey as well as it smelled lovely I personally love that the cafe is open more towards the evening instead of the morning.

Me and the family went in on a Sunday at 12:10. We ordered: Cookie Dough all flavours in one dish Cookie Dough Ferrero Rocher 4 pcs churros Milkshake 1 hot chocolate Mocca So let me start with the interior. It's beautifully put together. From tables to chairs and even the marble floor, it's a class that Hucknall needs in its small shops. One of the main reasons we wanted to try this out was just seeing the interior when passing. We were second to arrive and all the tables were filled within the first hour. We enjoyed the food and the presentation looked great. The all flavour cookie dough dish was much bigger than the Ferrero Rocher which was strange. Especially with only a £1 difference. The hot chocolate wasn't hot enough for me but the taste was lovely. The Mocca didn't have much of a chocolate taste, in fact they may have forgotten to add any. Or maybe the chocolate they use doesn't have a strong taste so they may need more. The milkshake was lovely, but covering the glass in a caramel sauce is not necessary in my opinion, I don't like sticky fingers. Our biggest criticism was the timing. Everything came out at different times. Sometimes 5 minutes apart. Please don't be put off by this in visiting. This is a new shop and it takes time for staff to get their timings in sync with each other. From kitchen to front of house, they will work it out eventually. They did a lot of apologising to customers as we weren't the only ones but again, it takes time. We will visit again after our much needed Krispy Krumbles inspired diet.

Simply cannot fault this place! The food is incredible and you can tell it's homemade. All of this is topped by the beautiful decor and very friendly staff. A must-visit!

Visited here yesterday with my family as a treat for the kids. The shop is really nice and fresh and clean and we sat in to eat. Can I just say how great it is that there is so much choice on the menu it allowed a choice for all of us including the fussy eaters! We ordered a mixture of pancakes, churros, cakes, milkshakes and hot chocolate. The wait between ordering and getting our food was a little while, but I totally understand these guys are still finding their feet and working as best they can so we didn’t mind! All the food was amazing the kids loved it! The presentation of the food was beautiful and not just thrown together, they all said how nice it tasted and there was nothing to waste at the end! ( I could only get one picture before they all started to demolish them!) The customer service from all the staff was great, they were conscious of keeping the tables clean and tidy and ensuring everyone was happy. Will absolutely be returning again soon when it’s time for another treat! Thank you!
