I was looking forward to dining here as a coeliac but the service I had wasn’t exactly accompanied with a smile. The gluten free pancakes that I ordered were delicious but unfortunately they clearly were not gluten free due to the terrible reaction I had later on that day.. very disappointing. Even though I confirmed with the waitress that the pancakes were gluten free!

Lovely cup of coffee, but inside is disgustingly dirty! white hand rails to toilets, thick with black grime, toilets filthy, looks like it has not been cleaned for about 50 years! dont understand why it not been shut down on health and hygiene issues! If thats the public view, thank god i never saw in kitchen!!

Love the Cafe, the staff were great but the food wasn’t worth the price. A full breakfast is £11 and really quite small with sausages cut down the middle(easier to cook but they lose flavour) bacon that appeared pre cooked (crisp but also dry suggesting cooked through earlier then reheated to order) a lump of raw tomato which was fairly tasteless and felt warm but not cooked (if tomatoes are great & full of flavour fine, but when watery & poor quality they need to be cooked thoroughly to reduce water content & increase flavour) some warmed up beans which were fine and a fried egg which was slightly over. Also came with toast. £11 isn’t a lot these days for a full English & I would happily pay a couple of pounds more for better quality produce cooked with more skill. This breakfast just seemed to be relatively poor quality produce warmed up to order,

We stopped for lunch and what a good choice it was. There is plenty of seating and lovely staff. The Gentleman that served us was very helpful with the menu. They were very accomodating when I asked for the spaghetti dish to be changed just for me. Thank you and excellent value for money.

Called in dead on opening time today as I fancied fish and chips after my walk, and was warmly greeted, and my fish was cooked to order. When the food arrived, and I took a bite, well... quite simply the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. The chips were crispy, the fish batter was light, couldn't fault a thing. I just want to go back there right now! Just go, you won't be disappointed!

Lovely service, dog friendly (always a bonus). We were seated and served quickly. Very welcoming and friendly. My friend asked for cheese & tomato sandwich on multi grain bread and I ordered jacket potato with cheese & coleslaw. The sandwich came loaded with cheese, with salad and crisps and the potato came with a small sprinkle of cheese and a small spoonful of coleslaw and it felt a little mean as toppings were £1 each!
