Monday evening and not a table to be had inside or out tells you everything about this venue so glad we booked, yes they could have done with more staff however the team were very efficient so friendly if they were stressed it didn’t show we were asked many times if everything was ok. The service was very professional food was excellent and all served with a smile it was delicious a great evening highly recommend We certainly will be returning

My friend took me for a birthday treat today. I chose quiche and chips. For £12 I was really disappointed with both the portion size and quality of the food. Served on a black slate I received a very small slice of quiche which was very mediocre and hard to cut and a very small portion of around 10 small french fried style chips, they tasted of cheap fat. The good music vibe and the fact there was hardly any other customers in there made it a nice space for a catch up and chat with my friend but I would not risk another visit based on food quality and lack of value for money.

We had lunch here today and was very impressed. Very nice atmosphere, great service, and the food was excellent. The staff were very polite and friendly. Highly recommend.

Family had a lovely carvery. Gammon was to die for. Staff were welcoming. Nice, quiet and clean. Guy carving the meat was very polite and chatty. Will be back again soon.

This is a small restaurant, but a little gem. We had a weeks holiday in Hope (1.5 miles away) and had 3 meals at the 1530. The menu was varied and interesting. Between the 2 of us we had 6 different mains and every one was good. I especially enjoyed the Red Snapper - don't think I've ever had it done quite like that, so well done chef! The staff were really friendly and helpful. The 1530 also had draught Stones bitter on which is unusual for this sort of venue. If we're in the area again we will be sure to visit. The restaurant is quite small, so you do need to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere, friendly staff & good food. They very kindly fitted us in early as we hadn’t booked. The food is varied & everything we chose was very tasty. Would recommend a visit.

Nice pub expensive drinks for Skegness though

We went there last year and this year in August. Last year we would have given five stars, this year just four. Prices went up, but quality and creativity wasn't as superb as the year before. Somehow imagination and passion are lacking a bit.

Always wonderful food and can guarantee hot and there is a great menu choice, may have a little wait as items are cooked fresh

We stopped here on a visit to Castleton as we thought it looked lovely on the outside and we fancied a pizza. We chose a table outside and I went in to get some menus. I was met with a questioning look, which felt uncomfortable but the waitress said she’d be out to take our order. A group sat down next to us and someone came out to take their drinks orders but ignored us. We then waited a few more minutes but no one came out. We appeared to be the only two tables outside, so it was very odd. We decided to leave and went next door to the Rose Cottage cafe, and had a delicious meal!

called in at the last minute on Friday as my friend and i had just arrived for a weekend in Woodhall Spa and were famished. Meal & staff was excellent, will certainly return when next visiting such a lovely village.

Definitely one of the best chip shops in the area. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and the chips alway fresh and well cooked. This is definitely a place that I’ll be revisiting.

Fantastic food onion rings amazing we had our dog with us so sat in the dog freindly part which we were very pleased about thanks, however, the table needed cleaning and the menus was sticky great shame
