Great breakfast Menu, yummy breakfast freshly prepared. Had the eggs Benedict this time had French toast first time. Found the compote a little sweet for me but my personal taste. French toast generous, cooked perfectly. Eggs Benedict creamy Hollandaise and flavourful ham! Mother's day lunch was delicious, great staff and atmosphere. They had a magician who came to the table, which was fun. Feel very spoilt by my family.

My vanilla milkshake was some oaty froffy gunk that I finished in like 3 mouthfuls for 4 quid. The soup was just water and a super noodle spice packet, and some man reading a book was looking at me funny

Proper jackets, nice staff, great portions - perfect. We used to get jackets from this place around 30 years ago, and they’re still as good as I remember them! 🥔🧀

Popped in for ice creams and to our delight spotted GF cones. No big deal if you do not have Coeliac’s Disease, but if you do, so many everyday treats and ordinary foods are not available to you. Even more impressed when the scoop was washed before serving us. Simple things these but it made a huge difference to us and I am very happy to give top marks to the Mermaid for being aware and considerate. We will return.

We were recommended to come here, it’s small limited seating- we’re lucky to get a seat by the window. Good quality, freshly cooked, no nonsense breakfast. What’s not to like.

In a tiny kitchen the chef conjured up a bowl of delicious bean and vegetable soup. It was a generous portion served with chunks of toasted sourdough bread and piping hot. Just what we needed after the chill of a November day. The little restaurant is in a quirky indoor market opposite the Turner gallery on the sea front.

Had a lovely lunch at this pub on St Patricks Day. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Warm fire on cold days and lovely outside space for the warmer days. Highly recommend.

Best Chinese in cannock, food very tasty big portions, salt and chilli gonna last me a week highly recommend u try it. Lovely lady owner as well

Very slow to get 1 portion of fish and chips.

Had told some friends about it and entertained the idea of having lunch there but I didn't know it was not in business anymore.

I found this place on the map, it felt like an independent island, so I went there out of curiosity. There are many yachts for sale moored in the lake. The outdoor location is very comfortable and feels close to nature. The coffee tastes average.

Lovely Sunday lunch, good prices and very friendly staff. We have been quite a few times and it is always nice. Try it if you can you won't be disappointed.
