Went for Sunday Roast and it's the best in Petts wood. Absolutely delicious, Bravo !

The tapas was well seasoned; the chocolate cheesecake ; should have been called a choclate mousse.

A fantastic addition to the high street, great variety of tapas and all very tasty. I like the changing menu, always something new to try. Friendly staff too and good atmosphere.

I was already a big fan of this restaurant - the tapas is excellent - and was interested to try their Sunday roast. I went on the first day of this new menu and, quite simply, LOVED it! There were a few nibble type starters available - olives, padron peppers, almonds, bread. We had the sourdough bread - this came toasted with an alioli sauce - very tasty! The main course choices were beef, chicken, lamb cutlets or a vegan wellington. We had the chicken and lamb - both were served with roast potatoes, roasted carrots, parsnips, broccoli, yorkshire pudding and gravy. All superbly seasoned and delicious! Good portion size too. We didn’t have desserts, but saw others tucking into cheesecake and churros. Next time! The staff were fantastically welcoming as always! Laura, kept saying words to the effect of “It’s our first day doing this…” - no need to justify anything Laura, you’ve already aced this! Pricing is well pitched - £19 - £21 per person for main course, depending on your choice of meat. Well done Laura, Danny and, of course, the brilliant Spanish chef, Freddy! Already booked to go back next week!

Authentic Spanish Tapas dining experience, superb atmosphere, outstanding food with lovely staff giving an impeccable service, even the ambient Spanish music playing topped it off! Not expensive either. Had dinner here with a friend who frequents a tapas restaurant in Ibiza and he said that Senor Tapas' food exceeded that! A lovely cool Victoria Malaga was on draught too! I will be revisiting next month with the wife and i cant wait.

Unbelievable food,brilliant atmosphere and attentive staff. Coming from a Spanish background and tried various tapas restaurants all over london this ranks extremely highly. Every dish had amazing flavour,I could recommend every dish if I wanted to but the Adobo was the pick of the bunch,will definitely come again😊

Amazing food, friendly service best tapas in the area.

The food is a little bit expensive but you can tell effort has been put into each dish. The cheesecake is unreal, staff are friendly and alcohol tasted great.

We came just as they'd decided to wrap up early, however very warm service. We ordered the chicken, chorizo and some other plates. Everything was delicious, it was a great touch the warm sourdough in olive oil and sea salt! We dipped this in the remaining juices of the tapas plates! We shared the basque cheesecake and had a sangria and San Miguel. It came out to around £60 for two people, which is good. We'll be back to try the churros!

We were sat at the back on a long counter, which was fine for three of us. The waiting staff were really friendly and we enjoyed a laugh or two with them whilst ordering. The food is displayed on a blackboard and, honestly, it's hard to know what to pick when everything sounds amazing. We were guided before we ordered too much, but still ordered more as it was delicious. The sangria is fresh tasting and goes down too easily. We will 100% be back

Senor Tapas is by far one of our favourite places to eat out, the vibe is excellent, as is the food. Love that staff too. Soooo wonderful!

We went there by chance and were surprised by the atmosphere and vibe. The service was lovely, with some great food.

FOOD ALLERGIES AVOID!! If it was possible to leave zero stars I would. After making the manager aware of my walnut allergy we were served a pudding with walnut. The manager took no responsibility and advised me in the future to just avoid all nut which I found to be very patronising! She was reluctant to take the service charge off of the bill or even apologise for almost landing me in hospital! Avoid if you have any sort of allergy!

Visited Señor Tapas for the first time yesterday evening for my birthday celebrations with 5 friends. The food was tasty, plentiful and affordable, we kept ordering more because it tasted so nice. The staff were warm and friendly and made our experience really enjoyable, look forward to visiting again soon.

Wanted it to work but very disappointing. firstly too noisy the acoustics are all wrong and tables to packed in. the food is overpriced for the small portions. How can you get bread and allioli wrong i hear you ask. 3 small pieces of toast drowned in a horrible green paste covered in rock salt nothing like allioli. Allioli should be white in a dish so you can add the sauce to your liking. the garlic mushrooms was covered in sherry that’s all you could taste and mushrooms very poor quality, only could eat 3 mushrooms sent back asked for garlic mushrooms which was refused . Also had the king prawns in garlic that again was covered in an unpleasant paste, only 4 which was nearly £11.00. I”ve lived in spain for 5 years so know what to expect. Gutted because there’s a market for it but this is not the place.

Enjoyed this place, really tasty food but it's a bit pricey for tapas, Had 5 dishes which tasted great and a few drinks between two, just make sure you ask for some papas/potatoes otherwise you'll be like us and buying a sandwich from Sainsbury's next door afterwards.

Great service, nice place. But they really need to get the calamares better, it was not juicy at all, and quite tasteless. The croquettes, the tortilla and aubergine where great though so I will definitely be coming back for more. Also, some really good wines!

Good ok. Service terrible . Ordered starters and mains, at 1 hour 55 we have 5 mins. Still not had two of our mains. Asked to speak to manager but was avoided until we were presented with the bill told we could sit by the shelf at the side. Did not get two of the mains we ordered but they tried changing us for them, no chance of desert. As well as trying to charge for items they were unable to supply that also added a service charge. Really disappointing. How can you have two-hour sitting if you can not supply your orders in that time.

We visited on a Tuesday night recently when we were finally able to wrangle a rare child-free evening. We'd heard plenty of word of mouth reviews that it was super tasty, so we were quite excited to finally see for ourselves. We were certainly not disappointed. The staff were super friendly and very attentive. The food was amazing. Came out quite quickly, and there is definitely something for everyone. Plenty of meat-free options for those inclined. Personally I quite liked the chorizo and the croquettes, though really, there wasn't a single dish we didn't enjoy. As we went on a Tuesday night, it wasn't insanely busy, but quite a few people arrived at the same time as us, so there was still a nice buzz. I'd imagine the weekends would be a lot busier so well worth making a reservation. I'd definitely recommend a visit if you like your tapas. I'm looking forward to coming back.

Despite informing at the time of booking we had a baby and were bringing a pram when we walked in we were rudely whispered about by the staff and to eyes rolling from the staff and manager. This was for a seating at 18:30. The manager asked us to move the table mid meal to accommodate extra walkway room for other guests. Which is fine but made us feel unwelcome as could have asked prior to serving our food. During our meal we had to change our child's nappy despite walking in with a pram and booking in advance with the notification we were bringing a baby, we were not informed that there was no changing facilities meaning we had to change our baby on the toilet floor. The food itself was delicious but to add to the already unsettled server experience, the manager then told us "don't want to rush you but my next customers are here for this table so if you can wrap it up" despite us patiently waiting for someone to take our dessert order and having to ask ourselves if we can order dessert and our total sesting time only just past 90 minutes. Overall food was fantastic but the experience and service from the staff made us uneasy and put a real downer on our first experience here. Advice for the establishment would be to either inform that you don't want children or to cater more respectively for those who do book with children. Alex

Lovely evening - decent house white, excellent staff and great Churros and Croquettes! Only complaint would be there being no printed food menus, only a (partly illegible!) chalkboard several metres away with no allergen/ingredient info (especially for menu items in Spanish where some might not be aware of the components/ingredients). Although felt very authentic and an enjoyable evening where there are no other decent tapas places locally. The chicken was very well seasoned!

Definitely was better than we expected, having gone to Spain and had tapas was easy to see this was looking and tasting authentic. Food came out very fast, drinks were good the sangria was delicious. The only grievance we would have had was that the potatas bravas were a tad too salty.

First time at Senir Tapas, and it was fantastic. The food was wonderful, and the staff lovely it was a great evening and we will definitely go back.

Staff were very friendly and attentive. The high tables are too small for a group of 4 to actually eat and drink at. Food was disappointing and expensive. Hopefully these are teething problems that can be resolved but at present it’s more of a bar with snacks than a restaurant

Have wanted to try ST since it opened - love the fact the menu changes regularly . Visited with two friends last Friday night , we had a great time. The food is very fresh and tasty , the service was excellent - especially considering how busy it was. Will definitely be coming back - we’re lucky to have such a lovely spot in petts wood.

Amazing food, all around good experience

The quality of the food totally exceeded our expectations, so delicious. Service was really quick despite the restaurant being full when we arrived. We were in and out within an hour. You definitely need to book as it was rammed even on a week day - tables are also quite close together, but this didn't really affect our overall experience. The atmosphere is ok - but honestly when the food is this good that sort of thing doesn't really matter. I would love to see just a few more vegetarian options. Definitely will be back.

Absolutely loved it here I went with a friend for my birthday and was so happy the service was amazing especially our waitress Laura she was so friendly and attentive the food was really good the croquette cheese potatoes were mouth watering the wine was perfect and the ambience was fantastic we will definitely be going back….

Fabulous- everything about this place is impressive- the food, the atmosphere, the friendly staff - only one complaint- it’s not in Chislehurst!

My friend and I visited last night, a lovely location in Petts Wood. We adopted to select a range of options from the menu and we honestly thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the food was delicious. We recommend a good 5-6 dishes for two people complimented by a lovely red wine. I do feel that some dishes need improvement but understandable only being a new restaurant which are still finding their feet. I felt the huge disparity between the over friendly owner and the waiting staff who really looked like they didn’t really know what they were doing. We asked plates to be cleared numerous times to be reassured they would be but fell on deaf ears maybe due to it being busy? We would be back but maybe on a weeknight where it would be a more romantic calm atmosphere, it was very loud and chaotic yesterday.

A great addition to the area, filling a gap in the local scene. Packs a buzzing atmosphere, and you are well looked after. Food is good and menu on the board rotates, if a dish is popular that night you might miss out! Prices in line with independent restaurants these days.

Went to Senor Tapas last night with my wife and we sat on a 2 person low table next to the bar. We had a fantastic night, the food was great, the drinks and wine were excellent, the service was perfect and the price was very good too. We would highly recommend this place. It's great to see small independent restaurants so busy in our local area. Petts Wood needed a new decent restaurant and it's great to see it done so well. Well done Senor Tapas we will be back and we are recommending to everyone we know.

We paid senor tapas an impromptu visit and it definately did not disappoint. The staff were so welcoming and the food was as good as any you would find in Spain. The highlight for us was the chorizo and calamari with good selection of wine and authentic cruzcampo on draft. A great addition to the area, can’t wait to come back.

Worst tapas I've ever had, so before any1 else thinks about wasting their hard earned £, heres why... tables are on top of each other, too small, smells of damp, walls look dirty, 0 atmosphere, & as for the food.... 🤢 nice olives but... bread was sparse with no butter/olive oil, chilli prawns had 0 flavour & over cooked, cured ham was tough & almost grey looking, chorizo was fatty, calamari.... drowned in oil - had 1 bite & left the rest. With such a limited menu, each dish should be fresh & amazing. Such a shame! 🙄

Visited over the weekend with friends. Originally booked table for 2, then we became 3, so we were givena high table. Not sure if that was the reason but we we timed, like at same point we were asked to leave or move to the bar to finish our drinks, because new customers were waiting. We had a bottle of good wine and bubbles,so thank you. If I have to be honest we were not impressed with the food at all, unfortunately cannot remember the names of the dishes, but can see from the photos we tried a few only. Nuts were my favourite. Service on other hand, was excellent, super friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was good. For me personally it's a place to have a drinks with some bites rather than place I would take my family for family dinner. Giving 5 starts for the service

Found this place to be awful. Rowdy and lacking sophistication. Our server did not seem to comprehend our orders and we kept on having to repeat ourselves. Everytime the door opened we were met with a blast of cold air. No menus so you had to read a chalk board. Food was fine but not a pleasant environment.

The churros are very authentic with the thick dark chocolate sauce! Ambience was lovely and the house wine was delicious. The fried chicken was too deep fried though.

A perfect addition to Petts Wood, nice buzzy vibe on a Saturday night which quality food and drink with friendly service.

Early dinner in Senor Tapas newly opened in Petts Wood, and lucky to get a table so pre-book! Menu changes daily but most of the usual tapas available. Delicious olives and warm bread, fresh calamari were delicious as were the garlic chilli prawns (3 on the plate good value at £8.50 but could do with more), very tasty tortilla comes with aioli, chorizo in wine lovely and loved the garlicky oil with the bread. Wines, especially the white Akemi Rioja, really good. Decor good. Definitely recommend.

Went for the opening night, great Selection of traditional tapas dishes using lovely fresh produce, class wine list and lovely service in a wonderful setting.
