I was craving Jamaican food as was meant to go to an event which I didn’t unfortunately get to go to so decided to go and order from the restaurant. Ordered the boneless curry goat with rice and peas,plantain and coleslaw plus secondary school cake. To say I was impressed was an understatement. The beautiful coolie sister that served me was soo pleasant and she threw in 2 dumplings as it was close to closing. Flavoursome,fresh and tasty with a smile. Definitely going to be spending money here! Keep up the good Yard food so we can keep supporting and eating real good.

I can’t believe we have not tried this restaurant before. We will definitely return. The food was great and a very nice Turkish lager to accompany it. The staff are extremely friendly and the restaurant is very welcoming.

Ella, Esmay and Sydney provided outstanding service and the Roast Beef was to die for.

I made a detour and stopped at the red lion for Sunday roast whilst driving through Crediton. At £14.50 the Sunday roast was very reasonable priced. The potatoes were very crispy and the beef was cooked just right. The pub itself looked very clean and well maintained. The toilets were kept in a good condition and looked very clean. They had a woodwarm model 51 stove burning which kept the bar area cozy. I took a look at the guest rooms in preparation for a possible future visit and they looked very comfortable. The rear garden looked like a good place to have a drink in the summer. I will definitely call in here when in the area.

Long day , needed some food for me and my daughter after moving into the area - service was great , food was great !! We had salt n pepper chicken, chicken fried rice , curry sauce !! Ace !!

Best curry I’ve had—hands down! Stayed in Barnoldswick for a few nights and decided to try a takeaway from here. Let me tell you, the butter chicken was unreal—so rich, flavorful, and ridiculously moreish. Paired it with egg fried rice and a cheesy keema naan, and every bite was pure heaven. It was so good I seriously debated ordering extra just to take home! Huge credit to the chef—absolutely nailed it. Plus, they’ve got a 5-star hygiene rating, which already puts them ahead of other Indian restaurants in the area. As a curry lover, I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and order from here. You won’t regret it!

Greasy and vile. Chicken pakoras were strips of chicken with tiny bits of batter mixed in instead of the chicken coated. Madras more of a Balti dish. Chips were soggy. Poppadoms were swimming in grease. Rice was nice. Bombay potato's looked like mash and didn't have much flavour. Naan bread was alright but not great. Had to wait 30 minutes for food to be ready. Really disappointed. Binned 90% of the food. Wasn't enjoyable at all.

Nice little no frills country real ale boozer.

Went here today with my friend. Ordered 2 parathas, 1 small plate of channa, 1 very small plate of halwa, water and 2 cups of tea. The parathas were very hard and extremely difficult to chew. The tea was Luke warm, not hot enough for my liking. As for the potion size. What can I say. They were very small and had to be shared between the two of us. We got charged £20 for this meal. Which I think was extortionately high, given the potion sizes.

Bar staff are amazing. Great atmosphere, best place to go in grantham.
