The best restaurants in England

Such a lovely bar made extra special by the staff who are first class. I've had a few old Fashioned's here at different times, usually made by a lad called Calvin I think. Always made to the same great standard. Best in Newcastle for me.

This is by far the best pizza I have had in Virginia!! I liked it Soo much! I ordered a regular cheese pizza and one of thete specialty pizzad the Giuseppe, being that my name IS Joe it was excellent! I did go in for pick up but the dineing room had a real nice decor was clean and well staffed. Please keep up the good work,will try the other offerings soon!!!

Fantastic Christmas Dinner, the staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We were not rushed to vacate our table, we will definitely be back.

Absolutely Awful! I have travelled India and Asia extensively and what was served up was anything but Indian or Asian cuisine. Its appears the food was prepared by someone who had no clue what Asian food should taste like, the Goan Green Curry was inedible and to add insult to injury the meal was very expensive. If you like Asian food this is not the place to spend lots of money!

Working in the area. Popped in and paid £8 for sausage and bacon baguette with a coke. Got back to the job and it’s just bacon. Check your orders.

Dropped in for lunch yesterday. Great value lunch menu - lovely starters of garlic mushrooms and bruschetta and mains of penne 'old style' and penne 'piselli' and a coffee for £20 each. Lovely glass of merlot each (well two for me). Attentive service in a long-established family restaurant.

Incredible! Chloe made the most amazing blood orange and cranbury margarita! And, the statler chicken!!! Best chicken I have ever had!

Best place to have a few Christmas pints with friends. Very cosy seating areas with sofas next to the fire place. Reasonably priced beer (£4.80 ish) for a pint of Butcombe, very good quality / price!

POWERFUL CHINESE FOOD ***** we were staying in the area for the weekend and thought we would try for the first time. Hands down some of the most flavoursome Chinese food I’ve had in a long time! Such a shame I don’t live near this place as it would easily become my regular. Look forward to coming back! We got take away but the place was very welcoming and nice when I went to collect. Keep up the good work 🤤

Lovely pub and an excellent roast dinner! Sinead, Ella and Chloe were all super friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend!

My wife received a box of handmade Danieli chocolates as a gift and has asked me to leave a review, as follows.... "Each had their own unique flavour, with a taste of rich velvety dark chocolate. Presentation was beautiful, in a gold ribbon gift box. Absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend."

Whata fabulous restaurant. We love this place. My wife and I have been twice and both times we have had a lovely time. The restaurant is lovely, the people are lovely and the food has been amazing both times. We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for a lovely seafood experience. See you guys soon. 😁
