Fox & Hounds in Wiltshire

I have been using this public house for 40+ years. The service is always excellent. The toilets are always clean. The person who left the negative review has obviously got the wrong pub. The menu is not vegetarian..... they don't do food. The barman is mentioned.... the barstaff are all female. There is parking, albeit a small car park. Plenty of on road parking outside the pub. Arguably, for me, one of the best 'real' pubs around.

I will never step foot in this place again! One Star If I could give zero stars, I would. Where do I even start? First, the bar lady’s breath smelled like she’d been breathing in laser fumes all day – genuinely made me step back mid-order. Not even exaggerating. Then, as if it couldn’t get worse, we caught the barman smelling my partner’s chair after she got up. Absolutely disgusting behavior. The toilets? Imagine a thousand unflushed shits crammed into a cupboard – that’s the vibe. Gagged instantly. And just to round off the experience, there was a fly doing backstrokes in my pint. Avoid this place unless you enjoy breathing in biohazards and witnessing creepy staff behavior.

We recently visited fox and hounds during a local stay at hunters moon. We found the service great, very friendly & accommodating. The locals were equally as friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area who may be staying nearby and fancies a drink in a pub that offers a great atmosphere aswell as darts boards, sports and plenty of room to get comfortable to relax. Also dog friendly with is a huge bonus for us.

Fantastic pub, beer is always well kept and always tastes perfect. Prices are extremely reasonable too. Friendly bar staff and locals. Rugby and football on the TVs, but the snug is there for anyone that just wants a quiet drink. One of the best pubs in Warminster! Note: I hey do not do food! (but have great bar snacks)👌🏼🦊🐶

Good variety of drinks service, with decent pricing too compared to other local pubs. Friendly atmosphere with sports on the tvs. Nice small outdoor area too.

Trish is so friendly and very funny. I only come in on a Monday while the misses is at slimming world, but I'm always treated like a local. Lovely pub.

Seemed to be a very nice pub, friendly and helpful staff. Didn’t stop there since we wanted to get some food, but they guided us down the road to the George Inn for a really nice lunch. Just to be clear: the Fox & Hounds do NOT sell any food!

Can be busy can be quiet, brilliant drinking spot with good deals every week. 3 stars for food because i never had food there.

Cosy Snug. Main bar can be noisy with two televisions with sport on, so avoid match days. The beer is excellent with some great local ones and local(ish) cider. Staff are always really friendly and helpful. Skittle alley round the back.

A really nice pub 3 real ales on the day I visited all priced at £3.50 and perfectly kept too. Stella Artois was £3.60. Well worth the visit.

We found this pub in the last day of our 4 night break at Hunters Moon. Really wish we found it sooner. Very friendly locals pub, barmaid was lovely too. Prices are reasonable as well. We will definitely be going back. Thank you to the locals and Barmaid for making us feel so welcome.
