Cake Box Salisbury in Wiltshire

Since our preference was egg free cake on this occasion we ordered chocolate fan & flake cake for the first time with cake box. The cake sponge was super soft and cream topping had a perfect sugar. On the whole we all enjoyed the cake and it was dam delicious!

The service was a bit lethargic and as if it was a punishment, people waited for a long time and there was no one to prepare the tables because the young people were gossiping in the corner.

I ordered the food from the Nando’s app and I waited more than hours for my food to be delivered which is I haven’t received any food at all after so many hours they call back to say I need to contact the Deliveroo regarding about my food and my refund, which is absolutely rubbish service they have Very very poor customer service. they’re not issued my refund also they did not even try to send the food i’m very disappointed with the Salisbury branch. They just taking the money keeping my money for no reason they just stolen it.

Me and my partner went out for a meal last night and had an amazing time although it was busy we were provided with not only food but amazing service by Jazz and Marcie who were so polite and attentive and made our experience a good one! Thank you!

Shown to a table by a lovely girl but after that customers are expected to order via an app, not table service. Your food is brought to your table very quickly and the food was good

I visited the Nando's in Salisbury and was told there would be a 15-minute wait. After 45 minutes, I was seated at a table that had been vacant the whole time. When I asked a staff member about it, she claimed she hadn’t noticed it empty. I ordered food for two, but after another 50-minute wait, it arrived cold. I sent it back, and after 20 more minutes, they brought out the exact same plate of food. When I complained, they insisted it was a completely new dish. I turned over the sweetcorn to show I had taken a bite, and they just replaced the sweetcorn cob. To make matters worse, the dish was chipped and hidden under coleslaw, and the area under the table was filthy, with food and used napkins. I paid £44.65 for a terrible experience. Absolutely do not go here!

Food tasted okay but came within 5 mins of ordering and was cold. Drinks didn't come so ended up having to ask for them. Poor cleanliness and rude staff. Staff where incredibly rude, didn't seem to care. Laughing at someone with disabilities. The entire restaurant was filthy, tables covered with leftovers, floor had food everywhere, not sure our table was even cleaned, was sticky and underneath has the previous people's food still under. Staff dropped food right next to our table, just shrugged it off and didn't care. Ice cream and drinks spilt on the floor too, major slipping hazard. Staff where made aware of everything but again didn't really seem to care, only one did and he said he'd come from London to help out and he looked very embarrassed by the state of the restaurant.

Absolutely shocking experience at Nando’s Salisbury I will never go again. We have 5 children one with sen needs and one baby we went hoping for a nice late lunch but was met with attitude and rudeness. We were asked to wait over half an hour for a table when we came back the table hadn’t been cleaned the waitresses were riddled with attitude they constantly kept giving us evils making us feel very uncomfortable. We ordered the food and the food was okay the kids enjoyed it however the waitresses brought out our 18 month olds food with something hanging on the bottom of the plate I pointed this out she went to look and it all fell off the plate she left all the food on the floor walked off in. Huff to get a new meal . There was ice cream and food all over the floor the kitchen was very messy and nobody seemed to care We also had to ask for our glasses for our drinks. Also a young man who had disabilities came in to eat alone and both girls were sniggering T him leading him to actually sit with his head in his hand until his food came and leave pretty quickly after . Hundred pound down the drain will never ever go again. I’m surprised they are still open.

Came for a meal today with my friend. Food was really good and our waitress marcie really made the experience enjoyable. She was very lovely and is a credit to the nandos team

We didn't actually end up eating. I phoned the day before (Friday for Saturday) to book a table for my daughters 11th birthday with friends. There would've been 9 of us. I was told they were not taking bookings and to turn up on the day. We did that to be told they could not accommodate us, even though there were plenty of empty tables that we could have used. We were told we should have booked. I informed them I tried and we then left. I'm really unimpressed with the service we received.

Very slow and not great on service. We arrived and ordered about 45 mins before we needed to be somewhere. Food still had not arrived 40 mins after ordering. Staff not very helpful in resolving the food not arriving. Had to cancel order in the end. We went back for takeaway later in evening as we needed to be quick and pre ordered on the Nando’s app (the app said our order will be ready in 20 mins). It took almost 50mins before the order was ready and we were waiting with a small child for a long time. When we opened the food, after leaving, we found that most of the sides were cold but we did not have time to take anything back. The chicken was ok but a little overdone.

Need the bottomless drinks due to the dryness of the food.

i waited an hour for my food and when we asked a lady in red about our food she said she’ll check on it and never came back to us and we still had to wait 20 minutes. food came in wrong orders (starters taking over an hour) and no one got their food at the same time.

Ordered food, portions are so small and inappropriate for the price, it's a tragedy, no sauces, I stopped ordering some time ago, I ordered it now and I regret it. 😪

Service has gone downhill. We ordered to collect and we were told the food would be ready within 20mins however this was not the case. We got there within the allotted timeframe and we were informed that there was not enough chicken and they had to cook more so this added an additional 20mins ontop of the original 20minute wait time. Poor planning and execution for a Saturday night! When we finally received our order parts of the meal that had been cooked prior were cold and there were pieces missing from our order that we had paid for however we only noticed this when we got home and we had no way of rectifying. Poor service and will not be returning to this branch.

Staff attempted to gaslight me into thinking the coke machine wasn't broken when I could clearly tell it was... Chicken was alright but way too expensive compared to the portion sizes.

We went during the summer holidays so it was busy but the ladies were really pleasant, accommodating and friendly. Thank you ladies.

Over an hour wait for food. The couple next to us waited over an hour and half before asking for a refund and walking out. No apology, we were just told "we're busy, it's coming". Parts of the food was cold.

Waiting staff were friendly but kitchen was so slow that the staff were "waiting" (almost queueing) for the ordered dishes. Took over 30 mins for our meal.

the table and menus were incredibly sticky. we've waited 1.5h for two wraps with some sides, and when asked a staff member how muchonger it will be, they said they'll ask a manager but never did it. empty tables around were very messy and it was taking forever for them to be cleaned up. in the end we went to a pizza place around the corner that server excellent pizza in 6 minutes, with friendly and helpful staff

As l entered the store I was forced to wait even though there were several empty tables because there wasn't any staff waiting by the door. When we were escorted to the table I spotted a chunk of chicken on the floor which should have been obvious to the several members of staff that were supposed to be tidying up after guests. Due to the fact that a member at the table had an allergy we had to order at the till which is reasonable but they had run out of boned chicken which makes upmost of their menu which they never came to collect. When the halloumi strips arrived they were different temperatures, the plates for these dishes weren't collected even when the main course arrived which despite not being busy they managed to get wrong serving us with peas instead of garlic bread. The chicken had no flavour and was just spicy whilst the mash was lumpy and cold. The water dispenser had old water that hadn't been changed recently which changed it's flavour to the point that I had to fill the glass with ice to num my taste buds. During the entire meal there were at minimum 3 members of staff doing nothing who could have been doing something other than watching us eat. So overall I would not recommend going here and would definitely suggest avoiding it if it is busy based on what it's like when it was basically empty.

Normally good! Made me wait for 40 minutes without the phone call offered. Then ordering online inside no 1/4 1/2 1/1 chicken was available when i asked front of house said he would find out and left me sat there waiting for his answer before we walked out. Not good enough.

I was gonna rate this 1 star because most food wasn't available. I was gonna change it to 4 star because the service was great, despite the food. But after talking to the Asian guy who seated us, he stated that due to staffing and delivery issues he had to limit the menu, which is fair enough. I use to work in fast food, so I get it. Great experience nonetheless. Thank you.

Food was good but service is terrible. Me my wife and child was the first ones to sit up stairs and the last ones to eat. 45 minute wait for two burgers and plan chicken wrap. Wouldn’t normally mind but the fact we was the first people to go upstairs and ordered then people started filling up the tables up stairs we was waiting watching others get there food brought to them. We felt forgotten about in the corner and had to ask multiple times. When we finally got our it was nice but not worth the wait. Also took 25 minutes to bring up a kids drink carton (pip organic) not happy as we payed £50!

Terrible service. Ordered for a pick up and got there on time. My food was already in the warmer but for some reason the server said it wasn't ready. Finally pulled it out after about 15 mins over collection time. Haven't enjoyed it as it has gone cold. No single serviette or sauces packed. Dissappointing

Went to Nando’s Sailsbury with my boyfriend on Valentine’s Day, turned up at around 9.50, Was greeted by Josie who informed me straight away that only take away service was available at that late time, which was perfect for me. Even though it was very close to closing time, the service i received was impeccable and the chefs I watched preparing my food , did so with the same enthusiasm and the food produced was of the same standard and quality as ever!! Shout out to the chefs, Cedric, Edward, Leo , but mainly.. josie.. you are a diamond xx

We waited over an hour for our food, and when the food did come they missed two dishes when we asked them when the food would be ready they told us they had already made everything and we had to show the receipt for proof, when our two missing dishes finally came they messed up the order. Worst service ever, do not recommend.

Probably one of the best nandos I've been to. I'm from Leeds and was just passing through. Glad I called here. Good service and quality.

Excellent service... food as you would expect.. Most of all you will appreciate the service everyone knows there job every interaction is with a confident smile and assured competence if I was to open up a restaurants in Salisbury I would be sure to offer all the service staff a Job as they are of a high quality in personal presentation, manners but most of all competence. I appreciated the attention to detail the staff were there to work and work well they did it was clean and you could see that.

No chicken wings, not sufficient sauces available, majority of tables had piles of dirty crockery with little sign of anything being cleared, frozen yoghurt machine turned off well before end of shift so we couldn't order that, generally not good all around. The worst nandos experience I have ever had

Threw away my food that I bagged when I was putting my child in her buggy. I was in distance of the table for them to know I was still there.

The place was clean and tidy. I felt like it was a bit pricy for the quality of food that came out. Nobody came too see if everything was OK with our meal. I asked for the hottest chicken and it had no spice whatsoever which wasn't right. The chips I had was more spicy so I guess they didn't add any spice to mine. Was a disappointment really.

Came in on Friday food was good but staff ruined it, was busy at first and I respect that but by the time we’d finished eating there was about four tables in. staff were cleaning like they were trying to close even though it was 3, we waited for twenty minutes and eventually just left because they had time to mess about with each other (spraying each other with d10) and talk to customers they knew but wouldn’t come to us when we were clearly waiting. Just wanted to know what flavour the froyo was. I don’t normally leave complaints because I work in hospitality so I understand the stress but that was just rude

Brilliant service, interesting menu, quite good value for money.

Lovely food, very good customer service and we were seated fairly quickly! Chicken is always beautifully cooked and the sides are always very nice. No parking around the restaurant but there is parking within 5 minutes which is more than suitable.

Hi I went today lunch with my friend and our children we had very very poor customer service in our table and I asked for a takeaway box and the waiter came and threw it onto my plate while I was eating so I asked the manager for the waiter to apologise but he said that he had a busy day, he was tired and he didn't mean it and the manager apologised as if he were doing us a favour.

Turned away from a half empty restaurant saying it’s too busy.

Nandos Salisbury is Clucking Good!! Great service from a cheerful, friendly bunch of staff! Nice & clean. And for a tourist hotspot like Salisbury, even when busy, the staff always seem to try their best to help accommodate everyone where they can 👍

Relaxed ambient, great staff, great food. The Portuguese liver roll is yummy and the chicken wings are our favourites. Recommended sides: long stem broccoli and spicy rice! Bottomless cold drink available

App would not work and they got our order wrong. No compensation offered for the inconvenience. Same price as the one in Covent Garden in London, which seems insane to me. Food is good though.

Nando's Salisbury has always been a nice resto for us to go whenever we wanted to eat nice grilled chicken. The staff are nice and friendly and the food is always freshly made. The atmosphere is good and the place is clean. The price of food is not cheap but it's not expensive either. Glad i we always have NHS discount.

They can't seem to get an order right. If im eating in, then everything is fine. The moment it's takeaway it all goes wrong. From Incomplete order to burn and spicy garlic bread... or a salad missing ingredients. Very disappointed with this particular nandos

It is a Nando's - you get what you expect.

This is the first time I have been eating a free egg cake . The cake slice is red velvet . You can not tell ,it doesn't have egg in it . Feels refreshing and not heavy, not too rich, neither . The staff were super friendly and very informative. I will definitely come back as I wanted to try the cakes for a while now .

Food was not great. Cook can't even get chips right. Way over done. Took over 10 minutes to replace by which time we had finished the meal. Chicken burger was in a stale bab. This is the problem with paying up front. Service is don't care attitude.

Always good here. Standard Nandos so you know what you're getting. The staff at Salisbury are always spot on; polite, helpful and prompt.

Helpful staff as not a frequent user so explaining the menu options was good especially for the kids! Our selection was tasty and filling! Will pop back again now tried this venue. 👍

Aquí comes pollo con muchas salsas y terminaciones. El servicio normalito, tienes que levantarte a pedir. En el local pasamos mucho frío. No creo que entre en ningún Nando más.
