Just wonderful again
Amazing food and lovely breakfast
Looking forward to our next stay at this perfect location
Too many people are getting to know about it !!!
Went for breakfast as we were visiting the area. I would have never considered a Turkish pita for breakfast, but it was absolutely delicious (great coffee too)!!! Would recommend 👍
Had a great Sunday lunch here, and super cheap.
Fully served to your table.
Tons of food on my plate: 4 roast meats, stuffing, roasties, huge yorkie, parsnip.
And then came the sharer sides: cabbage, swede, mash, mushy peas, carrots, cauliflower cheese and gorgeous gravy.
Apparently you could have more veg if you wanted.....we didn't want, we had way too much already, yum!
Highly recommend
I ordered sandwich platters, very last minute I may add, they delivered to my door with complimentary sausage rolls!!!!
The sandwiches were delicious, plenty of fillings,so so fresh, presented beautifully.
I honestly can't reccomend enough.
Thank you very much and I will definitely use you again......5⭐
This is a superb cafe, with a good selection of reasonably-priced food. The cooking is excellent and the service prompt. But there are no vegan options that I could see and only a couple of vegetarian choices. This is a real shame; they are really missing a trick here, as increasing numbers of people are now on plant-based diets. We saw two couples walk away today having read the outside menu, saying 'nothing for us'. Shame.
Absolutely delighted to see dukes back up and running with fab decor ,great menu and lovely staff ,totally worth a visit. Was extremely busy so glad we had booked.
The Lorna Doone is a really nice and quaint inn. Our hosts there were very friendly and helpful. We stayed two very comfortable nights while we explored Porlock and Lynton. We also had a delicious dinner there. We highly recommend both Porlock and the Lorna Doone!

Nice and friendly pub.
Good beer assortment.
Good atmosphere for a meeting and drinks with the friends.
Large patio area.
The only disadvantage is no food served, but there are few good places nearby to eat.

Best steakhouse I’ve been to outside of London
Came here whilst staying on business & fancied a steak. 9oz Sirloin was delicious and cooked to a beautiful medium-rare. Fat rendered incredibly well & the creamy light peppercorn sauce was awesome. The Amaretto sour was expertly made, nice touch to ask if the egg white was wanted - shows they’re being made properly!! When I’m next in the area I’ll be sure to return. Thanks
In the throes of Storm Darragh, this wonderful little Cafe proved a warm haven from the gale force winds. Great bacon roll and a tiffin that my fiancée assures me was fantastic this coupled with friendly and chatty hostesses made it an experience to repeat.
