Usually a lovely place for small plates however Christmas menu was so disappointing and not worth the money at all. Went with friends over the weekend, mains were average - poorly presented. Sticky toffee was terrible as powdery; we were told this is due to it being the gluten free option which I think is a poor excuse. Service was okay, some of the staff appeared very young and inexperienced however the cocktails were fab as ever. Left feeling a little sad as we went out for good food which we didn't get on this occasion, will stick to small plates if there is a next time.

Wow! Probably the nicest Indian food I've had outside of Birmingham. Very spicy! Made really quickly. Friendly staff. Perfect.

Simply outstanding!! From the moment you are greeted to happily offering a generous tip " The Shack " in Falmouth is a must for all sea food lovers! The food, the flavours, the portion sizes, the choice, the price.. all just great value! If it was closer this would be our local go to most weekends. Nothing to fault here! Really nice fish and chips always perfect worth the travel

Really nice place. Service was pretty slow. Was asif we had been forgot about a lot of the time. But really nice food

Very quick service and we enjoyed our pizzas. We unfortunately did not get to try any of the desserts, as we were too full of pizza.

A wonderful café, the staff were all incredibly friendly - I believe I was served the smoothest latte in my entire life here today! 20/10 I will always recommend this jaunty joint to anyone visiting Chester for the first time!

We really fancied a fish and chip lunch during our visit to Alnwick but didn't know of anywhere to get any - then we came across Carlos. We both had the meals that came with a 'side' (how American is that?), bread & butter and a drink. Every aspect was brilliant - thin tasty batter, plump fish, (homemade?) tartar sauce and gorgeous chips. The mushy peas were mega too. Unusually the bread was from a Tiger loaf which really went with the food. The food came to the table piping hot and stayed hot to the end. A fresh slice of lemon too. The tea was a bit strong for our liking but it's better than being wishy washy I suppose. We eat fish & chips fairly regularly and these were among the best. Highly recommended.

What a lovely place to stop for a coffee and treat or lunch. The team at the Rocket House are very friend, the food is good quality and the view is excellent. My coffee was Mocha and my cheese scone was delicious. My husband loved his warm sausage roll and Latte. It set us up perfectly for or walk to Sheringham!

Called in on the off chance of getting a meal. 4 adults starters and mains, food was delicious, portions were something else. Only disappointment non of us had room for a dessert.😋 Staff were the most efficient any of us have had lately and certainly knew the menu.
