50s Tea room was stepping a bit back in time. The staff had great customer service, attentive & smiles. The dress & ration books used for the menus has a nice personal touch,with the decor. I had todays special of feta and red pepper quiche with sweet potato fries & hubby had smoked salmon & cream cheese sandwich with chunky chips. 2 diet cokes came to £27.30 A reasonable price. In Market square, Bishop Auckland.

Called in with the idea of watching the a league 1 playoff final at 1pm, before watching the final premier league matches of the season. When we asked at the bar we were told they were unable to put it on because of the premier league match…when I said the premier league doesn’t kick off until 4pm they still maintained because of a ‘new system’ they couldn’t change the channel! Very disappointed!

Had an excellent meal here. The food is very good with an extensive menu too. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the decor is very fitting. A little gem of a place - it’s small, so probably best to book in advance.

A truly wonderful spot for lunch in Chipping Norton! The atmosphere is amazing — cozy and peaceful with lovely acoustic vibes inside. We enjoyed sitting in the garden surrounded by beautiful olive trees, which made the experience even more special. The staff were super friendly and attentive, and the owner, Selahattin, personally came over to chat with us, making us feel very welcome and comfortable. The food was fantastic! The cake was amazing, and the hot chicken salad was a real highlight. They also serve a lovely English breakfast, plus homemade traditional favourites like soups, lasagna, spaghetti bolognese and more…. Also, it’s a very kid-friendly place relaxed, welcoming, and with plenty of space for little ones to enjoy the garden while you unwind. Such a charming place with a warm, relaxed vibe. Definitely one of the most stunning cafés in Chipping Norton. Great food and service here- I had the sausage and mash but when my mum got the steak- it was slightly undercooked so I wouldn't recommend that... But of course the desert was FAB!!!!!! The texture of them all were great and I love the selection! The atmosphere is average because of the car park- otherwise, great!!

We have dined here many times and it never fails to disappoint. The lunch menu was delicious and reasonably priced and the staff were all very friendly and attentive.

Warmley Waiting Room is a consistently delightful spot with lovely, friendly staff who make every visit enjoyable. It's an ideal stop when cycling along the Bristol to Bath cycle track, with a nearby car park off the A420 for those driving by. The outdoor seating and charming railway-themed setting add to its appeal. Highly recommend trying the tiffin and the bacon, brie, and cranberry baguette—both are delicious and well worth it. A great place to relax and refuel, whether cycling, walking, or just passing through.

We came here for a late breakfast for mine and my wife's anniversary. As our kids were on holiday, they joined us as well. Usually we are never disappointed by this cafe, however, on this occasion, we were. The food was mediocre and they even forgot to bring the avocado for my daughter's avocado breakfast, without even a sorry! Not sure why the service and food seemed to be less than usual, but hopefully this is just a one off. It's still a place that I would go again.
