Amazing service, amazing food, good music and ambiance, had a fantastic time!

It is very nice here. The service is excellent, kind and knowledgeable. The menu itself is a little confusing, It would've been good to know what of the sharing menu was cold plates as it was quite surprising to have very cold ox tongue! The food itself was very good. Especially the hake. I give it 4 stars for the service but don't think I'd return, considering other options in Bristol at this price point.

This really was the best experience. If you want an awesome meal, atmosphere and service you must stop by this place!!!

Visited this fabulous restaurant in Bristol to celebrate my nephew’s engagement. Beautiful, intimate restaurant with rustic decor and amazing staff. The food was freshly cooked to order and was pure melt in the mouth heaven. Plenty of choice for vegans & vegetarians. Can’t praise this tapas bar enough

Amazing food in the heart of Stokes Croft.

Had to give up the table after about 90 minutes but I can see why- food is incredible, vegetarian options are great and the atmosphere was lovely. Staff were friendly too and very helpful

The srowded Crafty Eggs further up the street should take notice, the Poco egg brackfast is AMAZING without the lengthy queue in freezing cold. We had the the Poco eggs royal, that includes smoked, locally sourced, trout instead of salmon and it was absolutely delicious. The trout does five a different texture to the meal. If you reading this, go there, you should try it. Viva la Poco Eggs Royal.

We had an amazing breakfast here. Everything is made fresh with top quality ingredients for reasonable prices. Especially the baked beans were delicious.

This place absolutely smacks. The food was so, so delicious. Life changing experience. And I've been on vacation trying farm to table places in London, etc. This 1 was my favorite. Absolutely delicious. I never leave reviews but this place earned it wholeheartedly

Had a lovely dinner here last night as a table of four. Four is a great number as we got to order more dishes to try. We were advised 3-4 dishes per person and we ordered 10 hot dishes, the hummus and two breads but definitely over ordered for our group. Food was great. Stand out dishes for me were the ox tongue and the wild boar croquettes. Both were deliciously braised and rich with flavour. The sauces on both dishes complemented the star ingredients very well. Service was good, the food came to the table very quickly after ordering and kept coming. Waiting staff were nice and friendly too. I thought some of the dishes missed the mark slightly on taste but more personal preference. The collection of dishes sat on the saltier side for me.

Food was fine for what it was, service was extremely slow with no interaction from the waitress, eggs were undone. Bit more customer service training needed.

Delicious tapas! Some fantastic, creative flavour combinations. Lots of vegetarian options as well. My favourite dish overall was probably the Fried Polenta with Aioli, Beet Top Pesto and Old Winchester Cheese (packed full of flavour). I'd also recommend the Oysters, the Roasted Potatoes with Garlic, Coriander and Aioli, the Fried Sugar Snap Peas with House Ricotta and Lemon (my second favourite dish of the night) and finally, the lovely Orange and whiskey cake.

Small independent place; perfect breakfast.

One of my favourite restaurants in Bristol. Dishes are seasonal and so delicious every time. They seated 12 of us in July and treated us so well despite it being towards the end of service.

An amazing cute place with the most amazing service.

Tasty old fashioned with clear ice, delicious oysters, outstanding risotto, tasty boar, delightful after dinner drink and a super yummy dessert. Well decorated inside with solid vibes, funky music playlist, good service, fresh ingredients cooked and salted perfectly. This place gets it and you should too, chill out and enjoy.

Excellent British tapas! Creative and casual.

We recently visited this restaurant and while the food was fairly good, the service was seriously lacking. Our waitress was not very attentive, which was disappointing but not a dealbreaker. However, things took a turn for the worse when we decided to reduce the 12.5% tip due to the mediocre service. The waitress became extremely rude, loudly announcing it to the entire restaurant in a way that was clearly meant to embarrass us. She then grabbed our card and tapped it herself without showing us the amount on the card machine, which felt very disrespectful. To make matters worse, she didn't even ask if we wanted a receipt and just ran off without printing one. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. A little courtesy and professionalism would have gone a long way, but unfortunately, our experience was tainted by her actions. I won't be returning and can't recommend this place to others.

Delicious locally sourced food, great selection for vegetarians and GF. The menu is well thought out and it's noticeable that care was taken to make sure all the dishes are exquisite.

Bristol has a brilliant food scene, but Poco remains one of my all time faves.

Literally have never been to a restaurant where I haven't had any citricisms after until this one! I have no complaints- food was delicious and staff were so friendly. Loved the mussels in the soupy sauce and the venison was the first venison I've had that I actually liked. Amazing vibes as well. Hidden gem in Stokes Croft!

Fantastic food great service felt welcome and comfortable.

Delicious tapas with great meat, seafood and vegetarian options. Caters for everyone! The set menu is very reasonable and you get so much food. We were very impressed with pollock ceviche and the Sole with beurre blanc sauce. Good service and great cocktails.

I'm proper fussy when eating out, I can cook. But this place is outstanding, great ingredients, inspirational touches, just food flare. Not cheap but worth every pounds pence. Knock out fish and staff. Thanks Poco

With the old owners moving on, you need to be quick to visit this staple in Stokes Croft. Locally sourced by design, a great little small plates restaurant.

Good quality food and lovely people! The boar was exceptional

The food was stunningly awful, mostly without any taste and take long time. Cocktails are like hand sanitizers. Staffs talk about customers within a five metre distance. Unreasonably unworthy.

The food is excellent, but there needs to be more variety for those who have expectations of what tapas should be. There are no padron peppers, artichoke or octopus for example. The only seafood I could see was mussels. The restaurant is going for an organic, healthy vibe, so I imagine it's challenging to please everyone.

What’s that food? The place to go if you don’t enjoy eating. We ordered Tapas and the taste was disappointing, which is a shame because the server was lovely and the ambience can work. I also liked the concept of locally sourced and zero waste, but the taste was far from satisfactory, the price not justified. My tastebuds didn’t deserve this. I wonder how the place got such high ratings, definitely fishy!

For the first time, Tapas did not taste good. They are trying to do something different with the dishes but the blends are not working and the flavours is being destroyed. Service and atmosphere was very good though

Always had fabulous food and service here. The set menus slap everytime. Everyone is so friendly and the atmosphere is great. We’ll be sad to see you go from Gloucester Road soon! ❤️

I'm sorry to give such bad review but I have to say that for the price we were definitely expecting more. Like others have said the food is just lacking in substance and the place itself is just way too crowded for its size. My GF and I, we both decided to go for the tasting menu (£42 pp) as it did look quite promising. But looking at how underwhelming the experience was I still can't believe that we paid for that. That tapas that came with the tasting menu were served on the same plate for both of us, and considering their size it actually made me wonder in the beginning if they thought that we had just ordered one tasting menu rather than two. Specially the ceviche and the pigeon salad 😭😂. Be aware of the service charge that gets added into your bill without your consent. You get asked about it before paying but it puts you in a weird position to say no when the bill is already printed. I don't mind tipping if I notice that the service has been great but this one wasn't.

Genuinely some of the best food I’ve ever had. Would recommend for anyone, not a snobby vibe just really cool good food

Small plates/tapas or set menu catering for all dietary requirements - most of items on their menu is gluten free too!! A perfect place to pair great food with wonderful company. Not only did we enjoy every plate, the cocktails were a must too!

So expensive and with no reason... Even for tapas it's extreme. The food is ok at best. It's either too salty or doesn't have flavour at all. It took forever for the food to arrive. The desserts were not tasty at all. Our waitress was very kind and helpful but we had the feeling that we needed to chase them to get service. It is very crowded so it was noisy and hard to speak. I'm all good with spending lots of money on good food, but this is not the case (and the place). Again, very friendly and kind staff

The staff were absolutely wonderful, we had a vegetarian tasting menu with a little venison on the side for me. I cannot remember the last time I had a meal that good.

Flipping delicious menu, good vibes and great service. Just a stellar experience. Went there with my parents and they’re a bit more “traditional” so weren’t prepared, but they said it was “different” but in a good way for them I suppose! Highly recommend for any Bristol foodies, love it.

We went for the set menus on New Years Eve. We were the final booking of the night but never felt like we were rushed. We had a mix of meat/fish and vegan menus and everyone left very full and loving the food. The trout was a highlight with an incredible sauce and mussels. The leek dish was lovely and zesty. The potato side was full of flavour. I'd say the cured mackerel is an acquired taste and I probably wouldn't order again. Also the white wine (first bottle on the menu) was not good. Well worth the £35pp and a really lovely atmosphere in there with friendly staff.

Wow! Got here just after 12:00 on a Saturday and so glad we did it was already getting busy. A really great chilled atmosphere. Staff are all fab, friendly Nd couldn't be more helpful. Food is stupendously good, beautifully prepared and presented and really flavourful. Enjoy an Old Fashioned and Negroni cocktail while we were here, both were spot on. We will definitely be back
