We regularly go to Martha's when we are in Moreton and have been many times. Very friendly service with nice home made cakes and food. The specials each are very unique and wonderful. I recommend the sausage in brioche bun as well as the french toast with maple syrup. Very good coffee as well

The atmosphere at Martha’s is great with some standout foods right in the heart of the Cotswolds. We sat in the patio area out the back and enjoyed our food and coffees immensely. If you’re looking for a place to stop off on the way to Diddly Squat Farm, give Martha’s a go!

Lovely little coffee house in the Cotswolds. Coffee was nice and hot and you must have a toastie. I would have to say it was the best ham cheese toastie I've ever had. Nothing back home ((Australia) comes close to it. Friendly ladies in the house also.

No idea at all why, but we thought we'd drive to Diddly Squat. Once we encountered the 2 hour queues we sensibly thought we'd look for an alternative, and found Martha's - best decision we made all day! What a treat - the food was exquisite, the place was beautiful and the service top drawer. I wouldn't bother going back to Diddly Squat again, but I'd definitely drive an hour knowing that Martha's was at the other end of the journey!

Went in 2 days running Don't advertise full english but they said they can do it. WOW DID THEY all cooked perfect. Great cosy place. Can't wait to head back to the area for another one soon.

Monday 13th May 2024, My husband and I started our journey to Devon. We made a stop for breakfast and a toilet break at Morton-In-The-Marsh. My husband and I had breakfast at ‘Martha’s Coffee Shop’ in Morton-In-The-Marsh. ‘Martha’s’ is in a lovely old regency building. The place was very busy, but my husband and I found a lovely table for two inside the coffee shop which was light and airy. My husband and I sat down and then we looked at the impressive breakfast menu. My husband had a large broche bun filled with bacon and egg with tomato ketchup which he said was delicious. I too decided to have a large broche bun filled with bacon and egg with brown sauce, which was delicious and very filling. My husband also had a pot of tea and I had a large cup of latte coffee, which set us up for the rest of the day. We discovered Martha's some years ago when Dan and the team had just started out, they have gone from strength to strength and it is always a please to return each time we go down to Devon or Cornwall.

Disapointing, very small dining area. Menu is only on the board, which is not easy to read as it is too low. The outside courtyard is a bare uninviting spot. Needs a few plants etc.Breakfast was very average. My sausage was very overcooked. It was replaced but should never have been served in the first place. Bacon was lukewarm. On the positive side, the cappuccino was very nice. Sadly, I do not think we would return.

Martha's Cafe is a quaint, cosy, warm cafe with very homely-vibe situated near to the train station in the main town centre. Loved my pesto cheese tomato toastie, orange pecan cake and hot chocolate. They had variety of hot drinks and breakfast menu options. Absolutely grateful and will definitely recommend 👍🤩🤓

Drinks are made very very nicely, accomodating to diet needs. Little on the pricey side but it is a tourist town.

Four family members and a big dog visited Martha’s this afternoon for tea and cake. The carrot cake, scone and custard tart were delicious, and lovely tea and coffee . The owner was lovely and the lady serving us was great too. A sausage was given for my dog. Always a lovely touch. We were there late in the day, so the shop was about to close when we left. We were given the left over scones, which were going in the bin, free of charge. I would highly recommend this tea rooms, the menu looks great for savoury food, and lovely cakes. Very tiny, very loud! I met a friend for a WEEKDAY catch-up, and it was the worst place ever to choose. We are both local(ish) and had exhausted the other cafés in Moreton and Stow, so I thought we'd give Martha's a try. Never again. The kitchen is in the café seating area and only has seating for 12. There was no privacy, and 2 gentlemen were speaking very loudly. The staff were so grumpy, and the food was overpriced for what it looked like. We decided not to eat here and go somewhere else. To add to the noise, the staff put on music with the volume higher than the 2 gentlemen 'talking'. We couldn't hear ourselves speak! It was exhausting and ridiculous! I really do not rate this place and (as a local) will not be visiting Martha's again!

Such a lovely gem..... Scones (served warm) are to die for..... so lucky to have such a warm, welcoming and accommodating place so close to home..... Will most definitely be frequenting this lovely coffee house again.....

Great spot to find some sun and coffee on a recent cold day. Wonderful bacon and egg roll for £7 - don’t hesitate if you’re tempted. Small terrace out the back door for warmer days. This is my preferred flat white in Moreton.

Popped in, nice place for a quick breakfast. One suggestion - please move the menu higher up the wall as I had to stare across the bloke on the adjacent table when I was deciding what to choose. I was afraid he may have thought I was eying him up ;)

This has been my husband and I's go-to breakfast spot for our stay here in the Cotswolds. Delicious sausage roll and coffee. Fantastic scones. Great service and atmosphere. We wish we could take it with us back to America.

Peaceful atmosphere- staff are friendly but not overbearing. The coffee was wonderful and the prices are decent too!. Would recommend to anyone who wants to have a peaceful sit-down with a coffee.

Martha's is a great little find on the High Street. Staff are warm and friendly. The venue is small and usually busy and has a nice vibe to it. Only negative is I ordered a cold drink with ice. The glass was warm and the drink wasn't chilled and they had no ice. But, the food is lovely. See you soon x

Lovely little sport in Moreton. I had the full English and my partner avocado toast. Lovely and tasty. Superb latte. And the atmosphere is cozy.

What a fabulous little place, it does look very unassuming from the outside, but walk into the front room, or through to the court yard especially on a chilly morning when the sun is out and you will not be disappointed, you can sit out in the glorious sunshine, out of the breeze, The friendly staff come out to you with a smile and the coffee was fab, but the brioche bun with bacon and egg was wicked! And priced reasonably too. Good quality ingredients are being used here, a must visit! Will definitely be back on our next time through the village.

Hidden gem in Moreton on Marsh! 10/10 would highly recommend trying this place out, wonderful homemade food and amazing service! We will be back here again

This used to be a lovely welcoming little shop when Martha owned it. I didn’t get through the door today as they had closed before 4.00pm. I commented that all the shops here seemed to shut at four. I was told they hadn’t had a customer for two hours and couldn’t afford the overheads to keep open. I expect the heating costs were high on this mild May Day! I said I would not return if the shut when they feel like it; too many places these days will open for the visitor rush but don’t support or stay open for locals. So if you fancy a nice coffee and a cake please support Sakura in the little arcade. They DOstay open and are very welcoming.

It's always nice when you can speak directly to the chef, which is exactly what we did as the person I was with wanted a vegan option that he couldn't see on the menu. They were very accommodating, and the flavours in breakfast were excellent. Very good coffee. Good to see a list of their suppliers on the wall. It definitely seemed like a cafe that cares about the quality of food.

yes yes & yes, Martha, the hostess, is absolutely gorgeous, the customers are also gorgeous,there's one in particular. To the older lady in the purple scarf, who sits in the corner with her bassest hound and reads the independent with her English breakfast tea on a Monday morning. I am the taller darker gentleman in the off-white fedora and the yellow polkadot hanky in his jacket pocket. Your man of the night might be closer than you think.... meet me at the war memorial next Monday at 12pm. Maybe I'll change your life.

Had brunch here last week. One of our party has special dietary requirements and Dan & his Mum couldn't have been more helpful. Warm welcome, delicious food and great coffee. Thoroughly recommended.

This was a lovely place with a fab atmosphere and lovely staff and tasty food.

A phenomenal little cafe with a courtyard in the back. The coffee was some of the best I had in the UK, and the food was fantastic (get the sausage bun, you know you want to). The staff are very casual and friendly, and it was a nice mix of regulars and visitors coming through. And if you’re inclined, you can actually rent out the room above the cafe (check out their AirBnB listing).

Scones were to die for. Got the blueberry lemon scone with Brie and red onion jam. Beyond delicious. Also tried the avo toast with feta and poached egg which was fantastic. Such a gem of a cafe and I can’t recommend enough. Everything tastes so fresh and is locally sourced. Brilliant.

Really lovely friendly coffee shop in the middle of this beautiful village. Ordered a scone and coffee - scone was fresh and delicious and excellent flat white. Staff were really friendly and despite the cafe being busy, I was seated very quickly. Will be going back soon!

Just had the worst breakfast in my life bacon unbeatable egg completely over cooked solid soggy mushrooms no beans they had run out no tomatoes coffee ok that disgusted just asked to pay,paid by card didn’t realise till later they charged me £26 for two breakfasts robbing gits I suggest the chef learns how to cook my 10 yr old grandson could cook better avoid …… Reply to your comment… All we were told was you didn’t have beans. My wife left a full plate only ate the sausage only thing edible. No challenge at till. I left half of plate couldn’t eat eggs they were solid the bacon was over cooked to the point you could have broken the plate with it Bad cooking and over priced

Delightful cafe where we often come for their delicious brunch selection and amazing cream teas! Lovely courtyard garden to sit in if it’s sunny and a cosy, cottage feel to the place. We stayed upstairs in a pretty double room for a romantic birthday treat and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and very well looked after. Lovely hosts, excellent service, AMAZING CAKES. We’ll be back!

This is one of my favourite cafes in Moreton-in-Marsh!! They show such an interest in my baby; when she was first born, they even gave me a complimentary carrot cake to congratulate me!! It's such a lovely family business with a great team of people who obviously really care about food and the people that visit. You won't be disappointed!!

Nice tea, lovely setting. Food was good just needed a bit of salad rather than a mound of rocket - not keen on Rocket. Place is quite small and can get crowded due to seating being very close to each other.
