What a little gem on the high street. Sometimes when you order a toastie it is totally taken over by too much cheese and becomes soggy and greasy. Not at Martha's. Crisp, tasty, perfectly balanced amount of filling and not overwhelmed by loads of cheese. I don't do reviews often, but felt I needed to express how much we all enjoyed our time here today

Beautiful coffee house in the Cotswolds. The quality of the food and coffee here was the best I’ve had in a long time. Our family shared some sweet and savoury treats and the kids loved their hot chocolates. The staff were so friendly and lovely. Very knowledgeable about the local area and we had a great chat. The cafe had such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There were even little dog snacks. Will be sure to visit again next time we are fortunate enough to visit Moreton.

Quaint, family run coffee shop in the heart of the Cotswolds. We stumbled across Martha’s while visiting Moreton and were delighted with the coffee and food. Coffee is served with a double shot as standard. The food is exceptional. Lovely mix of classic cafe dishes with some more experimental flavours. Scones are a must and the Bacon, Brie, Red Chilli jam toasty is a taste sensation. Highly recommended

Good :) but could be improved: - The menu is on the wall such that is weird and difficult to look at it because there are people in the middle and it is not nice to stare are them - Small room that is easily crowded and noisy. The backyard must be nice though if it's sunny. - Bread for roasts could be a bit more toasted The place is otherwise pretty chill and nice. The coffee good :) The value is good 👍

We stayed in the airbnb the night before and decided to have breakfast in the morning… how could you not after smelling the cooking below you. The food was absolutely delicious, atmosphere was peaceful and beautiful and the service and staff were outstanding. We had an iced latte each (with oat milk) followed by the sausage, fried egg, emmental and red onion jam breakfast bun (we asked for scrambled egg instead of fried and they happily obliged) and this was insanely good. A perfect start to the day. I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone visiting the area. Locally sourced food that was beautifully cooked to perfection all for a decent price.

No idea at all why, but we thought we'd drive to Diddly Squat. Once we encountered the 2 hour queues we sensibly thought we'd look for an alternative, and found Martha's - best decision we made all day! I wouldn't bother going back to Diddly Squat again, but I'd definitely drive an hour knowing that Martha's was at the other end of the journey!

Monday 13th May 2024, My husband and I started our journey to Devon. We made a stop for breakfast and a toilet break at Morton-In-The-Marsh. My husband and I had breakfast at ‘Martha’s Coffee Shop’ in Morton-In-The-Marsh. ‘Martha’s’ is in a lovely old regency building. The place was very busy, but my husband and I found a lovely table for two inside the coffee shop which was light and airy. My husband and I sat down and then we looked at the impressive breakfast menu. My husband had a large broche bun filled with bacon and egg with tomato ketchup which he said was delicious. I too decided to have a large broche bun filled with bacon and egg with brown sauce, which was delicious and very filling. My husband also had a pot of tea and I had a large cup of latte coffee, which set us up for the rest of the day. We discovered Martha's some years ago when Dan and the team had just started out, they have gone from strength to strength and it is always a please to return each time we go down to Devon or Cornwall.

Disapointing, very small dining area. Menu is only on the board, which is not easy to read as it is too low. The outside courtyard is a bare uninviting spot. Needs a few plants etc.Breakfast was very average. My sausage was very overcooked. It was replaced but should never have been served in the first place. Bacon was lukewarm. On the positive side, the cappuccino was very nice. Sadly, I do not think we would return.

The owner was lovely and the lady serving us was great too. A sausage was given for my dog. Always a lovely touch. We were there late in the day, so the shop was about to close when we left. We were given the left over scones, which were going in the bin, free of charge. I would highly recommend this tea rooms, the menu looks great for savoury food, and lovely cakes. Very tiny, very loud! I met a friend for a WEEKDAY catch-up, and it was the worst place ever to choose. We are both local(ish) and had exhausted the other cafés in Moreton and Stow, so I thought we'd give Martha's a try. Never again. The kitchen is in the café seating area and only has seating for 12. There was no privacy, and 2 gentlemen were speaking very loudly. The staff were so grumpy, and the food was overpriced for what it looked like. We decided not to eat here and go somewhere else. To add to the noise, the staff put on music with the volume higher than the 2 gentlemen 'talking'. We couldn't hear ourselves speak! It was exhausting and ridiculous! I really do not rate this place and (as a local) will not be visiting Martha's again!

This used to be a lovely welcoming little shop when Martha owned it. I didn’t get through the door today as they had closed before 4.00pm. I commented that all the shops here seemed to shut at four. I was told they hadn’t had a customer for two hours and couldn’t afford the overheads to keep open. I expect the heating costs were high on this mild May Day! I said I would not return if the shut when they feel like it; too many places these days will open for the visitor rush but don’t support or stay open for locals. So if you fancy a nice coffee and a cake please support Sakura in the little arcade. They DOstay open and are very welcoming.

This used to be a really cosy cafe where you’d get decent quality coffee, cakes and toasties etc. visited today for the first time since before Covid and I’m guessing it must have changed hands. Espresso was undrinkable ( more like filter coffee) and we only ate one mouthful of the cheese ham toastie - anaemic, plastic ham and cheese. Dont like leaving negative reviews but this is more like a transport caf now which is such a shame. Won’t be back.
