Very odd decor, bit setves a good pint.

Lovely place. Great selection of beers. Cider options needs work. Not as far from football stadium as it appears!

Enjoyed a trip there with a large group. Beer selection excellent.

Its not the pub it use to be. Still plenty of choice. But to me I don't think they get through the volume needed to have that many taps on. Had a sierra nevada keg and a jaipur cask. They were OK, but I've had them better in other places

Quiet Tuesday when we visited. Great beer choice

Good range of real and craft ales but not as many as a few years ago. The pub is filled with all kinds of artwork, various stuffed animals and all kinds of other weird stuff. The beers we had were good and well kept. The pub does the normal crisps, nuts etc but doesn't do food.

Fantastic pub the staff were really friendly. The beer is brilliant and the music was outstanding. Best DJ I’ve ever heard better than any DJ in nightclubs.

Excellent real ale pub, cask and kegs, diverse selection - it's our go-to pub for a drink and a chat. They don't serve food, which is good; personally, I don't like the smell of food wafting around when you're enjoying a nice beer.

Fabulous selection of ales, great atmosphere and live music from some local musician on a Thursday evening. This was my first time here but won’t be my last.

Love this little pub, such a great range of ales and the decor is wacky and fun. The staff all seem to know their stuff and are really friendly. Definitely reccomend a visit if your in the area a real treasure and credit to huddersfield. :)

They had some great (Northern) ales on but don't bother putting sparklers on their pumps resulting in flat pints with no head. I wonder what Marble and Vocation would think about their beers being served like this.... I did ask the bar maid to put a sparkler on for me, but she didn't even know what one was.

Liked the look of the place. Some of the beers were lovely, some not to my liking.

This is a nice "locals" pub. Decent selection of cask and keg beers and a dog friendly beer yard out back. Never eaten here but often drop in for a pint.

Too much keg beer. Poor choice of cask beer. All yellow in colour, and, expensive!

Bar staff need to communicate better

Fab pub - great selection of beer, quirky decor and pleasant beer garden. One of our favorite places to go for a drink. I'd ask for a bit more greenery in the beer garden and a sprucing up of the toilets.

Great pub, large range of Keg and Cask beers as well as bottles. Interesting decor, two bar areas and a great outside area for when the sun is out.

Great pub with a great selection of craft ales and whiskey. The walls are decorated with wonderfully surreal taxidermy and art adding to the atmosphere.

A good selection of beers on offer, nothing too mainstream on offer. Prices are average. The Staff were friendly and chatty, the pub has a nice interior, I'm not too sure about the "witty" guitarist on the night I was there, I would avoid him, personally.

The Grove is a great pub, with a fantastic selection of beers. It always has a nice atmosphere. The collection of random items and art is worth the visit alone. They sometimes have live music, which is great.

Lovely pub with a MASSIVE and constantly changing menu of beers. Also have a huge selection of whiskies and other spirits The bar staff are all lovely, friendly, efficient and helpful.

1st visit on Friday, for a very sad occasion but the staff were super friendly helpful and nothing too much trouble. The place is amazing so many areas, so much to look at, fantastic atmosphere and given the number of people in attendance and the extremely sad occasion they managed to keep the place well stocked, clean and happy. Not surprised Louise loved it here, just a fab place. Not forgetting the number of beers ales lagers available inc non alcoholic, Thank you for making such a sad occasion a relaxed and happy atmosphere.

We really like this unassuming pub very eclectic inside with a great array of real and craft ales. Recommended

Went to Huddersfield for the first time since I graduated for the Hella Mega Tour (8 years). My boyfriend suggest we pop in for a drink as we're avid taxidermy collectors and I'd like The Grove's collection. I was not dissapointed! Eclectic, but clean space, with a good sized beer garden and a brilliant selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Will definitely visit again if I'm in the area.

Nice but accidentally bought blackcurrant beer. Yeuch.

One of the best places in Huddersfield if you like ale. Loads of choice and very accommodating staff to help you get beers right for you. The decor always amuses me as there's lots to look at if the conversation lulls. Plenty of cosy seats if you've got grumpy people with you.

The Grove is an amazing pub ,leather sofas, crazy artistic decor, and one of the best selection of artisan beers on draft or in bottles you wouldn't believe. And the gin and vodka selection is extensive as well.

In a recent visit the place has had a grotesque huge bar put in which dominates and has spoilt the atmosphere. A pipe running the the length of the bar looks like a pipe in a boiler house. Very strange.
