Wow, what an amazing little hidden gem this place is.
Had a roast beef dinner and couldn't fault it. The mash , the cauliflower cheese and the yorkies were all superb and the beef was lovely and tender.
But the star of the show was the homemade salted caramel cheesecake. I'm particularly critical of cheesecake and can tell when it's Shop bought but no such issues here. One of the best I've ever tasted.
All three of us agreed we would visit again.
The lovely couple from the Papas Locas food truck visited us at the Alpheton village hall and I cannot say enough about both the food and the lovely owners of Papas Locas. So many great responses from everyone at the hall and we’d love to have you back! Highly recommend!
Comfort food at its finest without being heavy, I can't seem to keep away. So glad that the already wonderful tooting market has this very special addition!
Visited with my son on 27 th July.
We opted for an outdoor table in the arcade. My son choose the full breakfast & I had the vegetarian. We ordered 2 hot drinks. The place was not packed but busy.
Our drinks came fairly quickly but our breakfast not so quick. Our drinks were well & truly finished before our breakfast arrived which is a shame.
The food was worth the wait & very nice. I think the full breakfast was worth the money but the vegetarian overpriced.
Overall the service was slow. Food was good but some of it overpriced.
Went here for lunch we thought it was lovely, the bacon cheese and spinach quiche was amazing lovely pastry. The Lemon tart very tasty. All the food was so lovely presented loved it! The little outside seating area they have made very pretty, will definitely come back when we visit again and have recommended to family.
This absolutely has to be the friendliest deli/coffee shop/wine bar in Peebles! Always the warmest welcome, excellent coffee, hot chocolate and home baking. Many of their cheeses and charcuterie items are local, and they keep a beautiful range of gift items to complement everything else.
Best cafe in Weston. The family who own and run it are the loveliest of people; hospitable, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Excellent food as always.
10 / 10 comida callejera. < 3
This family run business is an absolute gem. Fantastic home cooked Turkish food made with fresh produce from the equally brilliant grocers run by the same family, which sits like an open treasure chest nextdoor.
They offer all the favourites, from gozleme to borek and delicious homemade soups, as well as speciality patisserie with recipes from their home city in the south east of Turkey.
Not only does it do excellent food at a really reasonable price, but it contributes to a sense of community and bustle that ailing high streets so desperately need. We're really lucky to have such a fantastic place in Brighton.
Had a lovely experience here, the weather was great which made the experience even better. The food was delicious, wasn't sure what to expect but all of it was delicious. Highly recommend to anyone who wants indoor outdoor experience in the countryside.
I took a friend who I owed a lunch to & as I drove through New Cumnock he spotted a cafe open. It was a delight to find this lovely cafe selling Greek food. We had coffee, traditional Greek pie(homemade) followed by baklava & a cinnemon iced bun. We chatted to the owner who had moved here from Athens to be cloe to his Mother in Glasgow. The coffee was so good we had a second cup. On paying the price was reasonable at £22.80 for two. We have already recommemded to friends & neighbours & will return. Open 7am until 4pm.
