Oliver's Bar in Conwy

Thank you for hosting my daughters babyshower. The buffet was excellent with a mix of hot and cold food. All perfectly cooked, plenty of it to round and some left over for guests to take doggy bags home. Guests were commenting how good it all was, the location, friendly staff and of course the food.

First & certainly not the last visit. We were early for Sunday Lunch however we were received so well by the staff, who efficiently attended us at table with a smile. 3 lamb, 1 pork. Lunch was nothing short of six stars. We are local & will return to Oliver’s. Thank you.

Beautifully cooked food. Roast dinner with lovely thick slices of beef. Steak cooked to perfection. Large portions. Take away service for desert if you are too full after the meal.

Went for Sunday lunch with my daughter. We both had the beef dinner. Lovely thick slices of melt in the mouth beef accompanied by a massive Yorkshire pudding, mash, roast and new potatoes all covered in a really tasty gravy. Side dishes of peas, carrots, red cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower cheese. Everything was hot and fresh. Service was quick and friendly. All the food arrived at the same time so we were not waiting for anything. Definitely going back here.

We visited Oliver's for Sunday lunch. Our table was ready for us on arrival (name on a small blackboard - nice touch). There is a good selection of beers, wines etc so there's plenty of choice. There's a varied menu, we opted for roast beef which was moist and tender (I would have preferred my gravy in a gravy boat rather, but that wasn't a big deal. The selection of vegetables and quantity was very good. After a rest we decided to try a sweet, these were to die for. The staff were attentive without being in your face and overall it was 10/10.

Came for a family meal and loved it, the food portions are generous and the food is very nice. Reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely be back! 😋

Visited for the first time last night despite living locally. Definitely recommend! It’s not a massive place so a limited number of tables - recommend booking if you want to go. It was busy with a mix of people eating and drinking and felt like a nice vibe with music in the background. There was an offer on for 2 meals for £20 - we chose the steak pie and the chicken curry (which came with rice, chips, naan bread, poppadom and mango chutney!!) - The chips could of done with a touch longer - they were cooked and hot but a bit pale but I guess that could be personal preference. If that’s the worst thing I can find to say they’re doing many things right! Outside of the offer menu the food seemed really reasonably priced (main meals about £13 each - which I would be more than happy to pay for what we had). Drinks selection was really good - range of beers on draft, plenty of spirits and a couple of choices of wine. Again reasonably priced. It was nice to go somewhere within walking distance (well I can walk there, the trek back up the hill with a full tummy was grim - should have stayed for another drink!) Service was prompt and friendly. Finally everywhere was really clean - tables cleared promptly (the chap clearing the tables recommended we try the Oliver’s burger next time - so now we HAVE to go back to try that! :-D ) bar clean, toilets clean. Always a good sign. 10/10 will definitely go again and would recommend.

We use this bar whilst staying on a local holiday park. In our opinion it’s much friendlier than the local village pub! Relaxing outdoor area with lights & plants and very pleasant bar with welcoming staff. Toilets clean and well maintained. A great find for a drink & chat to end the day. Carling please!!! ? 🍺 👍🏻

My family and Friends have dined and drank here on many occasions and can't really pick a fault. The menu is good and reasonably priced. The food is homecooked and the Drinks menu is excellent with a good choice of Draught beers etc The staff and management have to be commended as they are excellent and so friendly and welcoming. The entertainment is also very good, and the management make a real effort to make this a fantastic family friendly venue. Another point to note is that everywhere is spotlessly clean, and it can be clearly seen that the owners take great pride in their venue. Love it!
