Papas Locas in East Cambridgeshire

The lovely couple from the Papas Locas food truck visited us at the Alpheton village hall and I cannot say enough about both the food and the lovely owners of Papas Locas. So many great responses from everyone at the hall and we’d love to have you back! Highly recommend!

The Canadian One poutine, made with artisan cheddar cheese curds, is the closest I’ve come to proper Canadian poutine in Cambridge. So good! The Chicky One loaded fries and K-pop Bites were delicious too. La Pitta Loca (pitta bread strips sprinkled with sugar, cinnamon and Canadian maple syrup) made a great dessert.

Amazing food and smiley service! These bowls are heavenly! I had the beefy one- oh my god, the taste was out of this world!Bolognese full of flavour and aromas! My friend had the Spanish special and could not stop saying how good it was! We also shared their Korean barbecue ribs and I have to say I've never had such tasty ribs. I wanna bathe in that barbecue sauce, please! I'm hooked!

These guys just bring it every time! The food is amazing, they’re serving with a smile and it’s just such a nice and friendly environment when you pop over. They never fail to amaze me with the combos they make. The sausage special is to die for!

We visited this food van in Fordham last night and we did not expect this! The portions are huge, the food is ace and the guys at the hatch could not be more helpful! They explained the menu very patiently answering our many questions and they helped us create the best Papa Loca for our tastes. It is a build your own concept but they even have recommendations at the hatch if you’re undecided like us. We had the Me Ivan special which was out of this world and beef mince with gravy and Parmesan cheese which reminded me of my mum’s bolognese! We will definitely be stalking these guys around Cambridgeshire. So much variety and a van which is also very easy to the eye! Thank you Nickolas and Anthi!
