Lovely outdoor space full of natural colour ,flowers and a zen-like ambiance. The service was relaxed and friendly and the food generous, quality and tasted fantastic! Sherwood is lucky to have such a hidden gem

Really lovely little cafe in Sherwood with a surprise, quiet garden to eat in too. Food is really good and so is the service. Not expensive and definitely recommend for breakfast and brunch.

this cafe occupies a great middle ground - more reasonable than some of the eateries in Sherwood, does handcut chips (mmm), huge slices of cake and healthier options. Great wee garden out the back, very friendly staff.

Lovely, friendly, local cafe with a wide ranging menu, generous portions and great service. I thoroughly enjoyed a shrimp fried rice with chilli sauce - perfect lunch. There’s a fine choice of teas served properly too. The garden at the back is beautiful and an encouragement to linger. Try it out before it gets colder.

Compares favorably price wise to similar in the area. Will go back as plenty of choice for veggies. Tables close together which would put me off if inside is full. Also extremely uninspiring decor Could look much nicer Very bland Friendly service. Mains salad adequate and would love more selection of leaves and veg maybe some coleslaw too

A nice place for coffee and cake with a back garden to sit out. Fairly priced and nicely designed. Peaceful and calm cafe.

Five Star Service, genuine and thoughtful staff with a lovely friendly greeting x wonderfully relaxed atmosphere with slinky smooth cafe and the best full English I’ve ever tasted, my very picky 6 year old said “it was Super Good,” Lovely comfortable place with everything you need for a relaxing meal with the family. Always had a great meal/service in here. Might not get as much footfall as some of the 'trendier' places further down but infinitely better food and service!

I dropped in during the September heatwave for a tea and an ice cream. The ice cream came in a tub and the tea in a mug with "squeeze every day" written on it. It's a narrow cafe at the northernmost end of Sherwood's main drag, with some tables at the front, stairs up to the till area, and a way through to an outside area at the back which you wouldn't guess was there. It appeared to be run by a Chinese lady and an English man, both of whom couldn't do enough to look after me. I felt instantly welcome. The gentleman has had some serious health issues, it seems, so good luck to him and his partner with the Orchid. I really enjoyed my visit.

Lovely little cafe with garden seating. Good value breakfast, friendly and welcoming service. Provided water bowl for our dogs.
