The food there was really good, however it is very expensive, £8 for ONE milkshake! However, the milkshake was easily the best drink I've ever had. The experience there was really good, and the restaraunt was well decorated with halloween decorations such as skeletons. It had very kind workers as well! I would recommend for you to go there for tea, because it is a very good place and not very busy either(well when we went there). I would recommend it for people who love food like chips, burgers and milkshakes(american food). Overall, it was a very fun time but it was expensive.

Very expensive, very small portions and the staff were not very smiley and welcoming. Food was ok. I call these types of chippy's 'tourist chippy's' £6 quid for a very small portion of chips, peas and gravy. The portion was so small that it was below the height of the tray and what makes it worse is the server put the peas on top of the gravy.

Came in for lunch on Saturday 9th November. Really friendly greeting and overall the service was superb by the two ladies. We had a Lasagna and Arabiatta Penne. Both were massive portions and were amazing home cooked dishes. So good. Not been here before, will be back for sure. The whole experience was faultless.

We have just spent 4 nights in Paignton and ate at Henry's each evening. Food and drink delicious, staff and locals friendly and welcoming. Also not far from our accommodation. Centrally located close to the railway station the seafront, we strongly recommend tnis place.

Baseri is a really special restaurant. The food is beautiful, but what really stands out is the incredible hospitality. The staff are attentive, generous and kind. They make fantastic recommendations and fill the restaurant with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Me and my girlfriend absolutely loved this place. We went for lunch and they did a VERY reasonable lunch deal. The food was delicious and staff were really friendly. The restaurant itself is quite small and cute, the decor is also very nice. All round amazing!

We stumbled in off the street after a day walking the Thames; although essentially fully booked they rearranged tables to fit us in. Five tapas dishes between us, plus sweet potato fries, were produced swiftly. This was a good amount of food! Our favourite was the aubergine closely followed by the baked goat’s cheese. Lots of vegan/ gluten-free options were available. Our fabulous server AJ (who turned out to be a manager working occasional shifts) eventually divulged the secret to the aubergines, crispy on the outside, melting on the inside, doused with sticky date molasses. You’ll have to go yourself and charm your own server to find out! AJ treated us to glasses of delicious Pedro Ximenez to accompany our dessert (vegan raspberry chocolate torte, yes please) and then since we got chatting also introduced us to Liquor 43. We loved this place for the fresh ingredients, ambience and top-notch service.

We stayed here twice once in Sept and again in Oct. Great location - our bedrooms overlooed the river Tamar. The room was large with walk in shower. We had breakfast & dinner - food was excellent. The staff are very helpful & friendly. Parking wasn't a problem with on & off road parking available. We would stay there again if we catch the ferry from Plymouth again.

This review is more for “The Hidden Lane”! It’s aptly called ‘Hidden’ as it is located very inconspicuously! You blink and miss the entrance to the Lane! Although it is recommended for people visiting Glasgow to visit this place, I would suggest that you can give it a miss. Nothing much to do once you reach there!
