Me and my friend decided to try out this place because we really wanted to have authentic chai and snacks. I ordered a Kashmiri chai and she ordered a earl grey tea. We also ordered some samosas. The samosas tasted really nice. However we had to remind the wait staff to get us them has he only brought one samosa. We then ordered two more samosas and the same thing happened. It’s as though he forgot or something. I ordered a masala chai and was given a chai latte by mistake. When I mentioned that it was wrong tea I wasn’t offered what I originally. I was so fed up at this point I decided I didn’t want anything else. The food tasted good but sadly service needs to improve. So won’t be returning. My friend also mentioned she could smell a weird smell In restaurant which is a bit concerning too. Wouldn’t recommend this place purely based on the poor customer service experience.

I went to chai bisket yesterday i orderd smosa chat it was great and service was very pleasant and all of the people working there are very welcoming and provide good service and one of the girl name vidhi is very nice and talks happily with evryone i will visit there again

Went for the first time today and wasn’t disappointed..it was clean warm and inviting . Enjoyed a superb breakfast and the two gentleman in the cafe were really pleasant and hospitable even offering to top up ten we got water on my tea as I had to rush and leave and take my tea to go

A lovely quiet place to have lunch or breakfast. The omelette was amazing. The service was superb and the preserves stewed good. Will definitely be back and highly recommended.

Aysun is brilliant! Delicious food and worth the money

First time in there I had chilli con Carn with rice /salad plus pudding after I realy enjoyed it price was good to I will go back I recommend it the people who work there are very helpful and polite the shop is spotlessly clean.

Went there today with my mum for the first time. Spotless clean friendly staff food plentyful and done exactly how we wanted it. We will be back

Just had chicken tikka, rice and salad, it was absolutely beautiful! Def reccomend.

Food is delicious and atmosphere is very nice

Had 2 visits with my elderly mum. First visit was fab, had a lovely lunch, good quality food and hot. We both had mixed omelettes with chips and slaw. Second visit I wasn't very hungry so opted for tuna melt panini.....bad choice! I was too embarrassed to say anything to the staff, should have in hindsight. Bland, tiny spread of tuna , no melt, not even toasted properly. No salad or anything in it. Staff are lovely and it is very clean.

I went with my friends today and had a lovely time. Their seating area is clean and spacious, staff were really friendly. The food was delicious! We had chicken briyani , samosa chaat masala chips and karad chai with biscuits. We will definitely back.

Was okay. Beans had been watered down and had black bits. Looked like cheap brand of beans. Please use good brands baked beans. Let down breakfast. Nice restaurant.

I have been here quite a few times now and the food is ok but the staff are not very pleasant and take ages to serve you..the worst thing is the smell of drains in thier toilet and you can smell it if you sit near it awful

Very nice place to eat. Delicious food prepared by a super friendly chef Jay. We have been coming here for a while now and have tried a variety of their dishes. There wasn't a single dish there that would leave us dissapointed. I highly recommend Chai Basket as a great place to eat at any time of the day.

Menu has vegan chai on it but they don’t actually have vegan milk in and apparently aren’t planning on getting any in in the future. Samosa was fine, chutney was sauce from a bottle. Not in a hurry to come back any time.

Had karak Chai, Onion bhajji and Samosa chat. Gread food, great ambience and service. Very friendly owners and staff 2nd visit - Had tea, it was warm instead of hot. So had to ask for another cup of freshly made tea. Also a feedback - Can add more Indian snack options which go with Chai. (Other than Samosa and Onion bhaaji. Though I saw the Biryani, that looked very very tempting, but that wouldn't go with my Chai. Downgrading my rating to 4 🫣 but would still definitely come again 🙂

Lovely and clean seating area, lots of space, staff were really friendly. The food was delicious! I had a butter chicken curry and my friend had the Indian breakfast. Both were very delicious and very reasonably priced. I’ll be back again soon!

I walked in and immediately knew it would be good from the aroma as you walk in the door. Ordered: karak chai and Indian breakfast (chickpea curry, mixed veg omelette, paratha and hash browns) Chickpea curry was bangin, can't wait to have it again, very generous portion so took my leftovers with me - omelette, paratha and hashbrowns also nice. Karak chai was lush, cardamom taste really obvious, very nice. Will come again, thank you!

We have ordered chicken biryani, lamb biryani, samosa chaat and karak chai. All the dishes were so yummy. The quality and quantity was very good. The staff were so friends and very polite. They assisted so well. 100% recommend this restaurant. Highly recommend for the taste and service.

I ordered dhai papdi chaat and was given a watery bowl of yogurt with soggy puri floating in it. Nothing like chaat. Would not recommend. Poor service, staff not bothered, dull atmosphere- definitely do not recommend.

Ordered 2 jackets, one with cheese and beans a the other with chilli con carne and cheese. They were so tasty and a massive portion too! We had a latte and a cappuccino which were also good. This place is spotless, .we will be back.

Been to Chai Bisket for the first time and the food was lovely and fresh. Their chicken biryani was the best, thoroughly enjoyed it. So glad we now have a local place where we can pick up authentic hyderabadi biryani. Their chai was lovely too. Do try it out guys as they have a variety of stuff on their menu.

Proper old school values, casual, cosy cafe with attention to excellent service (very quick and with a smile/charm). Spacious, clean, bright atmos with lots and lots of menu choices (Inc all day breakfast) easily adapted to suit. Large portions and reasonable prices. How it should be. Try the freshly squeezed orange juice.

Went in on the off chance and the staff were lovely and so was the food, walked in and it smelt great so decided to stay and order food

First time here and will be back again! Had the samosa chaat which was authentic tasting! And the jacket potato was very generous in size and lovely and creamy. Will be back to try the biriyanis. Thank you!

Do NOT get food from here! Ordered TA and never arrived. So went to the shop and they said they will remake. They did and I got home 2 mins later and it was stone cold! They cook it from frozen! We chucked it and ordered KFC!!

Name is deceiving… they only have one desi breakfast item! Everything is from packet or premade! Nothing is flavorful! Packet masala chai not fresh. Definitely dont recommend it!

Good decor inside, very inviting. We ordered the chai combo - really good and highly recommended. Fast service, a d affordable - bang for buck, better than any coffee + croissant combo from stores down the road. Will come back next time for a proper meal.

His genuine friendliness and prompt service added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience.The food, prepared by the talented Chef Venky was nothing short of spectacular. I started with the Karakoram Chai, which was a delightful blend of spices and warmth. The rich, aromatic flavours were perfectly balanced, making it one of the best chais I’ve ever had. It was like a warm hug in a cup, transporting me to the serene landscapes of the Karakoram mountains.The Dahi Yogurt Chaat was another highlight. Chef Vekai has truly mastered the art of creating a dish that is both vibrant and flavourful. The yogurt was creamy and fresh, while the chaat was a perfect mix of textures and spices. Each bite was an explosion of tangy, sweet, and savoury notes that danced on my palate. It’s clear that Chef Venky pours passion into every dish.Overall, my experience at Chai Bisket was nothing short of outstanding. I have found myself becoming a regular customer here. There food is homely and there is a warm welcome. Value for money is great and the food is very nice. Thoroughly recommend a BLT Roll.

Parked up on the high street and spotted this place easily. Had a great brunch breakfast which was tasty, filling and not greasy, just what I wanted - thank you. Oh - by the way, the place was lovely and warm, an unusual bonus in today’s economic climate!

Very rude staff had very bad attitude had a issue with us as soon as we walked in the shop as we came with a child didnt serve us so we left real shame!

Absolutely disgusting service and a place I will never visit again even if they paid me. The old man that works there is the rudest person I have ever met. We visited with my little baby and he seated us under the ac that was blowing out uncomfortably hot air - my husband politely asked if we could move as there were other tables free and this old man was so rude and disrespectful we packed up our stuff and left. Not to mention how unclean and unhygienic the restaurant looked he did us a favour to be honest. As people of colour we refuse to visit places where we are made to feel uncomfortable and we were clearly not welcome from the minute we stepped inside.

The food came quickly. I couldn't fault it. A full English without being greasy is hard to achieve, but they did it! The restaurant is very clean aswell. Also, reasonably priced...just look at my face!

my wife took 3 extra tissues and the grumpy guy asked for tissues back!!! never experianced such pathetic attitude before in any restaurant. not going again. used to go often.

Very clean, lovely service, reasonably priced, lovely fresh food (I had a delicious cheese, onion and tomato omellete and baked beans and a delciious hot chocoate, and I felt comfortable at home,they even have plug sockets if you wanna charge your phone or use your laptop. I highly recommend this cafe :)

My family and I have been in this lovely café, wonderful staff, very pleasant with our food, hot delicious meal, the atmosphere just perfect, will go again. A little jem of a cafe where it doesn't cost a huge amount.

A classic cafe’ which I haven’t seen for a while, in an area which seemed to step back from the usual hustle and bustle of inner London. Tranquil , good portions of good. The Han and cheese omelette was delicious and of a very substantial size. The salad chopped up well, coleslaw great and a decent proportion for the dish. Lemon tea great. The cutlery and dusted were clean and services. Staff was nice, a little more friendliness maybe. The price was great. Definitely would go again.

Lovely service, breakfast always cooked to perfection. Its been years finding somewhere to go and having a traditional breakfast that is cooked just right without loads of grease and good portions.

Never disappointed when I visit this restaurant, food is amazing. Best Spanish omelette I have ever tasted. All our family and friends agree, one of the best meals they have ever had. Only problem is meals for me are too big so I do waste food, smaller portions for OAP would be a good idea. I hate wasting food.
