6 for lunch. Two under 16 one over 80. Fine selection to suit us all. Very welcoming, clean, fresh salads and perfectly prepared meals. The fish n Chips the best.

Nice pub, kitchen was closed when we arrived, our fault we didn’t check, nice bar friendly thought.

During my visit, I opted for the beef and ale pie, which was generously filled with tender chunks of meat and rich, savory gravy, all encased in flaky pastry. It was accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes and buttery green beans, creating a hearty and satisfying meal that left me feeling fully satisfied.

What a little gem of a pub in such a cute village! Staff work hard and very friendly and lively local people . It was very busy as it was 2 days before Christmas but service was excellent and a good pint of carling which hubby loved. We ordered gammon and chips with egg, pint of beer and a large wine, £36 really good price !! Food was fresh and tasty and hot !! Cleared our plates !! Definitely visit if you’re flying from Heathrow!! We stayed in Harmondsworth Guest house and I will post my review on this in separate forum, great little find to leave your car for over a week and cheap !!! Definitely come back :-)

Great choice of food. Very well cooked at a fabulous price. Compared to some nearby establishments this place is a fantastic hidden gem. Highly recommend. Daily specials which are well worth the money.

On a Saturday night recently, my partner and I were looking for somewhere to eat within walking distance from our hotel, The Premier Inn LHR Terminal 5. To our delight we found that the Five Bells was just a 15 minute walk away. What a little gem! It was precisely what we were looking for: traditional, cute, cosy, affordable and with great food and wonderful service. We couldn't have hoped for more. On arrival, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The outside beer garden looked lovely but as there were people smoking outside we chose to eat inside. Also, the dining room of the pub provided the perfect 'typical English pub' experience that we were looking for. I ordered a pie that could be served with either chips or mash potato. I thought I'd requested chips but the pie arrived at the table with mash. I didn't want to be difficult or make a big deal of it but I mentioned my disappointment to Abi the delightful waitress. She was very apologetic and extremely helpful and discussed the situation with another staff member Lee. To my delight, Lee quickly chatted to Steve the chef and arranged for a side serving of chips to be made for me. As I hadn't yet touched the meal, I offered for the mash potato to be swapped for the chips but Lee kindly advised I could enjoy both. I was so impressed with the way the staff were so polite and obliging... no questions asked. If only all restaurant staff could be as wonderful as Abi, Lee and Steve. They are the epitome of 'service-oriented' staff and went above and beyond our expectations. People like them are what make a restaurant truly great. My partner had fish and chips and both of our meals were absolutely delicious, offering good value for money. We left the pub with such a positive impression of the local town and people and were so happy to have found The Five Bells. If we lived in the area, I'm sure we would dine there regularly. Thank you again Abi, Lee and Steve for making our English pub experience so perfect and for creating such a wonderful memory.

I have been to the 5 Bells pub several times and the food has always been good, but visited on Monday with friends and was disappointed, the Chilli Con Carne was basically tasteless and tortilla chips - if that’s what they were, tasted greasy. We were the only ones in the pub so they were not run off their feet with orders. I am not difficult with food nor after a freebie. This is just constructive criticism so hopefully u will take it on board.

Exactly what we were looking for. A local pub with friendly people and good food. We found it in the Five Bells. The homemade pie was super, and the sticky toffee and pudding as amazing. Staff we r friendly and helpful. The setting was lovely. Thanks for a great experience

We were staying at a nearby practical airport hotel before an early flight and wanted a relaxed evening out away from the hotel bar and main road. This was a perfect find. Lovely garden, very friendly staff, good reasonably priced food and drinks. Family friendly atmosphere in the garden.

Pleasant evening with 3 of us having LOTS of drinks and all having meals until the landlady (I assume?) came over and told us off, rather abruptly, for our little puppy being on the grass. Our bad, but perhaps learn to speak to paying customers politely and with respect. Won’t be going back.

For the reasonable price, the food was very good, enjoyed a Steak & Ale pie + mash + veg for less than £10. And a pint for less than £5, the garden area was pleasant. Was a great evening stop off before my flight next morning - was an easy ~30 min walk from Sheraton Heathrow. June'23.

A gem of a village pub. A stones throw from Heathrow Airport yet quiet and relaxing location. Old world charm with modern facilities. Fully stocked bar, clean tables, WiFi lovely garden, friendly staff. Reasonably price, home cooked traditional pub fayre. Steak meal under a tenner, very fresh salads, great selection of jackets and baguettes. We will be back. Book a table, you won't be disappointed. British pub at its best 👌

Beautiful pub in an idyllic heart of the village setting serving great food and drink. Friendly and welcoming landlord who was a total gentleman assisted by his absolutely charming landlady wife who cooked my partner and i the most delicious scampi today with succulent mushy peas coleslaw and hot thick crispy fries. Delicious! And the presentation was first class. Loved the big ancient fireplace and amazing view of the village green from the window. Wide choice of beers ales lagers and spirits for my partner who settled on an Italian beer while i had a refreshing pint of diet coke. Comfortable seats. Nice welcoming atmosphere with good old wooden tables and great pub food like scampi and chips with coleslaw or peas and a fresh zingy lemon wedge for just 8.95 and steak and chips for 9.95. Dog friendly. Spotlessly clean rest rooms and beer garden at rear set in pretty garden. Amazing church next door with Commonwealth military headstones and right next door to the church is Britains largest and most complete medieval barn dating to the 1400's. If you want a nice meal and a pint with free parking on the green in a pleasant setting or you have an hour or two before your flight come to the five bells and make this pub YOUR LOCAL PUB and support the Best of British traditional old pubs.

Lovely pub with a homely feel and absolutely delicious food. Had Sunday lunch with family and everything was perfect, all home prepared and cooked and piping hot. Didn’t really have room for desert but just had to have some! Lovely sticky toffee pudding and amazing honeycomb cheesecake. Thank you

Pub in the village of the doomed, Harlington Middx. Thro' no fault of it's own is on hold, waiting for the 3rd runway at Heathrow to flatten half of the village. Meanwhile the village tries to support 2 pubs! The 5 bells is doing it's best. It's clean and tidy - go for a pint the landlady is charming 😊.

Really good pub in a small village.

We ordered the Hunters Chicken for just under £10, when the chef just lays a slice of processed cheese on top of the bacon instead of grated cheese then you know there's a problem, not very good. The chicken was very small, more children's size than adults, disappointed really.

A lovely pub in Harmondsworth. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Unfortunately they don't sell tea. They do sell coffee. We didn't sample the food, we just had a drink in the garden. Stayed at Sheraton only a 20 minute walk to this lovely pub,great hosts,fab beer garden and great food ( northern scampi and beans 👍) Would defo recommend and visit again when in area Thank you Damo and Lisa Chesterfield Derbyshire (up north)

First time here as family recently moved to area and when visiting I stay in local hotel. What a great village pub. Great decor, service amazing, wonderful outside area, food was fantastic. They have a lunch 12-3pm and an evening menu 5.30/5pm-9pm Tues to Sunday. With a roast dinner menu on Sundays. Burgers, steaks , salads all sorts with 3 dessert options. And some vegeterian options. We have a non alcohol beer and soft drink, there is plenty of beers and alcoholic drinks available. We had sirloin steak and a cheese burger with onion rings on side and I had fudge cake and coffee for after. Food was fantastic really amazing quality, so tasty. Does say over 21s only on sign outside. Great garden area and dog friendly also has a pool table.

We 3 sat outside in the lovely beer garden with our dog & had drinks & 3 roast beef dinners today. Firstly the garden is so peaceful & tranquil & an awesome spot for an early lunch. The staff here are truly magnificent, so friendly & efficient. The meals were the perfect size, quality & price. Really enjoyed it here, even with some ‘noise’ out the front. Thanks to the brilliant pub staff for everything. Highly recommended!!

Absolutely a loverly afternoon with a nice cider i have never tasted before. And a great Sunday lunch thats takes a bit of time to make, but is freshly made and was one of the best i have had for a long while. The staff are so friendly and it was a joy to be welcomed in their establishment. Will be back again, well worth the journey.

I have passed this pub many times and finally decided to stop in. We only stayed for drinks and crisps, but the service and the location were lovely. We will certainly be back soon.

Went for Sunday Lunch. Everything spot on. Lovely staff who could not do enough for you. The roast dinners were superb - and also the vegetarian section. Really old pub with a wonderful atmosphere. Will definately be back and would highly recommend to everybody.

We dropped in to this pub while visiting the ancient Tithe Barn and Heathrow 3rd. Runway threatened village. Treated like friends, good beer and great Sunday roast. Highly recommended !

We were staying local to the airport and just stumbled upon this place. At first you don't know what to expect (finding an older pub in a traditional looking village) but we were pleasantly surprised with the food, it was delicious for me and my partner.
