A surprising and totally charming tea room with wonderful staff in period costume. More than this it goes beyond simple nostalgia as it serves a beautiful community purpose with period photos and objects donated, gifted or obtained locally. Just ask how the cafe was conceived and you will understand more. It’s also bigger than you think with a nice garden and mock-up Anderson shelter. The period newspapers on the tables are a wonderful touch. The food was very good and reasonably priced.
I’ve been to Moorish at least 5 times now with family, every single time the food has been top notch. Incredible consistency and you will not be disappointed with any dish. Staff are super friendly with great service, one chef even told us some tips and suggested their spices and rubs which were beautiful.
10/10 highly recommend!
Food was great but a little cold by the time we eat it. The experience is great seeing you dishes being create and cooked
Overall 11 course seem ok value for cost. The wine flight seemed overpriced for the size of the pouring but sons interesting wines
Excellent coffee served by a young and friendly staff. A little bit quirky and different from the other dreary places in Newquay. Lifted my spirits after a look around this now rather shabby looking town. The beaches are stunning but the town itself needs a massive dose of TLC.
We’d heard about the Bistro but hadn’t visited until one Saturday when we called in hoping to get a late lunch. We had food which was so delicious. Rarely have I enjoyed a meal so much and I am recommending that, if they want to eat the most delicious food, prepared by a skilful chef, assisted by friendly staff and at a price that won’t break the bank, my summer guests need look no further.
I only hope that there’ll be a table left for me!
Well done everyone.
Excellent value for money, lovely friendly service from volunteers. Can recommend the cheese scone with butter and the beautiful locally sourced cakes. Dogs welcome with customers. Highly recommended.
Beautiful place, reasonably priced, atmosphere excellent, Food excellent, I'd highly recommend and we will be back. I'll be grabbing the local honey next time
What a fantastic find! We were looking for a restaurant that did masala dosa and were thrilled to find it on the menu. Even the fact its an unlicensed restaurant didn't deter us they havexa range of lovely mocktails.
The dishes were different to any other Indian all freshly cooked and utterly delicious. The service was faultless too.
We are looking forward to making this our new favourite restaurant and working our way through the amazing menu.

The best place ever! We had an issue with data and the phone didn't work ( problem with different country numbers) and couldn't take the order, but the kitchen chef made it for free. 🫶 Food is Great! Love it.
