Best cakes best sandwiches and panini ever when I went with my mates

Proper oldschool 'greasy spoon', cheap, cheerful and staff are very friendly. Cleanest greasy spoon cafe I've ever been to. Granted it's not fine dining however the food's good -- my only suggestion is I wish they'd butter the burger buns. Rapid service too, food came piping hot within 10 mins of ordering. Going in here is like stepping back in time, the sort of place your Nan would take you as a kid. 10/10 Edit: I went for the half pounder burger meal but didn't want side salad, so the waitress asked if I wanted beans in lieu free of charge, you don't get service this good in Mcdonalds Edit #2: Gutted to hear that this place closes permanently tomorrow 20/12/24 after 40 years. Taunton will lose an icon and I wish the staff the best of luck and the owners a very happy retirement.

Excellent food, we ordered several appetizers and a lemonade to my liking. The service was super, the lady was super attentive because I can't drink drinks with so much sugar. She made it to my liking! THANK YOU, we haven't been here in a long time and we will be back soon :)

What a lovely find, excellent food & a warm welcome

Ordered on uber eats and unfortunately the food was terrible. Arrived on time hut was left at the door Fried rice was creamy, the fries are actually roast potatoes. Chicken curry was fine, the mutton curry was good until it cooled down then the meat became chewy. The cake was good. The naan bread was good.

Great food, lovely staff, can be a bit noisy at times.

I've tried fish and chips from nany different places, and this one is far te best! The fish S perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the Chips are always hot and fresh. Highly recommended!

Amazing food which is really good value for money! Happy, friendly staff. The Sunday roast is the best one around but the midweek specials are also really good with a nice range of options.

Came here for lunch with my son and our dog. Lovely little cafe, good food and coffee together with a sausage for our dog. Very friendly.

Great coffee shop offering hot and cold drinks, including plant based milks. Although there isn't a lunch menu the cakes are great including the vegan donuts! Also spotted vegan sausage rolls for next time ;-)

Everything was excellent. Tried different pastries/bakes all were great but the cinnamon roll was amazing. Consistently excellent coffee on every trip and very friendly staff. All round a perfect little cafe.

Wonderful food & excellent beer. What a winner! Authentic Gujarati street food, reasonably priced, & 5 handpulls serving a varied range of well-kept beer. What’s not to like?

Nice coffee. A lot nicer than Starbucks. Vegan milks. Nice atmosphere but a little humid. Expensive like big brands
