The best restaurants in United Kingdom

Unfortunately although we have heard great things we came away very underwhelmed. Mid week dining with OH for his birthday and our 2 grown up daughters. Good choices of dishes and we had quite a few and the only one I would have again was the bread. Everything was really underseasoned and lacking flavour. I was so looking forward to this meal but left feeling really disappointed.

Lovely restaurant in a pretty village. The mothers day fixed menu was great value. Fa tasting smoked mackerel and roast dinner although e beef was a little tough. The staff were so friendly and really attentive. A lovely way to spend a Sunday lunchtime.

We visited yesterday and were served by the charming Ollie ,who gave us a free coffee after our meal of Tom and mozzarella foccacias andcoffes, croissant, extremely clean and bright restaurant,good menu for lunch /afternoon snacks . Thanks from your Irish visitors Ollie !!

What a find! We will be going again as food and service were excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice to see something a little different on the menu. 10 out of 10.

It was such a lovely time, the drinks and the snacks were just so amazing, and the service was incredible, thank you to Dan who served us!! Defo will be coming back!!

So so so sorry for the late review. Ive been meaning to do it for ages. Went there for my birthday last year and it was such a lovely time. Wonderful people and absolutely amazing food. Loved talking to everyone and I will absolutely return. Recommend if you want to have a memorable and lovely evening ❤️

A little place with a great atmosphere and delicious pizza. 😍 After our first visit we know we'll visit again - both pizzas were amazing, including the vegan one. All finished with a fresh piece of tiramisu. The place is quite small, and I counted 4 booths plus the waiting table in front. However on Monday evening we didn't have to wait longer than 4 min for a table. People inside are quite understanding and leave right after they finish. The only downside was that pizzas are made one by one (I guess due to the oven size) so you won't receive your pizzas at the same time. But even considering that, this place is worth visiting! Absolutely delicious!

Called in on Saturday just for a drink they have tables on the sunshine Noticed the food been brought out Returned a few hours later I had the sea bass cooked to perfection My wife had seafood platter again cooked to perfection Amazing service sensible priced for quality food we will defiantly return Kind regards Steve and Joyce

Had a fantastic dinner in Aldo’s, where they were very kindly able to squeeze me in without a booking. Food was amazing and service equally good! Well worth travelling for!

Disgusting prices for a bacon s/w and sausage s/w with 2 teas

Quite disappointed with the poke bowl — the salmon wasn’t diced into cubes and seemed to be made from the less flavourful parts of the fish. The rice was dry and tasted stale. However, the service was very good and the place itself was quite pleasant.

Food shrinkage and price increase . Not a good place to go to .

Highly recommend.. good pints excellent staff that make.you feel welcome.. just moved over from Ireland and this will definitely be my local..

What a beautiful little spot! We sat outside for breakfast in the sun today and it was so peaceful, you wouldn’t think you were in the middle of town, the veggie pretzel was stunning!
