Great food and Jim is such a nice man, and a great chef, the flavours he created were amazing, Think it was a bit lucky we were the only table (6 of us) as Jim was on his own, he did a great job, if there were more customers I would happily have jumed in to help even though I retired from the catering business many years ago it never really leave you. Yr Orsaf (the community hub, accommodation, caffi and Evening Thai all deserve success, what they have achieved is amazing, Long may it thrive.
We popped across into this venue for the first time at 4:00pm to check it out. As the outside seating area was full we took our 3 german sheperd dogs into the empty bar to order some drinks. To say the barman was unfriendly is putting it mildly we offered to leave if he had an issue he begrudgingly said we could stay to order our drinks then proceeded to tell us about all the sold out beers he could not offer us
Needless to say we left there are plenty of other venues in Devon who are dog friendly
Bought a sausage roll and potato and steak pasty out of the hot cupboard, from their stall on Lymington Market. £8.75...!
Both were not up to temperature; luke warm at best. Sausage roll had stale pastry and salty sausage meet; Pasty was 90% potato.
Crooks....should have gone to Greggs
I walked past one day and noticed the cheese toasties looked good. So yesterday after running and lifting weights on the downs I had my excuse to eat one. I had a blue cheese toastie which was delicious. I could have done with some green salad as a contrast, but even without that I had no trouble eating the whole thing. Today at Cheddar I made the mistake of ordering a toastie again. It was nothing like the Two Belly experience. No more cheese toasties for me until I come back to Bristol and visitTwo Belly again!
We went for the 12 course taster menu, not bad value considering we were at the restaurant for 3.5 hours. The design of the restaurant is interesting and the staff friendly (although it became a bit of a joke how many times we were asked which was our favourite course).
Most of the courses were delicious. An interesting mixture of flavours and textures. About the right amount of food across the evening.
(For the chef, the sticky toffee pudding, was an anticlimax to the meal. It was nice, but nothing special. The meal should end on a high)
We also had the wine pairing. The wine was very good, but not worth the money, particularly as it didn't include a drink to have with the first dish. Very cheeky.
Wow! This place is a must if you’re in St. David’s! It was a really tough decision in terms of flavours as they all sounded so delicious! We would definitely recommend the caramel crunch (that had lots of pieces of caramel in it!) and the banoffee (in particular if you like that foam banana flavour!). Other good flavours were the Oreo and mango sorbet!
We had double cones which were piled a little dangerously high and not particularly cheap but a nice treat!
Great Italian restaurant , amazing and friendly people, excellent food. Starters were very delicious. Homemade and fresh made pasta was cooked perfectly with lots of flavour. Enjoyed a lot. Unfortunately, had bo space left for the desert. I bet they taste good. On Sunday restaurant offers Sunday Roast deals. Highly recommended to vist.
Visited based on google reviews and big mistake! Fully understand the concept, but service (really miserable man) and coffee (totally undrinkable) beyond poor. Better to give your money to a homeless person in the street so they can buy something for themselves instead (which is what we did as soon as we got outside).
Wonderful time spent with my wife here for our anniversary. Fantasti, fresh, fish platters. Wine delicious, service impeccable and as plus it is dog friendly too. Next time we want to try their cheese platters.... nearly forgot.... don't miss their Campari Spritz... ! Prices within avarage, given the freshness of all they serve, great value for money !
