What a surprising and nice find. Wouldn’t have gone in based on the exterior. I think it’s an old pub but it was recommended. I know why now. The Victoria sponge was so light and the coffee second to none. There is a cosy cafe on one side and an Internet cafe the other side. You’re welcome to sit either side. Staff were so friendly and kept asking was everything ok. The coffee was the best available sourced from a speciality coffee company in Llandudno rather than whatever was cheap in the cash and carry. The great thing about it being an Internet cafe is that when other cafes shut at 4pm this is still well and truly open for business. Definitely will go back if I’m in the area. Oh and the toilets are clean and plenty of them based on the past use if the premises I assume. Prices are in anyone’s budget but better quality than cheap cafes elsewhere. Seats are comfy.
I absolutely love this place. A proper old fashioned sit-down fish and chip cafe that does takeaway too.
Great chips, great fish (fried in beef dripping as they should be) and very reasonable prices, even in this day and age.
The lovely, warm, funny lady who I assume to be Brenda herself is very friendly and welcoming and seems to know most of her customers by name. The rest of the people who work here are very nice too.
It's getting harder to find a chippy that's worth visiting so long may this fantastic place continue!
Moved to the area 18 months ago , this place has a brilliant decor interior, I am really impressed But not enough advertising about this venue.
A week next saturday ,10th August, is Enzo a singer , guitarist it is free to get in ( the drinks are very reasonably priced) but the first I heard about it was today , Sunday 28th July .See their Facebook page for more information...guys you really to start a website.
They have live acts about once a month , there is an onsite restaurant doing meals on a Thursday,Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 10pm also breakfast is served at the weekend from 9am to noon.
Monday nights there is bingo , eyes down at 8pm so get your books by 7.30pm, I understand that your book price includes a free raffle.
Sky Sports are in the bar , there is a pool table and dart board, it also has an outside drinking area I would class more as a terrace then a garden, but very nice.
Opening times are "unconventional" and a little hap hazard;
Monday 5pm to 10pm , Tuesday closed , Wednesday and Thursday 5pm to 11pm ,Friday 5pm to midnight , Saturday noon to midnight and Sunday Noon to 10pm.
It is a great place for the local comunity to get together.
How about advertising what is going on a little earlier? advance information would be great , a designated eating area with set out tables would be a nice touch , how about Kareoke every now and then ( not me though, my singing is c**p)
Finally my last suggestion, please all my comments are supposed to be constructive not criticle but a website is a must.
Ther is also a room available upstairs for private functions with it's own bar and an outside terrace area and seperate wc's.
Heel druk. Eten van redelijke kwaliteit. Het duurde enige tijd voordat het bestelde eten werd geserveerd. Je moest het eerst in een lange rij bij de balie bestellen.
My wife and I visited Donna’s Harbour Cafe, Shore Road, Perth for the first time on Wednesday the 30th of October 2024. We were greeted by the very friendly Donna (the owner) and we all enjoyed a bit of banter. There was so much choice of food that it was hard to decide what to order, but I chose a Frankfurter in a Bun with plenty of Fried Onions and my wife had the awesome homemade Macaroni and Cheese with a generous portion of chips. Our meals were well cooked and very tasty for a reasonable price and served with a lovely smile. This Cafe is very clean and the tables are nicely set out. The Harbour Cafe has a great atmosphere to dine in because it’s relaxed and informal with free parking available. My wife and I would highly recommend Donna’s Harbour Cafe. We will certainly return at some future date.

Spur of the moment decision proved a great choice as we enjoyed a lovely fresh, tasty lunch at Clarets in the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre.
Excellent views over the golf course and the River Dee.
Service was first class, food excellent. All in all a really above par choice to visit.
Won’t be the last time!
Luego vine aquí por primera vez estaba amasado y súper acogedor y es tal vez uno de los mejores cafés pasteleros y espero que todos lo disfruten y les encante 🔥🔥

Never in Hamilton!! attending daughters dance show we spotted this coffee shop on the way to the venue and popped in for a take away during the shows interval. Its a fabby/trendy looking place with a certain clientele. Staff are attentive and on it. Coffee and whatever my 12 yr old had was very good. A decent bean. Chocolate treats all look appealing and expensive. We left wondering who pays £9 for a bar of chocolate. We popped back in for a couple of kids marshmallow treats at the end of the show and the kids even told their mum about the treats and the price of the chocolate bar. seasonal stuff like valentines treats on offer, a pleasant atmosphere and great coffee. Just a pity its not closer for us but have told loads of people.
The best chippy in Derby!! Their gravy is to die for. I would absolutely recommend anyone to try. Ive been going for a couple years now and it keeps getting better
Called for a take out brunch before travelling back to the northeast. Same excellent quality, same friendly staff.
1 Bacon barmcake and 1 club sandwich later we were well fed and very happy we had called.
Due to covid they have set up a table at the doorway with copy menus taped to it, and a bell to ring for service if no one in the shop. There were a couple of chairs outside to rest on while you waited or the friendly lass serving said we could go back to our car and she would give us a shout when ready.
Travelled up north from london for an event and stumbled upon this lovely cafe for Sunday breakfast. It was delicious. A basic breakfast and our plates were full. Very reasonably priced too.
