Tynewydd Hotel in Rhondda Cynon Taf

Whenever I go here the Customers look at you as if you are from Mars! All the locals don't seem to like strangers! Funny old pub!

This is such a gem within Ponty market, me and my dad just went for the first time today and we were very impressed! The hospitality is great, the prices are very reasonable teetering on being very good for the value! I had the Garlic Stir Fry with rice and I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough, the flavours were just what you needed with a comforting feel and taste. The only downside is that it can get a bit noisy at peak times due to people passing through the market but besides that it’s overall such a wonderful vibe and I wish the team the best ☺️

Birthday treat with friends Food was amazing! Only downside - no choices available for gluten free vegetarian, luckily my friend does eat fish and thoroughly enjoyed her king prawn GF curry. We had a great time

Absolutely stonking food, so delicious! Great place to eat the only downside to sitting inside is the smoke from the cooking, was a bit much for me so will go back on a nice day and sit outside, highly recommend this place
