This time, had two slices of home made Victoria sponge and jam and cream ...and was asked if I wanted more cream with it ! Delicous ! A lovely warm welcome on a dank cold miserable January day.

A lovely welcome, excellent custard slices, mugs of tea and cold drinks for 2 for just over a fiver. Unbeatable value and a real find in Treherbert. We'll be back !

Fabulous little cafe in Treherbert area, fresh veg from local garden, friendly staff and always a great atmosphere. Food is delicious and reasonable.

Lively little place service really friendly lovely freshly prepared meals milkshakes are a must made with ice cream. Heard thatvtheie cooked dinners in a Wednesday are fab going to try next week

I've visited several times. Always found the café consistently good. I can recommend the food, certainly there's plenty of options on display. Certainly the loyalty card helps spread the costs if your a coffee lover. downsides are staff can be a tad slow clearing tables but do sespond when prompted

Have been to Croeso a few times for lunch and never been disappointed with their meals. During week a different home cooked lunch as well as other meals, sandwiches and cakes. Staff are friendly and live locally. Better than pub grub!

All home cooking with a lovely attitude. Panini was excellent. Good sized pots of tea in white china. Plenty of choice from curries to pea and ham soup to full cooked dinners. Prices are very reasonable and service is first class.A pleasure to visit. Once you've been there you will become a regular.

I came here to meet with some family and had a coffee and a bacon roll. Best bacon I've ever had. Great service and great prices.

Stopped for a breakfast. Had the medium one and it was massive. Really nice hot food and a great cup of coffee

Afternoon tea for Colin's birthday, excellent presentation of a choice of savories, cakes and trifle all made in house, even enjoyed the non alcho wine ! Lovely atmosphere and attentive service, only small cafe but more than makes up with the quality of fare available. Well recommended

Desperate we were for coffee and a sandwich ; Treherbert did not look too promising till we spotted this place. Great freshly prepared food , most of it home-made . Friendly service and very reasonably priced - fresh salad with sandwiches was first class as was my omelette.

Good servings & tasty. Small in there but warm. Good prices for tea & a sausage sarnie around £3 & a pot of tea at that. Will visit again if in the area.

We called in close to the end of the day. There had just been an afternoon tea party there but the owner was willing to cook something fresh for us. I ate the Corned Beef pie with Saute potatoes. Absolutely delicious. The owner and her daughter explained that all the food is made fresh. My wife had a lasagne which was also tasty. All good value with the total bill including soft drinks coming in at less than £12. Great find

Croeso has been a welcome addition to Treherbert since it opened last year. Finally we have somewhere to go for food or a quick cup of coffee. Alison and the girls always offer a warm welcome and everything they serve is not only home made but delicious. I have tried nearly everything they offer and have not been disappointed at all. Every week there is a different choice of meals available which offers a such a variety you will never get board or eating here. Alison also offers a delivery service locally to those who are not able to get out and visit. Honestly you are missing out if you have not been here to have a meal or even a cuppa and slice of cake (and who doesn't like cake) If I could give this place higher than excellent I would.
