Borneo Cafe and Bakery in Enfield

Then I first came here I was amassed and super cozy and it’s maybe one of the best pastries cafe and I hope everyone enjoys it and you will love it 🔥🔥

This place was absolutely lovely a couple years ago, brand new renovation, very well positioned tables, great food and service, you could really see and feel that quality was at the heart of the business. But it seems management change and everything changed. They placed fridges at the front of the windows, horrible decision as it doesn’t let in natural light, customers can no longer sit by the window and enjoy natural light. Place looks and feels more cramped and dirty, food options not as nice as they used to be and the staff seem to be not bothered to provide a decent service.

Amazing bakery with loads of choice and good coffee. Pastries were so nice and it was hard to choose just one! Would recommend as a place to go if staying near Alexandra Palace.

I’ve been coming to this cafe for a few months now, and I love it :-) the coffee is good and the staff are friendly. The cakes are yummy too!

In this bakery there are the best muffins of the world! And also Pizza very delicious and croissants. Sandwich with goat cheese and vegetables is also great. Fruit tarts with cream and strawberries or mix fruits are just heaven! And all the rest Iooks awesome and I’m sure it’s very testy as well! The staff is kind and efficient. Highly recommend this bakery if you are around green lane!

The food is amazing and always fresh, and the coffee it’s probably the best I’ve ever had. The decor is lovely, and the ambiance is very pleasant. And of course, all the server girls are lovely.

We are visiting this local cafe regularly to support them. I have reviewed them before but want to review again because it’s important to highlight them at the moment. They are taking this pandemic situation very seriously and should be applauded. Staff are always brilliant here and now they’re wearing gloves and masks. Thank you ladies. The floor is clearly marked out with 2m gaps so that customers remain at a safe distance from each other. Cleanliness is always excellent here and you can tell the place is cleaned properly. Very nice cafe, so professional. Support this local business! The coffee is superb and the pastries are delicious.

Was driving with friends and looking for a place to stop. This place smelled so good as we went past, parked up and went in. We weren’t disappointed. What a lovely place. Decor is good, nice ambience. Staff inside were waiting to serve us, pleasant and polite. The food and drinks were great, so tasty and inexpensive. This place is a real find in this area. I would definitely recommend to others

Really love the food here! So many amazing options and so fresh and flavourful! Never dry and so reasonably priced too! Love their banitsa! Especially the one with egg or spinach! Also Frankfurt pastry! So many nice cakes too! Really good place for breakfast or brunch!

Big thumbs up from us. Not too trendy, not too informal either, just right. The staff are fantastic and the place is nicely decorated and clean throughout. The coffee is delicious, made with such care... tasted far better than a high street chain. Nice panini too. Great little place, let’s keep supporting our local high street establishments. We’ll be regulars here.

I went with a friend today. I always pass it on the road. The menu was simple with choices of bakery / paninis etc... Food was amazing especially for the price.. A great thing about this cafe is the access .. there is enough room for pushchairs and wheelchairs with disabled toilets.. A very carefully thought out place.. Would I go again. 100%
