My son spotted this little place as we were visiting the Cutty Sark. We ate pribably the best pizza we've tasted in the UK! Great service, quiet and quaint restaurant, delicious. Highly recommended.

Excellent. Le patron et ses deux serveuses sont très serviables et sympathiques. Aux petits soins avec leurs clients. Le service est rapide et la nourriture de qualité. Nous avons pris une pizza, des raviolis pesto et une lasagne.

I’ve had lunch at this Italian restaurant near Greenwich Market twice recently with a friend. They do very nice home cooked Italian food, it’s reasonably priced and friendly staff. Much better than some of the more touristy restaurants in Greenwich! I’d recommend booking as they are quite small.

We chose this restaurant purely from a convenience perspective, I had no idea we would leave so thoroughly impressed. The menu is limited but herein lays the magic, what is prepared is wonderful. The lasagne was lovely, but the pizza was without question I think the best I’ve tasted. Strongly recommend

Amazing food. We were just visiting Greenwich Market and we passed by this place and the delicious smell led us to try this delicacy. 10/10 Highly recommend

We found the pizza to be quite average. The service was a bit weak but then we were outside in the garden, having booked online to be inside which looked much better.

If you are not familiar with a Pinzeria go here. You need to understand why this is so good. You also need to experience the Maestro at work. He cares so much for the food he prepares, and he cares too for those that work with him. An experience I am determined to enjoy again.

What a lovely restaurant! Fresh, authentic Italian cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere accompanied by friendly staff. Met the owner, Giuseppe, who shared his family's history in the business along with his Italian culture from southern Italy. Can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Will definitely return for another wonderful dining experience.

Easy to find near the station. Menu is simple, but with a good choice. Food was presented well and arrived at a good pace. Pizza was was light and crisp. Maybe l missed something on the menu, but they sneaked a service charge on without asking. Delicious tasting food and balanced with a pleasant ambience. 28GBP for a starter, pizza and beer.

Madre Pinzeria is located in Greenwich near the Cutty Sark. My wife and I went in today after the museum and wow! Delicious and authentic food -- the ingredients were fresh, the pizza was fantastic, and my wife had the lasagna bolognese which was so good. The sauce was authentic like you'd find in Italy. The owner was on site, from Calabria, and we also had an authentic Sicilian cannolo. The ricotta was so fresh, the shells are delivered directly from Palermo. I highly recommend this small restaurant. The have a nice Sangiovese and Rose' by the glass. A totally wonderful experience. Dare I say the best Italian I've found in London so far, albeit a limited menue to pizza and pasta. Try it! Buona!

This is called a pinseria because it sells flatbread pizzas called pinsas. They do a lunchtime deal featuring a ‘special’ pinsa with a small (125ml) glass of wine for .£15.90. This I tried and enjoyed. The pinsa in question had a Margarita base but with added specks of salami and vegetables. A wonderfully crunchy experience as opposed to that of the often soggy pizza base. A rum baba or rather three miniature alcohol drenched pastry confections (without cream) and an espresso rounded off matters nicely.

Increíble fruta fresca con nutella! Fresa el cielo. La fruta es recién cortada y las fresas son increíblemente fresca y dulce. Este es un verdadero regalo antes de ir a un espectáculo o para su desierto después de una agradable comida
