We spent a fabulous evening in this cosy restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and very authentic. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our favourite starters were the Gnocchi with truffles and the lovely Porchetta. The mains we had, especially the beef fillet, were very tasty as well. We will come back next time we are in London and highly recommend this place.

Great food and vero good service

Being someone who travels to Italy regularly, I don't often enjoy Italian food outside Italy. Having said that, the food at Osteria Romana was most authentically Roman. Had the rigatoni alla gricia and tiramisù, both of which were faultlessly delicious. Staff are extremely patient and attentive (Fabrizio, and I didn't catch the name of the other guy). Most impressively, the next table wanted to smoke (outdoor setting) and the staff first ensured there were no children nearby. A practice most restaurants will do well to adopt. Thank you for an amazing lunch experience!

A small restaurant but as soon as you enter it catapults you into a typical Roman restaurant. The cuisine is very good and the staff very friendly. A pleasant discovery during our holiday.

From the moment I entered, I immediately felt welcomed into a warm and convivial atmosphere, thanks to the extremely friendly and attentive staff. The cuisine is the real highlight of this restaurant. The dishes, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, authentically recall the flavors of the Roman tradition. From the classic carbonara to the gricia, every bite brought my mind back to the trattorias in central Rome. Fantastic place! The food is very tasty, brilliantly tasty. The pasta is phenomenal, the meat is unsurpassed. For the second time in my life, tiramisu was better than the one I cook. We were served by Fabrizio. Very nice, polite and fast! The best recommendations!

We had a wonderful time at Osteria with our server Fabrizio. The food was authentic Italian, one of the best we’ve had in London. The location and atmosphere is perfect for a date night. It’s tucked away on a quiet street. Fabrizio’s service was excellent!

The restaurant is located in a very nice alley a few meters from Hyde Park. The dishes were excellent and the welcome was really warm and courteous. Absolutely recommended!

We had a lovely dinner celebrating our anniversary with my beautiful girlfriend, we had delicious food. Special mention to the gluten free pasta, one of the best ones I have! The service was great at every moment. Fabrizio made our night! We’re sure we are going to come back soon!

After we left Harrod’s at 9pm I was craving some pasta for dinner so I looked up what was nearby on Google Maps and found this was the closest with the highest rating. We walked over and found it was located down a dark alley only lit up by the lamps from the restaurant. We didn’t have a reservation but they were able to accommodate and seat us after a few minutes. We ordered the rigatoni gricia and the fettuccine beef ragu and they were both so good! We also asked them for a good wine to pair with our pastas and the red one they gave was perfect. The atmosphere was really romantic and loved how the pastas came out in the pans they were cooked in—kept the pasta nice and warm. Def check this place out!

A very nice and welcoming place with excellent dishes. The waiters are efficient and attentive. The pasta was excellent, the meatballs were also delicious. The meal ends with free tozzetti.

The ambiance is cozy and authentic, with rustic decor that takes me straight back to Italy. Now, the food—wow! The pasta was freshly made, cooked to perfection and the tiramisu was a must. Overall, Osteria Romana offers a fabulous dining experience with authentic Italian cuisine by a wonderful chef, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Five stars, and I can’t wait to return!

Finally a taste of home in London! The tonnarelli cacio e pepe with truffle were creamy and tasty, but above all you could taste the truffle! We came here during our 5 day stay in London, the food was delicious and the portion sizes were extremely generous. Especially our waiter Nicon, but also the rest of the staff made sure that we had everything we wanted. We booked a table early in the evening but I can only imagine that the restaurant is even more beautiful and authentic when it is filled with chatter from other guests. I would always recommend the truffle pasta it was delicious 🤭

After dining here, I'm left questioning the abundance of positive reviews, many of which seem to come from accounts with only a handful of posts. Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing, and the restaurant felt like a classic tourist trap. Value: The prices are high considering the subpar quality of the food. Food: Most dishes were painfully mediocre, with the veal being particularly awful. The seabass was dry and lacked flavor. Ambiance: The place is a classic "hole in the wall," but not in a charming way. The atmosphere was uninviting, and there was a strange smell that made the experience even less enjoyable.

We had a wonderful meal at this beautiful restaurant for my Mother's birthday at the weekend. The decor is quaint and very aesthetically pleasing, and the restaurant feels very intimate with a classical atmosphere. The food was delicious - the flavours in the pastas married together so perfectly. It really felt like being in Italy. And the staff there were so sweet, making a wonderful gesture for my Mother's birthday. Fabrizio was so especially lovely and really made our experience the best it could have been.
