AMAZING good. Excellent service.

Service was not bad, food was not what we expected of a high rated and quite expensive restaurant. Land chops were a bit raw. Both spaghetti we ordered were middle quality. Sorry for the time

Absolutely the most FANTASTIC fettuccine I have ever had the pleasure of eating! I wish I had taken a photo but it looked as incredible as it tasted and I absolutely loved it. I can’t believe I just stumbled onto this place, great find! Took me in with no reservation as well, kindly enough.

I had lunch on a Sunday with friends. Very nice place and excellent food, we took a simple spaghetti with tomato sauce... as good as at home!! The Owner was hospitable and all the staff were very nice and kind. Highly recommended

This place is absolutely impeccable. The food was really tasty. The staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was pure Italian. I am Italian and the moment they started recognising that I was Italian they started speaking in Italian and that added to the experience.

Wonderful place, my best Italian dining experience in London Gian (Jan?) our waiter, was fantastic, catered to us very well. Food was incredible, tiramisu was like what you find in Italy. Unfortunately I didn't like the food very much. Service from the waiter Tanuka and his colleague, whose name unfortunately I don't remember, was excellent. Very nice and charming environment.

Nikon was excellent waiter he was lovely person with fast service. The place is amazing I’m sure it is even more when it’s packed. The food was excellent I had the spaghetti with tomato sauce, it’s veggies choice for me and it was delicious be careful it’s served hot 🤣♥️

Such a lovely and cozy restaurant with wonderful food! Even the pre-meal bread was sooo good, let alone the starter, pasta, and main. It was my birthday and Tiramisu was perfect little cake for it;) I'd like to thank Marian for his wonderful service! We'll definitely visit again.

The pearl deep in the alley I wasn't very hungry, but I was craving for Italian food, so I chose this restaurant with a high Google rating. Take the trouble to step on thunder. Arrive at 7:30. Need to wait for 20 minutes. There are comfortable sofas on the second floor for guests to wait and a bar. The pasta in this shop is made fresh every morning, so I ordered crab meat pasta. When the dish arrived, the orange-red crab shells were set against the goose-yellow pasta, which was a feast for the eyes! The chef did not put a lot of salt and cheese to cover up the flavor of the crab. The eggy aroma of the noodles and the freshness and sweetness of the crab burst into your mouth. This is one of the most delicious pastas I have ever eaten. If the ingredients are not fresh, it is better to make it. Not at this level! Dessert: I originally wanted to order the signature "pistachio tart", but I adapted and recommended Tiramisu. After trying it, it turned out to be authentic! The aroma is just right. Such high-quality Italian food at a very reasonable price. No wonder there is an endless stream of customers👍 Conclusion: Put on the dining hall list. I will definitely try other dishes next time I come to London!

The place is a great Italian restaurant compared to other “famous” Italian ones. Very tasty food and prices quite reasonable with a bottle of wine included.

The pasta, which is what we ate, was very delicious. For the price it is not an exaggeratedly large dish either. Then they put us at a table on the side next to the kitchen and it was a bit of a fit. Otherwise it's fine.

Tanuka gave us basil and oil and a free pan with tiramisu. Oh and free drinks. All jokes aside. Amazing. Me and nana had a good evening.

The restaurant on the web (Google) appears to have opening times and days that do not correspond to the real ones. I rushed in with high expectations after seeing the good reviews, and immediately seeing that the times on the web did not correspond to the real ones, I was disappointed. Too bad it would have been interesting to be able to evaluate their dishes and their services. I hope they fix the timetables on the web that they themselves have posted, consistently with those they do, so as to allow new customers not to have unpleasant surprises like the one that happened to me.

Last night I had a chance to visit this restaurant and eat, where I found very delicious carbonara which was filled with cheese as I wanted to be. And the quality was next level. David came to suggest this amazing spaghetti. All the other staff were nice as well.

Osteria Romana exceeded our expectations in all areas! We surprised my husband with a day out for his birthday that finished with dinner there. The ambience was lovely, the food was delicious and the service professional but with a smile at all times. Everything from the bread to the desserts was cooked with love. We were a group of 6 and each of our various pasta dishes were full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The tiramisu was to die for! I had asked for a nice table and a candle to celebrate his birthday and the way they delivered this was top notch! Definitely coming back again and bringing more friends. P/S they sell their own olive oil. Buy it, it's delicious!

We tried the cod pasta, which had a refreshing hint of zest, giving it a light and uplifting flavor, and the truffle pasta, rich with earthy tones—a perfect contrast and balance. To end the meal, we enjoyed the peach and ricotta tart, a delightful finish. Michel, our attentive and friendly waiter, added a personal touch, treating us to biscotti and limoncello to cap off the evening. Overall, a top-notch dining experience from start to finish.

This is a perfect hole-in-the-wall restaurant tucked away in a small alleyway--a hidden gem that serves some of the best pasta I've ever had. Inside, the restaurant is tiny and feels like stepping into a cozy Italian country house: dark, inviting, and full of charm. Complimentary bread is served as soon as you sit down, accompanied by fresh chopped basil from the plant on the table, mixed into the olive oil. The menu is extensive, and I wanted to try everything, but I ultimately had just one pasta dish, which was absolutely delicious. Each pasta is served in a small pan, adding a cute touch. I also tasted my friends' dishes, and they were all fantastic. I don't think you can go wrong with any choice here.

Google listened to me and a friend talking about carbonara one day, so politely started giving me subtle adverts for restaurants serving carbonara all the time and Osteria Romana was one of them. We thought we'd give it a try and we were really impressed. The atmosphere and service was nice and the authentic carbonara was indeed really good. No cream in sight! Will definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu in future!

We were forgotten for our wine order and when he did come back he was out of our selection then 15 minutes later he was out of our second selection. Our food still made it to our table before the wine and our salads and pasta came all at once. The salads were just the staple ingredients without dressing or creativity of any kind. The bucatini was salty and just warm. Certainly not deserving of 4.9 by google. If you want great Italian food… go to Italy. My three stars are generous.

Came to Osteria Romana due to the amazing 4.9 rating with these many reviews and it did not disappoint! Tucked away near Hyde Park and Harrods this Osteria has amazing pasta and main dishes! We ordered Carbonara and Amatriciana and were really nice. Enjoyed the tuna carpaccio and the Italian vibe inside the restaurant.

At the time of writing, this restaurant is 4.9 rated, and I can't honestly think of what people would have wanted more to take away the 0.1 star. Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in London. The food is fantastic, the service is fantastic (Tanuka, you're a legend!) and the ambience is fantastic (very romantic, so beware!) 😁 We had the gnocchi with black truffle sauce (delicious!) and the Roman pinsa as a starters, the Tonnnarelli cacio-e-Pepe ( in Pecorino wheel) which was amazing! The tiramisu was excellent as well! 10/10 recommend!
