L’angolo Bianco in City of London, Westminster

We discovered this lovely Cafe recently. The warm welcome by the staff as we arrived were a great sign of things to come. We were early for lunch but they were very accommodating and after a (very) short wait the delicious food arrived. As others have said the menu is not huge but the dishes we ate were flavoursome, good portions and obviously made with love and care. I really couldn’t fault the lunch and coupled with the friendly staff we left with a warm, content feeling inside. It is so nice to find a small, unique cafe in this world of chain establishments. This will be our go to Cafe from now on when we are in London.

Had the best mushroom pasta at this spot! The service was also quite inviting and warm. Would definitely be a go to Italian spot!

One of the best pastas I’ve had in my life. Service was super kind and also very attentive on recommendations. Terrace is great for a sunny London evening. Owners of the place are the kindest, made me feel super welcomed.

Absolutely loved our visit! The homemade mushroom and arrabbiata pastas were both incredible. Lovely spot to sit outside and enjoy the sun, and Anell, the owner, treated us like family, which made the experience even more special. Definitely will be coming back to try the rest of the menu!

Lovely looking place sat on a crossroads. Has inside and outside seating. Service extremely warm. What stands out though is the pasta. Literally best pasta dish I’ve eaten in years. Easy to do average pasta, difficult to make it exceptional and this really was. At £16 for lunch I couldn’t ask for anything better.

Although the cafe was small, food was great and Anel was always pleasant and very entertaining whenever we step in through the door..

I am so glad I opted to search within a short distance of our flat while in London or I would have missed this experience. I don’t eat pasta unless it is a “worth the calories” situation. This was beyond worth it. Nothing fancy. Just bright colors and beautiful flavors that pop in all the right ways. Perfection. I’m excited to return and try everything on the menu. Thank you for a beautiful experience.

Very oily pasta not worth the money. Better taste is in Mark Spencer ready meal.

Pasta was half cooked, although the taste was there, the portion size was very small for £12.50. It was dripping in oil and not enjoyable. Considering all the options in the area and the research I put into finding a good place with good reviews, I'm very disappointed.

It was a very satisfying meal. When I first went in, there was no kitchen, so I was confused as to where the food was being prepared and whether I was in the wrong place, but they came to cook in the basement. There must be a 3-star Michelin chef hidden in that secret base. I ordered orange juice and they used quite a few oranges to make one glass. Of course it tasted good too. The slice of carrot cake served was also excellent. I would definitely eat here again next time I have the chance to visit London. Thank you to everyone who made it a great experience.

Small cafe experience, was my first Italian restaurant experience in London, and this is everything I look for in a restaurant. Amazing food, good atmosphere, excellent service. The girl here was so nice. I got there a bit late for lunch too and they were still so accommodating.

I see the word gem mentioned in the reviews a lot but that's exactly what this place is. The owner is in the kitchen cooking with love, so you'll get some good honest food here. 5 mins to Marylebone station too, so if you're looking to avoid the chains around there, get over here.

I forgot to take pictures, but the food was absolutely delicious. The lovely owner came over to chat with us—she was super nice and friendly, which made us feel so relaxed. As it’s Christmas, we were surprised with a free piece of cake! How generous of her! I’ll definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys homemade cooking.

Delicious homely food, absolutely wonderful service, dog friendly, and great to sit out and watch the world go by. Our waitress brought us delicious cakes at the end, it’s the perfect spot for coffee and cake. The pasta was wonderful too. A real gem

A 100% Italian restaurant with Italian products cooking with Italian refinement - DELICIOUS!

I would just like to shout out to Ola. She is an absolute angel. My 11 year old son was walking from school and he tripped and split his forehead (needing 3 stitches) and she was the only person to run to his aid and make sure he was ok and gave him a bottle of water. I wish there were more people on this earth as special and caring as you. Thank you Ola. You are a true gem. You have customers for life.

The pasta was recommended, but I went for a salad. After someone in my party got their pasta, I had portion envy. I highly recommend the pasta in this place. It is a nice little spot for lunch. Italian food, good for vegetarians. Feels like an Italian restaurant where the owners come to your table to speak with you, and remember every customer.

The waitresses are pushy - we did not feel well at this place. We were sitting and drinking coffee, CC and juice for 15 minutes and they both came every two minutes to ask us what we were going to eat. We tried to order few deserts but they did not have it that day those deserts we wanted to order. Pushy and not welcome

I rarely give a full 5 stars, but this charming spot truly earned it. The menu may be small, but that’s exactly what drew us in – we knew the focus would be on authenticity and personal touches, and we weren’t disappointed. Every dish was a joy, and the service was equally impressive, warm, and attentive. At the end of our meal, we had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, whose passion and enthusiasm left us feeling uplifted for the rest of the day. If you’re looking for a cozy lunch spot with great food and a welcoming atmosphere, this place is definitely worth a visit.

I’m not sure why this is rated 4.7. It’s just okay. I sat down and they didn’t come by with anything for a while until I went to ask for a menu, same with the bill. The food was fine - I wouldn’t say I’d go back. They weren’t the friendliest either. And they don’t have a bathroom for customers which if you’re serving food you must have one Edit: this wasn’t just one of the workers, it was both that were working

Very light and airy spot for coffee and lite bites. We had the egg and spinach puff pastry which looked and tasted great. The service was very prompt and helpful. Many people were stopping for take away coffee on the way to work. A great little gem in the neighborhood!

I stopped by here today whilst in the area. One of the waitresses said she was going to check if we could still order because they were about to close for the day, but she got sidetracked with something else. She never came back to the table. Basically, left us hanging. Waiting. We did order after another waitress came by. Their food is good. However, highly overpriced. A sandwich for 14 pounds. We ordered because we were hungry, but honestly all the restaurants on this street are highly overpriced taking advantage of local workers in nearby businesses. I went to two other restaurants and same thing. Highly over-priced for what they give you. Overly priced brasserie style restaurant. The sandwich didn't come with anything else, no chips. Nothing. 29.95 pounds for two sandwiches. Ridiculous!

The food was fantastic. Proper Italian food, with incredible taste and freshness. Must try the truffle rigatoni.

THE BEST place to eat in London!!! Everything from Meza's kitchen is mouthwateringly delicious, bursting with flavour and life. Her food has that one vital, magic ingredient that no other restaurant can compete with; Meza cooks with love and heart ♥️ We LOVE the Bolognese, to name something on the menu and of course everything we've ever eaten there is just superb. Without Meza's soul food, warm hugs and happiness, a trip to London is not complete. We love you, Meza and family💖💖💖🥂🥂🥂

We were just passing by and found this hidden gem. Anel was an amazing host, he made us feel like home. At first, we only had a pastry and some drinks while we recharged batteries for the day. On the same day, we knew we had to come back for lunch. Food as AMAZING: it had an embedded homemade flavor that is incomparable. Anel told us it was a family run business and you could tell!! 10/10 we will be coming back each time we are nearby. Can’t recommend it enough

Fabulous pasta, some of the best I’ve had. We took an early dinner and really enjoyed the meal.

Nous avons testé ce restaurant avec des collègues et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Les pâtes étaient incroyables. La patronne nous a même fait goûter un plat pour qu'on lui donne notre avis... tout étaient succulents. Rien que d'en parler j'en salive encore. L'accueil est également à souligné, très commerçants, nous avons eu droit non seulement au test des pâtes de la patronne mais également elle nous a servi quelques parts de gateaux (gratuitement). Merci pour ce moment convivial ! je recommande à 100%.

I found this gem in google. The spaghetti is so good. I love the most is the hardness of that. The salad is so fresh and the chef will come out to care the clients’ thoughts. This is so heart warming. Highly recommend to check this out.

We went for a late lunch, only 2 items of the menu were available. I was disappointed, but all changed when meal was served. Food was AMAZING, excellent pasta, quantity, quality of ingredients.

I've been coming to this place for over 4 years now! The service is excellent, Meza, Anel and all the lovely staff have always gone above and beyond to make the experience and the food enjoyable. I highly recommend this place both for in situ orders and catering. They also serve the best mushroom pasta I have ever tasted. More success to you team!

What a wonderful gem of a restaurant. The spinach and the mushroom pastas were just excellent. Generous portions and we were full about halfway through but we continued to eat because it was THAT good. Wish we stayed in London longer to be able to try more of the menu. The staff was so very kind and friendly.

We returned to London in a little over a year and had to return to L'Angolo Bianco. We are so glad we did, as everything was excellent. Our party of 4 was uniformly pleased with all facets of our dinner experience.

My fiancee and I returned here today with two other family members after having 3 terrific meals here in May 2023. All of our dinners tonight were excellent and the service was outstanding. I especially recommend the tortelloni and the mushroom pasta. Both were delicious. We hope we can return to London in 2025 so that we can eat here again.

We stopped here for an impromptu lunch on our walk while visiting London. What a lovely cafe with a great menu and welcoming service! The chicken sandwich, homemade cakes, and pastries were delicious. Our lunch was further complemented by the cozy patio atmosphere. Great vibes here really made our day in London special! My fiancé and I took a ten day trip to Europe, visiting a few different countries. We experienced great service throughout our travels but nothing as exceptional as the service we recieved at L'Angolo Bianco. The chicken sandwich was divine, but we will absolutely return each time we’re in London because of the experience shared with Anell. He made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived and we shared in great conversation throughout our meal. He genuinely cared about our enjoyment during our dining experience, which is rare to find these days. He even gifted us with some complimentary pastries upon sharing the news of our engagement, which was an incredibly thoughtful touch! I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 15+ years and he is a reminder of why I joined this career path. You should absolutely stop in for a meal here if you’re looking for a special memory while in London.

It was truly the best pasta I had in London! The staff were so friendly, the food was plentiful, and it was really delicious, so I was sad that I went on the last day of my trip. Next time I go, I will definitely go every day!

Cozy Italian Gem with Delicious Eats L'Angolo Bianco (49 Crawford St, London) is a fantastic little Italian restaurant. Their chicken sandwich was amazing, and the ricotta pastry? Even better! Sweet, creamy, and perfect with a classic Coca-Cola. Highly recommend for a satisfying bite of Italy.

I found this place wasn't good value for money - too expensive compared to what was offered. £15.00 for a Bresaola ciabatta? Even for London, these are crazy prices. The person manning the shop seemed rushed off their feet, but was pleasant and smiley anyway. I opted for a cappuccino, which at £4.00 was much smaller than other places - it was good though.

Amazing service. Lovely ladies made the experience very personable and we felt at home. She made us feel like our own kids. Not to mention they backed up the experience with even better food. I got the mushroom pasta and it may be the best dish I’ve ever had. They also provided us with complimentary salads and dessert. Felt necessary to tip for all they did. I might be back tomorrow!
