The best restaurants in United Kingdom

Visited here for the first time on the off chance for a table on a Friday evening and they managed to squeeze us in. Decor could do with some updating but the food was delicious, particularly the nan bread. Friendly service too. Will definitely be back!

Esperó durante más de una hora para llevar pizzas de The Gorilla Kitchen en dos ocasiones ahora en The Star en Steyning. Nos dijeron en ambas ocasiones que la espera sería de media hora. Cuando le planteé esto al tipo que cocina la Pizza (en una furgoneta en el parking ) me dijo que tenía que esperar hora y media cuando salió a comer hace poco y que no se quejaba (¡así que yo tampoco debería! ) Lástima porque las pizzas son buenas, pero no se las recomendaremos a nadie en Steyning. Muchas familias jóvenes también esperan en el aparcamiento con un aspecto muy harto.

This is our second visit and it won’t be our last. Atmosphere great very friendly and spotlessly clean. Food is expertly cooked, presented and tastes delicious. A hidden gem, wonderful teas and fresh home made scones. Attentive courteous staff. Just like a tearoom should be. Excellent. Oh and real white linen.

Tuve las mejores tortitas que he tenido aquí el día de las tortitas (aunque están todo el año aquí - incluso hacen un reto de tortitas imposible)! Fue un martes por la mañana bastante tranquilo, pero se hizo sentir muy bienvenido por Bonesy (gracias!). Una verdadera joya de un café que recomiendo encarecidamente. Muy buen precio también!

Gran café, gran ubicación y gran servicio de Oli. Soy una gran fan del café con leche, pero mi habitual es un blanco plano que siempre pega en el punto.

Love the food in this small restaurant. It’s the best korma around. Lamb chops are excellent. The food is fresh and it’s become a favourite. The staff are lovely too. Mango lassie is available. You won’t be disappointed.

Another fab experience at this tucked away restaurant. The food and service is fantastic, you won’t be disappointed . Extensive menu to cater for everyone.

Had a lovely meal at Lorenzos this week. Every dish from the impressive menu was exceptional; full of flavour, well presented. Also tried some summer cocktails which were divine. All this, and with wonderful, friendly, attentive hosting from the whole team, and a fantastic but not intrusive soundtrack! Can’t recommend highly enough.

We went to Attica for dinner to celebrate a birthday. We had vegetarians, those who needed a healthy option and carnivores, all were catered for and then some. The food exceeded all expectation, better than the photos on the site. Delicious is the least we could all say! Everyone in our party agreed the food was awesome, the service great, happy to accommodate special requests, nothing was a problem. I had never been here before and have now recommended to friends (who have now visited) and we are all agree this that this place is an outstanding little gem not to be missed. Without a doubt we will return!!

Enjoyed our first visit here and will certainly go again. All the students were very polite and worked hard. We had the three course lunch which is superb value at £15 a head. The menu is quite traditional and the portions are very generous! The homemade focaccia bread to start is outstanding. We both loved the coconut rice pudding with mango. My husband adored his scotch egg starter too! Thank you to all who made this a very pleasant occasion. Fortunate to have a lovely place to eat at such tremendous value.
