Attica Greek Taverna in Fife

Ate here the other evening and it wasn’t bad. Affordable and a great atmosphere. Service wasn’t bad, although waitress had to check on a few questions that was raised which is fine as she just wanted to double check. Negative for the waitress however was that she was chewing gum as she worked and was talking with us. The food itself was ok. The lamb was well cooked, but with plenty of bones in the chops the meat was limited. Overall an ok dining experience. But I did want it to be better.

Just dropped in for lunch on a Saturday, did not know about it , what a superb unexpected find. From the start we were made to feel very welcome. Very good menu with some interesting dishes. The food was lovely and clearly made with care. The service we received was first class in what was nice , clean and pleasant surroundings. We will definitely be back .

I only wish I could write a review but the only thing I can review is that they don't answer the phone, or return calls after leaving a voicemail. Hugely frustrating and unprofessional.

Friends Birthday Lunch had amazing food a a few laughs, we weren't rushed out to free up the table, which was great, we sat and 4 cocktails each. Xx

Lovely food and friendly, cheerful, down- to-earth service. Gigantes bean dish was the star of the show, but everything on our table was delicious. Normally we are big carnivores, but we realised halfway through the meal that we had no meat dishes at all among our mezze selection. We didn't mind though, as we enjoyed every mouthful. Well worth a five-star review

Lovely bright airy restaurant, food is excellent, the Greek spices take you back to those Greek holidays, Mythos available, staff very friendly, reasonable price as well for the town centre, £130 for 4 people with mains and drinks

We were here for a Christmas friends get together. 6 of us and we ate from the festive menu. This was most of ours first experience of Greek food and we were all really happy with our meal. Service was quick and friendly and good came out quickly. Too many things to mention but big shout for the tzatziki, hummus, souvlaki and portakalopita. We will definitely be back. We were heading on somewhere but there was traditional Greek music starting as we were leaving which seems like a good experience.

Booked for 6.30 , got drinks served around 7, waited till 7.30 before our food arrived. Poor girl in kitchen brought our food while the owner sat in his car outside having a cigarette 😡. Chicken kebabs were dry, food not as good as described on the menu. We weren't asked if we wanted another drink. Sorry guys but we won't be visiting again ☹️

We were having a stroll around Dunfermline looking for somewhere to eat and came across Attica down a side street. The staff were welcoming and luckily had a table. There was a good range of traditional Greek food but instead of having a main we went for the tapas which had a healthy choice so we could try different dishes, which worked very well. The food had plenty of flavour and very well cooked. Good attentive service from Sonila ensured we were well looked after.

This Greek Taverna is well worth a visit. In the heart of Dunfermline it serves Traditional Greek Food and Wine including a variety if amazing Starters, Mains and Desserts. The Meze's are amazing. A great n8ght out with friends.

Welcoming staff, great food nicely presented and tasting delicious. It was such a good experience we’ve booked our Christmas lunch here as well I’m sure we’ll not be disappointed!

Food was excellent and hot. Service was ok if not a bit over exuberant like clearing the plates whilst someone was still eating. Waitress had obviously been out for a cigarette as stank of smoke when she came back in to clear said plates! I wanted a white wine which they didn’t have but was offered red or the same brand. When I asked what a bottle was like was told about this size - very literal take on the question. Suggest some training required on etiquette and awareness on the wine variety! Staff table in the corner next to the kitchen where they left thier jackets and sat when not busy - just an odd thing to do and made to feel a little uncomfortable when the staff are just sitting after thier shift. Notwithstanding any of that - the food was delicious and happily go back but just be prepared for it not being a polished service!

Great food and staff attentive without being overbearing. Greek sausage is a must have, going back tonight! Highly recommended.

Lovely authentic Greek food. Had the chicken Souvlaki. Very tasty and filling, beautifully cooked with just the right amount of sear on the meat. Greek salad was very tasty and fresh too. Only £14.95 for 2 course lunch. My only suggestion, turn off the Greek radio, its a bit jarring, and play some nice Greek music instead!

Superb new authentic Greek taverna in the centre of town. Went for dinner and had beef stifado. Totally authentic and beautifully cooked. My partner had a meze of dishes all of which were superb. There was so much to try on the menu we will...

We had a most enloyable lunch and would recommend the baked prawns. The staff were very pleasant. Will defintiely be going back.

Lovely food in this new restaurant. Authentic Greek cuisine with exceptional staff. Good selection of Greek beers and wine. Varied selection on the menu. We had chicken souvlaki and Greek sausage plus starters. Really tasty and well cooked. We will definitely be back. Yamas

Lovely authentic Greek food in this new Greek restaurant. Great owners and lovely staff. Also serves authentic Greek beers - Alpha and Mythos. White wine was really good too. Good choice on the menu for both starters and main courses. Can't wait to visit again....
