Mt. Everest in Wirral

My wife booked us a meal on New Years Eve 2024 and everything was excellent! The waiting staff, the drinks and the meal were all first class! Could not recommend this high enough!! A fantastic night out - well worth experiencing 😁

We are from Manchester, staying in New Brighton, and came across this little gem. Stunning food, excellent service, big portions and great value. Had fish pakora, very tasty, freshly made poppadoms, chicken tikka buna and special karachi, with plain nan and pilau rice. Every item was cooked to perfection

Some of the best curries I’ve ever had. The Sherpa Lamb and Hariyali Lamb are our favourites. The Momo’s are amazing, homemade Nepalese steamed dumplings filled with minced chicken and served with a homemade sauce which is delightful. The naan breads are all freshly made and you can taste it, a favourite is chill and garlic. Very reasonable prices of both food and beverages. Lovely staff, very knowledgable and helpful with food choices. PS, try the local draft Mount Everest beer, you won’t be disappointed.

Found this restaurant very compact. Not much room to fit guests in. The quality of food was very good and the service also, but it's a bit on the expensive side and there are cheaper Indian restaurants in Wallasey. Not to sure if I would go back.

Love the food in this small restaurant. It’s the best korma around. Lamb chops are excellent. The food is fresh and it’s become a favourite. The staff are lovely too. Mango lassie is available. You won’t be disappointed.

The Sherpa Lamb is incredible. Service is 2nd to none and the food is genuinely the tastiest curry on Wirral. Thoroughly recommend. Take away is always on time too.

Absolutely fantastic food, the meat just melted I my mouth and everyone in our little group was raving about the food, it was so delicious. The service was impeccable and so unobtrusive, such beautiful ladies that served us quietly with wonderful smiles. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and me and our friends will most definitely be back soon

Romantic meal with the Girlfriend yesterday and everything went well. Good good (ordered Gurkhali Chicken and Lamb Jalfrezi, both tasted nice), served quickly and by a friendly, pleasant waitress. Would definitely come back.

The menu offers the normal range of Indian curry dishes as well as Nepalese specialities. We just ordered Nepalese dishes, and each was very tasty, in particular the lamb. The service was very attentive. We will definitely return next time we are in Wallasey.

First time visiting this restaurant and was not disappointed. The food and service were excellent. Binita served us and she was extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome with her great smile. We will be back very soon

Visited the restaurant for the first time and was delighted by the friendly service and delicious food. We tried options from the Nepalese section of the menu and enjoyed them greatly (the lamb was particularly tender and flavoursome). Indian options for those who prefer that, and all in all a great night.

Only opened recently. Visited early evening, a few other people there but waiter (Rajan?) was immediately very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Spotted a few things on menu hadn’t experienced before but they were excellent, ie the chicken ‘lollipop’ starter and a chicken, lamb and king prawn main (karahi special) which at medium strength was just right. Peshwari naan also great. Will visit again.

Six adults all had different main dishes and a variety of starters. Not one complaint. Especially liked the naans and the large range of specialty dishes. Everything tasted fresh and served piping hot. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Mount Everest beer was lovely. We were served promptly even though the restaurant was a busy Friday night. We will definitely be returning.

Visited Mt Everest today and both the service and food were fantastic! Because it is Nepalese I decided to try something different and went for the Sherpa Lamb, it was beautiful! Such a tasty meal I would highly recommend. The staff were extremely accommodating and we ordered chicken tikka and chips for my little boy which he demolished. Will definitely be going back again soon.

Saw this listed in la Vida Liverpool magazine. Excellent Indian food, it's hard to find as it's usually Bangladeshi not Indian. Was not disappointed. We had several dishes and all were perfect, meat and vegan all good.

Not impressed, asked for garlic naan, sent the wrong chilli naan. Didn't resolve on the day, and just asked for pictures the following day when the meal was eaten?? First they sent a chilly naan which was wrong and I don't even like it, so kind of ruined the meal, but then trying to get out of their own mistake asking for pictures instead of admitting fault is just poor customer service. In future admit your mistakes and correct it quickly not the following day.
