Super cosy jewel in the centre of Higham Ferrers. Very busy and great staff made me welcome. Ordered an omelette and was I impressed. Best I've eaten in many years. Taste buds were going crazy

Spanish deli, Tapas restaurant and vermuteria all in one - whats not to love. The food is excellent, the vermut is excellent and youll not leave without buying something in the deli.

Fuimos a La Mela con 6 amigos, y nos encantó! La comida era increíble, especialmente mi col rizada crujiente, hongos y huevo en masa madre. ¡En serio delicioso! Mis amigos también quedaron impresionados por el lugar. Acabo de mudarme a la zona, y esta va a ser definitivamente mi nueva opción - para el lugar para el almuerzo. La camarera italiana era una joya absoluta – súper amable, divertida, y realmente hizo que todo el ambiente fuera aún mejor con su personalidad extrovertida. The food was ok and came quickly, but the service was terrible. No one asked if we liked the food, they took away our empty drinks without asking if we wanted more, and they didn't ask if we wanted dessert. So we asked for the bill and had dessert at Cacciari's, across the street. We had dinner at Cacciari's a couple of nights before the dinner at Rocca and were very, very happy. So if you want good Italian food AND good service, have dinner at Cacciari's instead of Rocca.

We had an anniversary meal at this restaurant and it was a perfect way to celebrate. The staff are wonderful, professional and friendly. The food is to die for! I had chicken pie which was absolutely delicious, plenty of food and piping hot.. My husband had the Moroccan vegetable tureen, he is an extremely fussy veggie and he said his was the best vegetarian mrsl he'd ever had!
