La Mela in Hackney

Fuimos a La Mela con 6 amigos, y nos encantó! La comida era increíble, especialmente mi col rizada crujiente, hongos y huevo en masa madre. ¡En serio delicioso! Mis amigos también quedaron impresionados por el lugar. Acabo de mudarme a la zona, y esta va a ser definitivamente mi nueva opción - para el lugar para el almuerzo. La camarera italiana era una joya absoluta – súper amable, divertida, y realmente hizo que todo el ambiente fuera aún mejor con su personalidad extrovertida. El ambiente era precioso, y no puedo esperar a volver! ¡Máximas notas para La Mela!

Tuvimos un excelente brunch en La Mela recientemente; todo lo que pedimos era muy sabroso y buena relación calidad-precio. Personal amable. Trataremos de volver en nuestra próxima visita a Homerton.

Cuatro de nosotros reservamos a través del sitio web de Fork para una comida del sábado por la noche. Los cócteles eran geniales y la comida era deliciosa. El personal nos permitió salir a mitad de la comida. El personal era en general muy atento. Quizá la factura podría haber llegado un poco más rápido al final, pero con una fiesta de bodas a cuestas, puedo entenderlo. Sin duda volvería.

La actitud de los dueños es repugnante y la forma en que habla no merece trabajar en hostelería Me senté pedí un café con la camarera lo cancelé inmediatamente y pedí un jugo de manzana fresco en su lugar porque tengo blanqueamiento dental en mi retenedor, unos minutos después la camarera sale con un café y jugo de manzana dije “¿qué es eso” y luego el propietario vino dentro de los 30 segundos de las bebidas que se ponen en la mesa y sin preguntar cuál es el problema o lo que pasó me dijo ¿puedes irte así que dije perdón y lo seguí en el área de mostrador dentro de la cafetería y dije que con quién estás hablando no hables con los clientes así y levanté la voz Estaba disgustado con la actitud que luego trató de ofrecerme el jugo de manzana después de una discusión acalorada con él Yo solo estuve aquí ayer después de haber brunch estado aquí un par de veces en los últimos 2 - 3 meses y sin duda será el último! Actitud totalmente equivocada hacia el trabajo en hostelería

Gran restaurante local con buenos espacios para comer y personal encantador. Visitamos dos veces ya que nos alojamos cerca y tanto la cena como el desayuno eran encantadores. Gran menú con mucha selección y cócteles y cafés bien hechos. Sin duda recomendaría si en la zona. Gracias.

My friend chose this place as it always looks so busy and looked like a great place to eat. This place is close to the park and it does look good from the outside. On entering, it looked warm and inviting. But we chose to eat outside as it was a beautiful sunny day. The lady serving us was friendly, she was a little busy and did take a while to get her attention, but after ordering the food, it was pretty good, nice portions and was nicely presented. I do hope to go again as we had a good time. What we ordered: Chicken Burger - chicken thigh marinated in garlic, cajun sauce,onion, lettuce, tomato, crushed avocado, served, with fries. Con Pollo - penne pasta, creamy mushroom chicken, fresh tomato, garlic and parmesa. Bliss on the beach x2

This is my second time at this restaurant and each time was a very friendly experience Food was again very good & Portions size was agin good The restaurant has had a nice renovation done on the floor, tables, & walls, so that was nice to see. I forgot it was dog friendly, so this time l didn’t have my dog, next time 😊

Visited on a Saturday evening with my daughter. Lovely warm welcome and the food was delicious. Beautifully presented and the flavours were incredible. Relaxed surroundings and excellent service, highly recommend

My friend took me here about 4 months ago and we now go every Sunday. The food is superb! I have the Forager Breakfast or the Herbivor and imo the best breakfast I've had in London and I've been to a lot of the vegan breakfast places in London. Lovely interior, the owner and chef are super nice and they play great music, really relaxed vibes.

This is a wonderful, informal, welcoming place with great range of vegetarian options and lovely homemade cakes. Have been here a few times for lunch and for dinner - most recently with my family for a pre Christmas meal. The food is great; they always add such nice touches to their dishes and seem to take pride in what they do. Great place to visit for cannoli and coffee when cheering on the runners in the Hackney Half too.

We stumbled upon this little place by chance, en route to Homerton station after a long walk along the River Lea Canal. It was fantastic. The menu is very varied. We went for the scrambled eggs, which came on delicious sourdough bread. The staff were very pleasant. I would definitely recommend it.

Delicious meal, lovely people, good value for money! Two of our party were vegetarian and they were impressed by the choice. Definitely recommend and we'll definitely be back🙂

Their Con Pollo is the best around never tasted better, it’s a lovely Little vista in Homerton, lovely food and drink nice friendly staff, service with a smile five stars ⭐️

Good food, try their juices! Friendly service and great garden. Dog friendly place and they offer water to your dog. Their Turkish breakfast dishes are great. Their winter garden is looking good. Thanks

I cannot remember the last time I had a carbonara that good. I would come back for that reason alone!

I went to La Mela with my friend for dinner after work. We were greeted straight away and brought to a table. The service was incredible and the atmosphere was so lovely. We both ordered pasta dishes (delicious) and then shared a slice of HOMEMADE tiramisu for dessert. Everything was brilliant and I would highly recommend. An absolute gem of a place and well worth a visit.

I chose this place as l have a dog and it sounded very dog friendly. so Walking towards the place I was quite surprised it was where it was, ( but it is close to a park ) it does look good from the outside. On entering, it looked worm and inviting, and we quickly noticed it was not in anyway just a cafe, but more like a restaurant. I do feel l need to say that we did have a deal of 50% off on the bill, and do other offers. BUT however : The lady serving us was very nice and polite and friendly, she was a little busy and did take a while, but after ordering the food, it was VERY good, nice portions and was nicely presented. The wine was not over priced, which I was also happy with,. The person in charge ( possibly the owner ) gave me a dog friendly ice cream free which l thought was very nice of him to do. We do hope to go again as we all had a lovey time and the food & staff was very nice 😊😊

I always look for nice ambience in places I visit in London and this one is so great and versatile - there’s space indoors, outdoors and a winter garden also. Apart from the aesthetics, the food is tasty and there’s a nice variety (I’m vegetarian and never have an issue with choosing a dish). The staff is very friendly and welcoming too, I always enjoy being back here. I recommend this place for cocktails, brunch, dinner dates :) never disappoints!

We found this place by accident when we had a long wait for friends. The staff were really understanding and helpful! Great food, good prices.

Pretty spectacular breakfast , you will not find better than this !!! Friendly staff catering for all diets , coffee is excellent!!

I ordered pancakes with maple syrup. They arrived doused in golden syrup. When I asked the staff about this, they apologised but didn’t offer any explanation or rebate on the bill. This practice is against the law in the UK, so please take note.
